The 15 24/7 plumbers serving Cleveland

These 15 plumbers list 24/7 hours on their Google profiles — a claim they publish, not something we tested. We read 1,141 of their reviews for what actually happens after hours: where reviewers describe a real 2 a.m. call, that evidence is quoted below; where no review mentions after-hours response either way, the card says that too. Rankings are not for sale.

Updated Jul 11, 202620-mile radius of downtown ClevelandHow we rank
How we rank — the 60-second version

What we read: for each plumber, up to 100 recent reviews from Google, Yelp and BBB — the full text, not just the stars. For this page: 1,141 reviews across 15 businesses.

What moves a plumber up: repeated, independent evidence of showing up when promised, fair and upfront pricing, and work that holds. One glowing review counts for little; twenty that agree count for a lot.

What moves a plumber down: repeated complaint patterns — surprise fees, missed appointments, pressure sales — especially when they show up on more than one platform.

What never moves the ranking: money. One clearly labeled sponsored slot may appear above this list; it never changes the order below it.

Our take on each plumber is our opinion, grounded in the reviews we quote on this page. Full methodology ↓

Before you call anyone: shut off your main water valve. Then start at the top — every card is one tap to call. Not urgent? See all ranked plumbers in Cleveland

Why we're cautious

  • BBB F rating (non-accredited); 12 of 64 analyzed reviews are 1-star — two involve incomplete repairs: ceiling leak left open over Thanksgiving with no return, and washing machine drain hose left disconnected flooding kitchen and garage (2 of 64 reviews)
  • Scheduling office failures: 5-hour delay before relaying a call, no call when running hours late to appointment — communication=1 in 64 analyzed reviews (1 of 64 reviews)
  • slow_response=3 in 64 analyzed reviews; scheduling office failed to relay messages, did not notify when running late, and rescheduled without notice (1 of 64 reviews)

To be fair

  • weekend_or_emergency=7 in 64 analyzed reviews; confirmed after-hours arrivals within 30 minutes on Sunday night, burst pipe fixed after 6pm, and sewage backup cleared with fans left for weekend drying (cited in 3 of 64 reviews)
  • fair_pricing=6 in 64 analyzed reviews; beat competitors' look-at-it quotes on at least 2 confirmed occasions — came in cheaper than another company's estimate just to come out (cited in 2 of 64 reviews)
What reviewers praise
Ray is a super nice man, came out late on a Sunday night to fix a stopped up sink. Two other places told us we'd have to wait until Tuesday, ray showed up in less than a half hour. Sink fixed, super professional, great guy. 10/10 would call and recommend him.

The most critical take we found
Had a water leak near my laundry room. Called my new home warranty company to have it repaired. Ray's was sent to me. The leak was found in the wall of my laundry room. The repairmen John and Chris took care of the leak. However, we didn't find out until …

Why we're cautious

  • Customer paid $7k for field line repair; company promised to level yard after 2 months but stopped answering calls for 4+ months (Google, Sep 2022). (1 of 17 reviews)
  • Reviewer tried company several times: "Getting them to respond or show up is the issue" — repeated no-response pattern across multiple jobs. (2 of 17 reviews)
  • Post-job responsiveness is a documented pattern: 2 reviews report phone calls not returned after work was completed, spanning 2022–2023. (2 of 17 reviews)

To be fair

  • Weekend and same-day service confirmed: answered calls others didn't, arrived same day; came out on a Sunday very late and resolved the issue. (cited in 2 of 17 reviews)
  • Pricing cited as extremely reasonable; one job came in at 1/3 the cost of other quotes for sewage line repair and septic risers. (cited in 2 of 17 reviews)
What reviewers praise
Dillion and his crew came out right after Thanksgiving to repair a sewage line issue and install septic risers. Extremely friendly and 1/3 the cost of other quotes.

I have tried to use this company several times for different issues, if you can get them to respond or show up they do good work. Getting them to respond or show up is this issue. Good luck if trying to use them!!

How we rank the plumbers on this page

  1. We read the reviews — all of them we can get. For each plumber serving Cleveland we pulled up to 100 recent reviews from Google, Yelp and BBB and read the full text. For this page: 1,141 reviews across 15 businesses.
  2. Patterns beat anecdotes. A plumber moves up when independent reviewers keep describing the same behavior: showing up when promised, quoting before working, work that holds. One rave changes nothing.
  3. Complaints count double when they repeat.Surprise fees, missed appointments, pressure sales — when the same complaint appears across reviewers (or across platforms), it caps how high we'll rank a business regardless of its star average.
  4. Money never moves the ranking.A plumber can buy the clearly-labeled sponsored slot at the top of the page — visibility, not endorsement. A business we wouldn't recommend can't buy the slot at all, and no payment changes the ranked order.
  5. Our take is our opinion. It's grounded in the reviews we quote and count on this page — check our evidence and disagree with us if you like. That's the point of showing it.
Every quotation on this page is reproduced verbatimfrom a publicly posted review and attributed to its author, star rating, platform and date. Star averages and review counts are Google's (or Yelp's) as of our last data pull. “Rating mix” charts describe only the set of reviews we analyzed, which we state on every card.
