We were completely grateful for Travis! He was so informative and helpful in every single way possible. He was one of the best plumbers I have ever dealt with! He took time to talk to us and make us understand everything. Highly suggest and recommend him!! Very very pleased!
Amanda came to our house quickly. She was extremely personable, efficient, and informative. She knew exactly what needed to happen and helped us understand what to look for in case we have future leaks.
Jacob Newman and Doug Hurst came on short notice, quickly diagnosed the issue with my heating unit during a cold snap, and had it fixed before it got dark. They were patient and thorough and had great attention to detail. Overall great work and great customer service!
Called them on Sat Oct 26th 2024 for sewer backing up in house. They charged me 300.00 to run a camera and said I needed my tank pumped. Said they could come out on Mon the 28th and do it. Called Monday to confirm and after 2 hrs and 3 phone calls later they tell me they are not licensed in my area to pump tanks. Wasted a day waiting on them. Missed a day at work and can't get Noone out today. Very unprofessional
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING !They are Horrible! They will rip you off. MY 89 year old Dad paid $ 355.00 for nothing . Drain was clogged and they quit working on it after five minutes and said it needed all the pipes replaced. Roto Rooter has unclogged it before with no problem but they weren't available that day. Look at all the other bad reviews and just don't use them . I can't believe they are in business.
Called them to replace 3 valves in laundry room. Guy replaced 2 without an issue but the third broke as he was working on it. Decided to fix it he needed to cut the pipe. After doing so he realized he cut the threads to it and had nothing to rethread it or cap it. So we were without water for over 8hrs while he asked around to see how to fix it cause in his mind all that could be done was fully replacing whole pipe which he said though be a few grand. Finally he was told of a fix and he did it. Next morning the fix was leaking. We called again and they sent another tech. And he said the guy that was sent before was a newbie and on a short leash. Said valve was too tight and broke in back so he replaced it. Said we should no longer have an issue. Very next morning we noticed it was still leaking this time not as much but still a leak nonetheless. FaceTime a senior technician one of two that worked there apparently and the guy said the valve just wasn't put on tight enough so he tightened it and laughed was here maybe a few seconds didn't really look at it much. Very next day it was leaking again the same senior technician came, and this time took the valve off and saw the actual problems and redid the entire thing from scratch the way that it should've been done in the first place. He said he apologized that he didn't do it in the first place after that the problem was finally fixed later we got a call, offering to give us a partial refund for all the trouble that we went through and in hopes that we would change a review we left on Google. They also asked for a chance to redeem themselves funny enough we were having a leak in our shower so we said they could come on over and look at it and see if they couldn't possibly redeem themselves with that particular job two guys came this time a senior technician, the other one and a master technician both looked at it and quoted a lot of money to fix any form of the issue though one gave us sub Band-Aid fix which thankfully worked. The guy apologized for the previous job and hoped that by them coming speedily and giving us all options even though they didn't do anything that that was enough of redemption to see that they weren't all bad, they also promised that our partial refund was still on its way and would be returned to our card within the week. Wanted to redeem themselves. It's now been 3wks and no refund... we called yesterday asking where it is and that we thought this was part of their redemption. Not to mention they were the ones to offer it in first place. They said they been busy and we'll see it in a couple weeks... guess we'll see. I'll update when I know and if worth it grant more stars but we'll see.
Amanda was great when she came by to bid the job (water heater replacement), and spotted several other problems we were unaware of. She was very knowledgeable and professional. Unfortunately, the crew who did the actual work were not. We were given a window of 1:00 pm-6:00 pm, which was cancelled for the day at 4:30 pm on the day of, citing another job that took longer than expected. Unfortunate, but forgiveable. Rescheduled for 8:00 am - 1:00 pm the next day. Didn't show up until nearly 11:00, and when they did, they were actively and visibly, shall we say, incapacitated. Shut off our water immediately, installed a valve, then went shopping for parts half an hour away. Arrived with no batteries in their flashlights, no hose to drain the old water heater, no dolly to remove the old water heater. They were originally scheduled to redo some plumbing under our kitchen sink, but after nearly six hours without water, and them still not having all the necessary parts, we finally asked them to complete the water heater installation and cancelled the sink work. After the wonderful initial interaction with Amanda, we were sorely disappointed, and will not be using this company again.
I am extremely disappointed with HEP Inc. We originally had a service plumber, Charles Roberts, come out to assess our water pressure issues. He gave us an exact quote of $1,195 for parts, labor, and maintenance. We trusted this estimate, waited three days, and paid the 50% down payment as requested. Today, a week later, a different plumber named Pete arrived to do the work. Within minutes, he informed us it would be an additional $800 because the first technician "didn't look closely enough." Increasing a quote by nearly 70% after taking a deposit is unacceptable. Our time has been wasted, and our patience is gone. We will be taking our business elsewhere. Thanks for nothing, HEP. UPDATE: Immediately after posting this, a representative from HEP inc. called. They offered to honor the original $1,195 price and claimed they weren't sure where the "confusion" came from. We declined. The trust is broken, and we’ve requested our deposit back.
DO NO CALL TO HAVE THEM SERVICE PLUMBING IN BLUE RIDGE. That was a terrible experience. Reason for calling: No hot water in showers. Saturday: I called at 8:15am to have them come out for a service. Said they’d come out from 1-6pm. 3pm they call to let me know a plumber called out sick and they won’t be able to make it until tomorrow. Thought they were big enough they could pick it up elsewhere. We got a house full of folks needing to shower. Agreed they’d have someone dispatch at 8am the next day. 9:15 *I called them*, still hadn’t dispatched. Dispatching in 30. Where from? Just north of Chattanooga…2 hours away. Nope. Cancel. This company definitely shouldn’t be servicing Blue Ridge. Kailee and Jenni were super pleasant and just stuck between a rock in a hard place. There’s no way they’re not purchasing all of these reviews. Also, their AI agent is crap. -10 stars. Huge inconvenience. Do not recommend.
Impressive! I had been putting off replacing my outdoor faucets for five years and had even called a different plumber prior to this who just told me there wasn't anything he could really do. HEP had someone come the day before (Paul) who did an excellent job explaining what they would need to do to install frost resistant faucets and how much it would cost. I felt the price was reasonable and fair. They were able to schedule someone for the next morning. Garrett and Victor showed up on time, they were extremely respectful and friendly, worked quickly, quietly and cleaned up when they were done. They had to cut through a concrete and wood wall and did it flawlessly. The website is easily laid out, and the office staff did a fantastic job scheduling and taking my payment. Everyone I talked with was very professional. I'm so thankful to have found a great company to work with.
I've used this company multiple times and have spent over 20k with miltiple plumbing services. Found out the filtration system i bought in January was the wrong one, and we were told we needed and purchased. Sold a system that doesn't fix our water issues and wasnt what we agreed on. 6 months, 4 service visits with 3 of them having every element in my water heater being replaced because they were already destroyed/corrided and falling apart. Each visit got new elements had to be replaced each trip. Plus Thermostats, and an anion rod replaced, and last visit was 3 days ago with all new replacements, and now no hot water again. Can't even get a supervisor to call me when asked. I used to think this company was decent, but now id stay away from them. Horrible customer service.
Scheduled an appointment to have our seasonal maintenance done as well as a float switch installed. Our technician Jacob Newman, arrived first thing this morning. Not only did he complete the work that he was scheduled to do, he asked if we had been experiencing higher than normal electric bills. I told him we had! He then brought to my attention that the thermostat was not working properly and was stuck in emergency heat. He then gave me a quote on a new one and got Right to work installing it. Jacob was very professional, very friendly, knowledgeable and an all-around great guy! He is welcome in our home anytime! We have used HEP for HVAC, plumbing and roofing so far and have been very pleased. We will continue to use them in the future! Thanks Jacob and HEP!!
We used them for several years and the turnover became an issue and they were not thorough in repairs and kept sending a different person out who would find something else wrong and charge more. The latest was an issue they should have identified ages ago and tried to charage us $1000 more than the standard price for the service. We had just spent over $3000 for plumbing pipe leak repairs. Just had a different plumbing service out who showed us pictures wehre they did not seal the new pipes and we have a new leak and the valve was not placed correctly, less than two months after we were charge $3000 plus for repairs! Such a disappointment, and we were loyalty members.
called HEP this morning to set up a appointment to get a sink hooked up....they set up a tech to come out and he showed up about 1:30 which was good, I had already been told there would be a $68 trip charge which was fine also plus what it would cost in labor and parts. the sink was already mounted with supply lines connected so all he had to do was add some couplers and a couple of short supply lines. He said the total would be $193.00!!! $68 trip fee plus $120 to hook up 2 supply lines!! y'all got me for $68 but I'll be DAMNED if I pay $120 to hook 2 supply lines up!! HEP is on the way alright!! on the way to RIP YOU OFF!!!!! Never again HEP
Yes I contacted HEP for a heat pump problem. After two visits to find out what was wrong. And three visits where they did not show up to fix the problem. We live in Knoxville the duplex where the heat pump was to be worked on is in Etowah. A one hour drive each way. We decided to go with another company we paid 1210 dollars up front which we were told was refundable. They said it would take ten days or less its been sixteen days and no one will respond to our calls run from this company unless you like giving money away. This is without a doubt the worst experience we have had with a company. Im 62 years old so I have had a few.
