The 2 guys that came out to my Mom's home, was polite, courteous, very careful and understood the problem. Her bathroom sink had backed up and the pipe needed to be rodded out. My 83 year old mom asked questions and they were very polite and answered all. They assured her that it would be fix and gave her ease of mind.

We really appreciated the service we received from Roto Rooter. We noticed a leak in our ceiling at 8:30 pm and by 10 pm, the tech, Karim, was there inspecting it. He made sure no more water would leak for the night and then came back early the next day and fixed it. Karim was amazing! He explained everything to us and was friendly and fast! We also received a call from a Roto Rooter supervisor who was checking in, making sure everything was ok. And it cost way less than we expected. I’m glad we went with Roto Rooter, there’s a reason they’ve been around as long as they have! Thank you!

The sink was clogged in the morning and our son called Roto. Yuri came to the rescue! He was clean, professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely thorough. Thank you, Yuri! We are grateful for your expertise and your quality service!

Do yourself a favor and call the Scottish Plumber. $99 opens your drain and scopes. These con-artist wrote my condo up as a commercial unit (2 unit building) screwed me on the guarantee for $850. They wont return my calls. Run away. I wish I could leave no stars.

Called for an emergency pipe that was spewing out water in our condo. First person I spoke to said someone would be out within an hour... 4 hours later no one ever came so we called to cancel and the lady hung up on me

This has been the absolute worst customer service and worst company I’ve ever dealt with stay far away if you want prompt service with honest timing. I called on Friday to have an appointment between a 10 and 12 PM timeframe. I called at 12:30 as no one showed up the following day and they told me I was next in line and that someone would be there within the hour. This happened for the next eight hours straight where I was being told that someone would be there within the next hour. At 8 PM I was called and said that their employee/technician was finishing up his shift and there was no time for me to have service that day and they would schedule me at 7 AM the next day Sunday morning. 7 AM the next morning came around and no one showed up. I was told that someone would be there around 11 or 12 AM. Eventually at around 12:30 I called once again and said that the technician was on his way and he would be there in 45 minutes. I waited longer than 45 minutes so then I called back once again at 2 PM and they told me that supposedly they’re only technician with the only equipment was having difficulties and supposedly had an accident on his way to my house. They canceled on me once again, there was no other technician available that day and asked me if I wanted to reschedule even though I had already been waiting for the last almost 36 hours. Again, please stay far away. I’m so glad I canceled and got a different company who was very prompt on timing even in severe weather conditions. Once again, worst experience of my life absolutely do not call this company if you need any services.

If I could rate zero stars, I would. I called roto-rooter because I was having sewage back up a basement drain and could not reach our regular plumber on a late Saturday night. They came out Sunday morning, told my my main line was clogged, allegedly cleared it (less than 10 minutes) but then problem was not fixed. At my husband's prompting, they checked the ejector pump and unclogged it. Charged me $925 and the problem was still only temporarily fixed. Quoted $2300 to replace the ejector pump PLUS $7300 to "fix the main". I declined and waited for Monday. My regular plumber came out and replaced the ejector pump for less than half the rotorooter price and established that the main line was NEVER clogged and did not need any additional work. I was entirely ripped off and I am ashamed that I even called rotorooter, knowing their reputation but I was panicked (and they took full advantage of that.) $925 stupid tax. How is this company allowed to exist? DO NOT CALL THEM NO MATTER WHAT. Unethical, shameless, rotten to the core.

Outstanding Service from Sean at Roto-Rooter From the moment Sean arrived, I knew I was in good hands. He was professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He explained the issue with my toilet in clear terms and walked me through each step of the repair, which I appreciated because I felt informed and confident throughout the process. Sean’s workmanship was exceptional. He diagnosed the root cause quickly, uncloged my toilet. What impressed me most was his attention to detail and his commitment to doing the job right the first time, which gave me peace of mind that the problem wouldn’t come back. Beyond his technical skills, Sean was courteous, respectful of my home, and patient in answering all my questions. He even offered a few maintenance tips to help prevent future issues, which I found genuinely valuable. If you’re looking for reliable, top-tier service from a true professional, Sean at Roto-Rooter is the person to call. Five stars all around—thank you for restoring normalcy to our home life!

This place provides excellent service. They were prompt, knowledgeable and very nice. They explained everything they were doing from beginning to end. Called them last night because my water softener went out but because it was so late I got an appointment for today between 8-12. I was called around 8:30 to provide me with some updated information and then they called again around 10:30 to let me know a technician was in the way. He arrived like fifteen minutes later, he just finished a customer that lived close to me. Once he saw my old softener, he realized he would need help and got someone over right away. They removed the old and allowed me to clean before putting in the new softener. I was told how to use the softener as well as how to maintain it- like I said they explained everything from beginning to end, step by step. I highly recommend this company. Oh, it was also a very reasonable price for my new water softener.

DONT USE! My sump pump stopped working & we called them. They said someone would be out within 2 hours. As we are using 3 shop vacs & carrying buckets of water out & the basement continues to flood, they send a "field supervisor" out who says, "well, bad news, I'm not a plumber. I can't fix your problem. I'm here to see if we can file a claim with your insurance". What?!? where are the priorities?? Do you think maybe we could get the plumber out first to maybe fix the sump pump?? Well, he says he "has no clue when the plumber can come". I told him to leave & he proceeds to tell me how I'm completely wrong & don't know what I'm doing. I call rotorooter dispatch back & they say they aren't sure when they can send a plumber but just so I know, it will be $1200 to replace the sump pump! What!? That's weird bc the other plumber I called while waiting for you guys is on his way & is going to charge me $600. What scum.

I was a bit irritated. I had a 12-4 window for them to come out on the first day of my vacation. The dispatchers and I called back and forth and the plumber and he kept getting later and later. At 10pm, I canceled the service---crappy 1st day of vacation! The next day, a plumber arrived on time. He cleared a 2" drain line for us. The most impressive part was that he rodded it 5-6 time with progressively more aggressive rods and tips. He didn't just clear it for the water to go down, he made sure that the pipe was super clear. He filled the ejector pit 6-7 times to ensure it was clear too. Despite wasting the first day of my vacation, I am overall happy with the service. It was expensive $550.00 to rod a drain, but I am confident it wont clog again.

Roto-Rooter did not live up to its advertising. It was very difficult trying to get a plumber dispatched same day. Though I was placed on a 2-hour window schedule for service, It took over 5 hours and numerous calls from me before I was told no one was coming. Communications were unacceptable leading up to the plumber finally coming the next day. Once “Joe” the plumber was here, he was very knowledgeable, patient, answered all my questions and provided maintenance tips/suggestions to help prevent future problems. The direct experience was much more professional than the short-tempered treatment I received from dispatch the day of service and I’m glad “Joe” was much more pleasant to work with. I would recommend him without hesitation.

I had a terrible experience with Roto-Rooter. I called to request an estimate, and they clearly told me that if I didn’t accept the quote, I would only have to pay $79 for the visit. However, when the plumber called me, he said something completely different — that if he came out and I didn’t accept the estimate, I would be charged $470. This is extremely misleading and feels like a scam. This kind of inconsistency and lack of transparency is unacceptable. Customers should not be told one price on the phone and then threatened with a completely different and much higher fee later. I do NOT recommend this company to anyone. Be very careful before calling them.

I had a great experience with the team from Roto-Rooter. The inspection and service were handled professionally from start to finish, and everything was explained clearly along the way. Jason Colon, the field supervisor, was knowledgeable, thorough, and made sure the process was smooth and well-organized. Eddie Wiggins, the rod tech, did an excellent job as well—efficient, detail-oriented, and respectful of the space. Both took the time to answer my questions and made me feel confident in the work being done. I really appreciate their professionalism and would highly recommend this team.

Had an issue with sub pump. He came, He glanced less the 2 minutes and quoted $555 for labor and $250 for pump. We don't repair he said. It's like why bother coming. So i decided I wasn't going to pay that ridiculous amount. I went to my sump pump removed it. Took 5 minutes. Went to Home Depot and they should me the one I needed. It was only $89 which roto rooter wanted to charge $259. It took me less then 10 minutes to put back and had the sump pump going in no time. They wanted $555 for labor which only took less then 10 minutes to install. RIPP OFFFFF
