I called in the morning after my furnace had gone out and would not restart after a power outage . The lady that I spoke to, Katie, was able to get me scheduled right away and stayed in touch with me to let me know when the technician would get to my home . Very pleasant to talk with. The technician, Garrett, showed up on time and was extremely professional. After diagnosing the problem and having to go get a new motherboard, he installed the new part and everything worked great. He took extra time to service the unit while he was here. I have nothing but good things to say about this experience with Westland Heating and Cooling.

Jared was quick with his diagnosis and we have scheduled to have the problem fixed 3 days after it was diagnosed and that is great. Jonathan and Alex showed up as scheduled and were able to diagnose all of the issues with the furnaces. They were able to replace many of the parts that needed replaced and they even cleaned out mud bobber nests which caused much of the issues. Great group of people with competitive pricing and responsive staff.

I called Westland because my tenant's cooling unit stopped working during possibly the hottest week of the year. I called Westland on a Friday, and asked to have a technician come out asap to look at the unit. I was glad that they did have someone come out on a Friday evening. I paid $150 for this service call. I was informed of the problem, and that the unit was still under warranty. I called the manufacturer of the unit, Friedrich, who eventually authorized Westland to do the repair under the warranty. Westland made an appointment with my tenant. This all took several days. I finally heard back from Westland, who said that they wouldn't do the repair, because they hadn't installed the unit. Friedrich was willing to pay them to repair the unit, but Westland wouldn't do the work, after they had collected a $150 service fee from me. Maybe they could have told me on my initial call to them that they only service units they install. I asked them for a refund, because I didn't receive any value for my $150, and incurred lost time and expense. Their office manager, Debbie, sent me an email stating that she had been on vacation, and would look into this and get back to me. I haven't heard another peep from Westland. Even after I followed up with a few more emails asking Debbie if they were investigating this matter, if I would be refunded, and even letting them know I was planning on telling yelp my story. It seems that Westland, or Debbie, doesn't care. The hvac guy who eventually did the repair, couldn't understand Westland's policy, since he repairs and installs units from many manufacturers. I was shocked they wouldn't refund my $150, after I wasted so much time and some money, counting on them to repair this unit. $150 for a happy customer and to avoid a bad review seems worth it to me.

TERRIBLE! robbery! Scheduled appointment to look at pool heater, they canceled day of appointment, ( short staffed they said) rescheduled for 3 days later. Young man came out took front panel off turned gas on looked at error code, asked me if I had the service manual. ( mind you I already did all this and told them over phone the error code and what the book said it meant) told me what I already knew, said he would have to look up part and labor cost and would call me tomorrow with that. He only put 2 of 6 screws in the panel, left the gas turned on. Said I owed him 97 dollars, couldn't give me a receipt would email it to me! NEVER GOT ONE! next day girl calls and tells me they can fix it in 7-10 days and it will cost an additional 286 dollars, I also looked up the part, which I paid 24 dollars for. So I asked how much is the part? She didn't know! So I said it's 24 dollars so how much is labor. 60- 90 dollars an hour she said! So I said which is it 60 or 90 , she didn't know. So I say Well is it gonna take him 3 -4 hours? To put this in, She said I don't know! I asked where did you get the almost 300 dollars additional cost ? mind you I just paid 97$ yepp. She didn't know ! So they wanted to charge me almost 400 dollars for a 24 dollar part, which took me 15 min. To replace after reading manual and a 2 minute tube video. NOTHING BUT RIPP OFFS! DO NOT CALL THEM FOR ANYTHING !

Timely, efficient, and communicated well. Every person I met from the initial phone call, property survey, and installation was very kind. My mini-split was installed in less than 6 hours. Would recommend! Update: Had Westland come out to fix a leaking bibb on the front of my house and had another 5-star experience. Issac was great! Update 1/23/25: Dennis came out to look at a leaking pipe. He was friendly and fixed the issue within 2 hours. Nice work! Update 3/18/25: Dennis and Darli came out to fix an issue with our washing machine. Very efficient and a job well done! Update 10/8/25: Jermaine came out to snake my main line. He was kind, efficient, and very informative. He answered a lot of my questions and educated me about the problem we were having in our home. 5 stars yet again! Update 4/29/26: Chris and Nick came out to jet and snake the main line. They got right to work and were both very nice. They explained the problem very clearly and showed us the work they did via camera. Westland does not miss! 5 stars again!

I had the pleasure of meeting Beau for the first time yesterday, and he made an immediate positive impression. I usually request the same technicians because I value building rapport and working with people who understand the needs of our homes. Since I also help manage my mother’s household, it is especially important to me that she feels comfortable with anyone providing service in her home. Beau quickly earned that trust through his professionalism, courtesy, and respectful approach. Although my usual technicians were unavailable this time, Beau exceeded my expectations in every way. He was punctual, respectful of my home, and did an excellent job explaining potential HVAC issues in a way that was clear and easy to understand. That combination of technical skill, professionalism, and customer care is exactly what I look for in a service technician. Beau has absolutely earned a place on my preferred list, and I would confidently recommend him to anyone in need of HVAC service.

The entire team at Westland were amazing. From my first visit by Christian to the installation by Chad and Ryan, they were kind, professional and a pleasure to work with. They pointed out areas of concern from the previous installation, including the fact that my previous furnace of 22 years wasn’t properly grounded, and made all the necessary repairs. I not only have a new furnace, I have peace of mind knowing my family is safe thanks to their attention to detail and high quality workmanship. Call Westland. (You can thank me later) P.S. loved that they rolled out the red carpet to keep floors clean. They are very respectful and left my home cleaner than when they arrived.

I used Westland to replace my HVAC system in the house. Chris was my sales rep and did a great job to explain what system I would need, the service provided by his company, and how payment would work. Further he kept in touch to schedule which was done in a very timely manner. I also want to give a shout out to Amanda, who I think is the Office Manager. She was patient to address my questions. On install day, the crew was great and got everything done in one day. So far everything is running fine. This company is an authorized dealer for Trane. I would highly recommend for any HVAC services.

I had Westland replace my 37 year old furnace and air conditioning system after talking with 2 other companies. The installers, Zack and Ryan were excellent. They explained everything thoroughly during the install, answered all my questions, were prompt, professional and cleaned up the site. I’ve been impressed with Westland’s service in the past and assume they will continue. Zack walked me through use of the new app- enabled thermostat and gave me tips on using it. It took less than a day and 1/2 to complete the job. The price was fair for the product. Highly recommend.

When we had to call Westland for our AC I was a little annoyed and Jonathan from the after hour shift called to say he was on his way I was just waiting for him to say I needed this and that for my AC but Jonathan was wonderful and knowledgeable and easy to have in my home. He asked me for something to put on my carpet so when he got out of my crawl space he wouldn't get my carpet dirty. Just really respectful and recommended furnace filters for us. Just a great experience for a repair person.

Westland workers were knowledgeable and courteous. Highly recommend Westland to anyone. Jon was training Andy. Both were very professional and kept me informed of what they were doing, why do it, and the benefits and risks of completing or declining said work. Also gave helpful tips on how to keep our system working at top efficiency. They advised me to watch several parts beginning to show some wear (thermostat) and recommended future replacement. Excellent experience all around.

This company was very fast, friendly and customer oriented. I called in the am and they said they would have someone out that same day probably in evening and I said great as our air went out and I knew it was gonna be a hot one this weekend so same day was awesome I truly didn't care what time. They called about an hour later and asked if they could come in 20 minutes! Heck yes they can! The guy came was super friendly informative and fixed the problem. Yay, thank you so much.

Randi Ellis Westland destroyed the unit.  The interior was bent, obviously  screws were missing.  If you didn't know how to repair the unit you shouldn't have taken the job.  Or at least youtubed a video to learn. That unit is 1.5 years old, your company Westland was the first and only people to service it.  Not only did you make it impossible for me to utilize the warranty You charged me 450 to basically cause more damage. I will make sure I do not recommend your company.
