I needed a gas valve, about 3 inches of line, a line cap, a T, and a union replaced to get our heat turned back on. I explained that money was tight, but I was still quoted nearly $1,000 for about $60 worth of parts, plus almost $500 for a leak test just to verify the work. Afterward, I called another company, and they only charge $50 for the leak test and $150 for the entire repair. There was nowhere near 10 feet of repairs needed—the plumber who actually fixed it used penetrating spray and removed the old parts easily. *Update* After speaking with the manager at Roto-Rooter, I was told they plan to adjust their leak-testing prices. They also assured me that the estimate I received represented the absolute worst-case scenario, and that the actual price could end up being lower.

I called to make an appointment to have the footer tiles around my home inspected with a camera. It took 3 days for the individual to call me back to schedule. We scheduled for the next afternoon. He did not show up at the appointed time. I gave 30 minutes grace and then called the main number. I was told he was still on his previous job, and they had sent him a text to let me know an ETA. I was never contacted. I called the next day and let them know this. The individual on the phone tried to call said tech again, and when he did not answer, she said she left a message for his manager. That was 4 days ago, and still no call. Needless to say, I have an appointment with another company. From start to finish, my experience with Medina Roto Rooter was unprofessional and extremely disappointing.

Since my partner (Maxwell) and their review didn’t explain some things, I’ll throw my hat into the ring, too. It wasn’t just laziness on the part of the plumbers, it was gaslighting, plain and simple. I wasn’t even the one who paid for it, and even I felt ripped off. When you’re spending 200 dollars on someone simply bringing a snake and only getting someone painfully pounding it down the drain a couple times, without a camera, it was bad enough. What happened after was far more egregious. Since, assumedly, they thought we didn’t have anyone to back us up over it, they made up a story about there being a “sewer slump”, and that they needed further investigation (more money, near $900 to even get a whiff of a solution. They also said they couldn’t do anything further because of the lot owners denying it (so which is it?). This is relevant later. After they left—because I’m definitely not helping in forking over nearly a thousand dollars on a maybe—I contacted my family. My mother (bless her) was told a completely different story when she contacted them, they never mentioned a “sewer slump”, and when she asked our lot owners herself about Roto Rooter contacting them, they did not. Stepdad comes over, and he’s able to fix it himself near immediately. It was a clog, and that was all.

I had John M come out and replaced a plastic hot water line from the basement to the dishwasher that had broken, spewing water everywhere at 5am!!. Found their 24hr service. Called at 7am and he was here around 10:10. Called to let me know he was on his way, quoted a price before doing the work, polite professional, awesome plumbing experience. (he just made me feel he cared and put me at ease) Guess who is coming out to replace my dishwasher next week?!?! I scheduled him immediately. Highly recommend their services. Job well done!! 12/1/26 Had John back out and installed a new dish washer. Another great job. Reasonably priced and I got an additional $25 off with a coupon he left me the last time. Job well done!! I'd give a 10 star if I could!!

Joe was pleasantly cordial & extremely professional. After listening to our issues that led us to calling his company. He worked swiftly & diligently to rectify the draining problems in our basement. All the while explaining everything to us what he was doing in great detail that we could understand & comprehend. 5 stars hands down forOutstanding service & very Professional demeanor. We were all extremely impressed with Joe's skills & detailed knowledge of his trade. First class act, first class service all the way! It doesn't get any better than that😎

Roto-Rooter responded to our need in a timely manner. The Roto-Rooter technician was courteous and professional. The technician diagnosed the problem and clearly explained repair options. Although the technician did not have the sump pump on the first visit, the technician created a temporary solution so no additional flooding would occur. The technician was back the next day with the new sump pump. My spouse and I were grateful for that kind of service.

The technician, Joseph Farkasofsky was excellent. He did a wonderful job installing the water softener, toilet, shower repair and shut off valves, and added an additional part for the water heater. His copper plumbing work was outstanding! He takes great pride in his work. He also did basement drain clean-out and downspouts clean out around the house. He had a great personality and did a great job of clean up after all the jobs were complete.

This is the only company that would come when I had an emergency on a Saturday afternoon. Other companies said they could come after the weekend, but I did not want to wait with the overflowing toilet in the basement until the weekend was over. Roto-Rooter was at my home withing the hour after I called and had the mess cleaned up and sanitized in a couple days.

We have used Roto-Rooter many times for various house projects, and this is the only time we have not been pleased with the service technician. He was clearly distracted during the process, going outside to take personal phone calls, and leaving the front door open each time. We are used to a more professional level of service from RR.

I had a fantastic experience with Anthony and Ronnie from Roto-Rooter. They arrived on time, assessed my issues thoroughly, and educated me on the problem. Their professionalism, friendly demeanor, and clear communication made the process smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend them for any plumbing needs!

Called Roto-Rooter to get my seating toilet cistern changed and install… Was assigned to Anthony who was an excellent tech. He really know how and what to do. He even went to the extend of cleaning up prep area and installation site really good... Five star service in and out thru out the job.

John came and removed the item that fell in our sink, quickly and efficiently. The price was good. John is extremely knowledgeable AND personable. We will be calling soon, for a new job to execute, and we will most definitely be requesting John! Thank you, John and thank you, Roto-Rooter!
