What reviewers report — the concerns
Other directories bury these. We think you should read them before you call. Every concern below comes from the reviews it cites.
Red flag
Billing accuracy and invoicing disputes: 1 reviewer was charged for 'whole hydrant replacement' when only a gasket was replaced ($308 total for 25-minute job); manager eventually corrected the error
Cited in 1 of the 192 reviews we analyzed.
Pricing significantly higher than competitors: 3 reviewers directly compare costs or express sticker shock (e.g., $308 for gasket replacement, $99 service call fee, noted as 'a bit high')
Cited in 3 of the 192 reviews we analyzed.
Service area coverage inconsistency: 1 reviewer was told a technician could come next day, then after providing address was told Rescue Air needed to verify service area—no follow-up received after one week
Cited in 1 of the 192 reviews we analyzed.
Installation quality control issue: 1 city inspector failed an AC install twice; company response pending on refund as of review date
Cited in 1 of the 192 reviews we analyzed.

The evidence — in reviewers' own words
Critical
“Update: the city inspector came and FAILED the AC install twice. Waiting for the company to respond regarding a refund to make things right.”
“I reached out for service and provided my location in the contact form. I quickly received a response from Keiri at Rescue Air and was informed a tech would be able to come out the following day. So, I provided my street address and then I was told Rescue Air needed to check if they service my area. I never heard back so I followed up at the end of the week. I received an apology and asked which days would work for …”
“The techs that come to your house are either not given the proper tools or the proper training to do their job. Someone came over to my house to perform routine maintenance, and at the end he reported that the evaporator coil had a leak. He showed me a video of one of his tools going off, indicating a leak. The cost of replacing this coil would be $5100. I thought this was strange as the AC seemed to be working …”
Positive
“I’ve used Rescue Air & Plumbing several times for a/c issues and have always had success. Their technicians are always friendly and knowledgeable. Derrick Posley helped me this time and he is so nice and knows his stuff. He explained everything he was doing before and after the work. He even got me to sign up for a membership. That’s how much I trust Rescue to do great work!”
“Dylan was excellent! He was polite, professional, and very knowledgeable. I can’t recommend Rescue Air and Plumbing enough. They also have fantastic customer service and follow up. The text feature to communicate with the scheduling staff is top notch. 5 star employees and service!”
