Ray is a super nice man, came out late on a Sunday night to fix a stopped up sink. Two other places told us we'd have to wait until Tuesday, ray showed up in less than a half hour. Sink fixed, super professional, great guy. 10/10 would call and recommend him.
Had a pipe burst. Called Ray, sent him a text with picture, they came, they saw, and they conquered the problem. They were fast, got the job done even though it was after 6:00pm. Price was less than I expected.
Sewage backup in basement. 😣 Ray cleaned & cleared, I scheduled septic pumping for the next week. Ray left 2 big fans for me to use over the weekend & seeded/strawed after backfilling the septic tank. He absolutely went above and beyond! Charged reasonably for an ugly issue. Great guy, great service. 👍Will definitely call Ray again with any plumbing issue!
Had a water leak near my laundry room. Called my new home warranty company to have it repaired. Ray's was sent to me. The leak was found in the wall of my laundry room. The repairmen John and Chris took care of the leak. However, we didn't find out until today that the two "geniuses" didn't return the washing machine drainage hose to the drain pipe. And the only reason we found out is because we had a load of laundry running while we were out shopping today. I had $150 worth of cat and dog food partly ruined because of the idiocy of these guys. My kitchen was soaked. My garage is half flooded. I'm NOT happy. I called them, and the person that answered the phone didn't seem like he gave a damn. Totally unprofessional. Don't bother using them...
Awful. Attempted to repair leak in our dining room ceiling. Left us with a hole in our ceiling for Thanksgiving and never came back to fix the leak. Overcharged too. Never answered calls.
This is NOT a company you want for your plumbing needs. We were having a weird sound coming from our pipes. We called Ray's Plumbing and they sent out two guys who went to each bathroom and the final two bathrooms and said there were a leak under each faucet. Funny thing is there was not a leak in either of those places before they came. They asked if they could fix both places and I said yes. After repairing those faucets the guy told me I would have to make out 2 checks. I asked why and the guy named James Smith told me it would be cheaper than making out 1 check. The first check I wrote went to Ray's Plumbing for $175. The next check he said to make out to himself, James Smith. I don't know what I was thinking at the time but I wrote out the check to him for $150. After he left, we called the main office and told the dispatcher what had happened and they said they would investigate why James Smith wanted the check. My wife called later and the office told my wife that the $150 I wrote the guy was my TIP I had given to James. We told them repeatedly it was not a tip and that I would NEVER tip someone $150 but they believed James and not me. We will NEVER use this company again and I am warning everyone else not to do business with this corrupt company.
Very unorganized and unprofessional! Set up a time for work to be done a week in advance (I took off work to be there to give them access to the house), when it came time for the appointment they were a “no call, no show”. I finally got in touch with them and they said they had emergency work to do that morning and would call me later that day to set up another time to come out and do the work. Once again no call later that day like they told me they would. I’m fine with people needing to reschedule and work around things, but it’s not ok to say you’re going to do something and then not do it. I was even willing to give them a 2nd chance to reschedule, but once again they didn’t follow through with their word. In their defense, they did eventually call me back a few days later to try and reschedule. However, at that point they had lost all professional credibility in my point of view. People are welcome to try them as a service, but beware that their reputation is not spotless and they may not show up.
First off, I called in the early morning and asked them if they thought my leaking was plumbing or otherwise. They said they'd get back to me in a little bit once they talked to Ray. About 5 hours later, I called back and she said she completely forgot to ask about it and he was about to leave. Very unprofessional. Then, I scheduled an appt and I called an hour after they were supposed to be there and apparently there was an emergency problem and they wouldn't be there for hours. Couldn't have bothered to just call and let me know? So, I rescheduled for the next day and they couldn't give me a time. About 3pm, they called and said they were 'swamped' and would come tomorrow. So, my appt wasn't important, but others were? I finally just canceled and called someone else to come. Just a completely unprofessional experience, overall. Only used them because my warranty company scheduled them and I think they thought less of us as customers because of that. Would NOT recommend.
We had a septic backup which caused a stoppage and leak at the fitting where the sewer pipe left the inside of the house and traveled downward to the septic tank thru the brick wall. We got the blockage cleared but could do nothing with the leak after breaking the cemented area around it to assess the issue. I was able to divert the leak to a bucket and called Ray. Ray himself and one of his guys showed up, assessed the situation, formed a plan of attack and provided a spot on estimate of the repair cost. The technician did a bang-up job of fixing the pipes which had not been installed correctly to begin with. Long story short, the results are; leak is gone, cleanup is almost complete and the whole job looks as professional as it should. Kudos to Ray and his team for a super fast response and a top notch job to last the life of the house. Call with confidence that they will get the job done! Thanks guys!
They sent two kids who knew very little about septic systems. The removed the lid and had someone pump out the tank. They were supposed to work on the baffle but couldn't so they closed it back up and filled the holes they dug but left me with a leaking septic tank after the dug out the fill that was in the tank wall. I called and spoke with Fred. All he did was argue and state it wasn't their fault then started screaming at me and hung up the phone. To this point he will not fix the damage Rays Plumbing caused. I wouldn't have put one star on this but I had too to get it to post!
Pathetic customer service! Called on Wednesday to schedule a service call. Was told they would be here Friday but the lady couldn't give me a time window. Said they would call 30 mins prior arriving. My wife confirmed the appt. On Thursday and they gave us a time of 930-1000. Never showed. Called the office and was told they would still make it today and would call me back. No call no show. Shout out to METRO Plumbing for making out to my residence 2 times where Ray's couldn't make it once and fixed my issues same day. Would never recommend this company.
On my way out the door at 6:15 a.m., I knew I had a BIG problem. Water on my garage floor turned out to be a broken water main that was leaking directly onto the foundation of my house. By 8:00, Ray's was on the scene and handling business. By noon, not only was the problem solved but you could barely even tell he had to dig up the entire flower bed! For a single mom, what started out as an overwhelming problem was handled quickly and efficiently, I didn't even have to miss work. I will always recommend Ray's Plumbing!
I scheduled Ray's Plumbing to install a riser for our septic tank and to have them pump it. We recently moved into our house and we were pretty sure that the tank had never been pumped. Two guys showed up right on time and quickly found the tank. They dug it up and installed the riser in about an hour. About 3 hours later, two different guys showed up and pumped out the tank. They were done in about 20 minutes. Everyone worked very hard and efficiently! I will definitely use Ray's Plumbing again.
I found out my kitchen drain was clogged on Christmas morning. I spent 4 hours and made 3 trips to the store before finally calling the professionals. I thought the day after Christmas would be either an off day or a super-busy one, but they arrived within 30 minutes and had everything cleared in an hour. Amazing service, great price and unbeatable customer service. Ray has always been (and will continue to be!) my first call for my plumbing needs for over 12 years!
Absolute best! I had a bigger corporate plumber come by that quoted me repairing two leaky faucets and a toilet at $1700 estimated to be a four-hour long repair. Something wasn't right. I called Ray's Plumbing, and he showed up the next day, on time and fixed my issue for $250 and it took him about 45 minutes from start to finish. Honest and fantastic, I wouldn't hesitate to call Ray's Plumbing for my future needs.
