TJ from Peach Plumbing did a fantastic job flushing my hot water system. He went above and beyond, checking everything and even installing a water filtration system. Super professional and knowledgeable. Five stars all the way—definitely call TJ for any plumbing needs!
I’m so glad that Palette Plumbing and Peach Plumbing merged - Jordan was so awesome! Such painless process and everything was very straightforward. He explained everything clearly and got us a few extra discounts on top of what was already projected. Even ended up getting the main tankless water heater service I initially requested done for free because we took care of some other plumbing issues simultaneously. Will absolutely call Peach every time.
I could not be happier with tj's service. His knowledge, he is one of the few service providers.I have worked with in the last year. That shows a great amount of integrity and honesty. I appreciate how knowledgeable he was and the quality of the work that was done. Because of him, this company has a new customer and I will definitely be referring him. Happy new year. The barbecue sauce is at the bottom.Yeah I got twoWynn
I placed a service call with Peach Plumbing and Drain to clean my tankless hot water heater and to unclog a bathroom sink drain. The "plumber" they sent said tankless hot waters don't need cleaning and that, even though I described the fact that the sink clog (a hard brown mess)was a recurring issue, he didn't delve into the reason except to say that "maybe it was from toothpaste!" I later received a call asking if I was satisfied with my service and let them know how dissatisfied I was and why. They called back about an hour later with no explanation, but to tell me that they could send a plumber out the following week to clean the hot water heater. Now my downstairs toilet has backed up and I'm wondering if it has something to do with the way their plumber handled the sink clog. DO NOT USE PEACH PLUMBING!
I have never used their plumbing services before. However, while I was driving in Atlanta, I witnessed the large van they drive, run a car off of the road to cut them off. BEWARE!
On August 3rd, we contacted Peachtree Plumbing & Drain to fix a leaky toilet. The plumber came on August 4 and performed a partial rebuild for $300, which did not fix the leak. During that visit, the plumber indicated he would need a custom tank gasket and would order it. We own a 2001 Kohler Santa Rosa, for which parts are readily available. The plumber installed some new parts and left, asking us not to use the toilet and telling us he would return with the custom gasket and would charge us nothing for installation. The customer service representative called to schedule the second visit and sought to charge us $100 for that visit. We informed her that the plumber told us there would be no charge for further service. The plumber visited for follow-up without the custom part and instead installed a separate gasket that did not seal to the tank, and threw out the previous part. The toilet leaked worse than before and was rendered unusable for the next five days. After that second visit, the owner of Peach Plumbing & Drain spoke to us vowing to fix the problem. We did not see another customer service representative for three days after that phone call. The toilet was unusable still. When that plumber appeared this afternoon, he indicated that because our toilet was old, that it was not fixable without the custom part. He also indicated he still had not ordered the custom part - but if we wanted, he would glue the gasket to the tank, which, he acknowledged, was still unlikely to stop the leak. He recommended we replace the entire toilet, then returned to his car outside. While he was outside, I ordered the correct part online for $6.00. Today is Monday 8/9/2021; the part will arrive 8/14/2021. The plumber re-entered our home one last time to reiterate the unfixability of the toilet without that part. He advised us again to buy an entirely new toilet and that once we did that we could schedule a time for Peach Plumbing & Drain to install it We informed him that we had ordered the right part while he was waiting outside in his car. We also informed him when the part would arrive. He said "great. It sounds like everything is taken care of," did not offer to return to install it, and left. From top to bottom, this was the worst quality service we ever received for any home-related service. They failed to fix a problem but instead worsened it. It took them multiple trips, each one delaying a solution and stretching out the problem. They repeatedly attempted to charge us more money or require work that wasn't required. Then they left - even when we had the part and therefore the solution in-hand - and offered no additional support or follow-up. I took video of the work after the first visit. It is amazing to me that the toilet was left in that condition.
Can't say enough about the folks at Peach Plumbing and Drain. I recently had a water shutoff valve break (manufacturers defect) and water was spewing into my crawlspace at 120 psi. We were able to shut off the main and then called Peach Plumbing and Drain. They had someone at out home in about 15 minutes. Unbelievable response. Our plumber, Jordan, fixed the problem and provided some advice on the situation as he saw it and what our various options were to solve the immediate problem and a few options to help in the future should another valve break or just a plain old water leak. There was no pressure to take one option over another but I ended up adding a Moen Flow Meter to the main line and now have leak detection, auto shutoff should a pipe ever burst again anywhere in the house, a monitor of daily and weekly water usage by type (faucet, toilet, shower, appliance, etc.) and now see how much water each shower of bath actually use. I can also track my water consumption and determine if I'm being billed based upon actual water use or whether the city is just estimating my usage. I'm leaning to the later as my bill is the same month after month down to the penny. I find that odd. Now, I can't wait to start gathering data. Lastly, we were wanting to replace our 18 year old garbage disposal with something newer and a bit more powerful. Jordan installed that as well the following day after we inquired about it while he was fixing the initial problem. Now I have a more powerful disposal and it is much quieter and drains faster. Just though I would also mention that I have had Peach Plumbing and Drain also install a hot water heater, a toilet, an additional hot water device to keep the water hot when the tanks start running low, a recirculating pump to keep the water hot at all faucets in the house regardless of distance from the hot water source, and a few other miscellaneous repairs over the past several years. They never fail to impress. If ever in need of a "master" plumber, I highly recommend both Jordan and Peach Plumbing and Drain.
*****REVIEW UPDATE******* Was contacted by owner for more details on this service call. Indicated corporate changes in the work to increase training and communications. Full refund of amount paid was returned. Effort to "make things right" was exceptional. ************************* I usually do small repair jobs for my daughter but she had a leaky shower head she could not stop due to bad Tempress II cartridge in control valve. I could not help immediately so she called Peach. The technician was very nice and polite. He secured the water to the entire house at the meter and started to search for a repair cartridge. After almost 2 hours of searching online he said this was a rare cartridge and he could not find one. He said in the mean time in order to stop the leak and restore water service to the rest of the house he would have to cut and cap the water service to the shower valve. Gave 2 options, remove tile around shower valve or cut hole in den wall (raised wood paneling!) to cut/cap service lines. Daughter wisely said stop as she wanted second opinion. Technician charged her $450 which he said was time spent looking for part. She got Dad (me) to take a look for second opinion. I discovered supply cutoffs on this valve (see attached photo) and secured water in 2 seconds. No shower demo or hole in den wall required ! I also looked at the cartridge (attached photo)and within 5 minutes found one on amazon and several other plumbing supply houses. Had one overnighted and within 20 minutes repair was finished and no more leak. By the way the technician quoted a additional $600 if he was to find/install cartridge ! In plumbing (as in medicine) sometimes you need a second opinion. Another piece of advice for the Peach technician, even if he did not know how to cut the service at the valve, he could have put an inexpensive cut off valve in place of the shower head to stop the leak while waiting on the replacement part. Considering ripping open walls to cap off service lines was just malpractice. Need to retake "Plumbing 101"
TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE - extravagant prices for sloppy work. I wish I could post photos to this review to really showcase the quality of work. I had two projects with this company: installing a shower drain ($5k) and installing a kitchen faucet ($1k). I'm honestly embarrassed to admit I paid those prices. First project: I had Peach Plumbing install a shower drain (a difficult task because they had to remove concrete). I was planning on installing a shower pan with a matching glass frame; however, the shower drain was not centered. Thus, I could not use the kit or frame I purchased after their work. I called to complain and they told me to "consult with my tile guy." They blamed the outcome on me, stating I should have told them to center it more. In addition to paying $5k, I was suppose to take my time to watch them, critique their work and direct them on how to do their job. If I had that knowledge, I wouldn't have hired a plumber in the first place. They also informed me they thought I was going to "tile the shower" . . . because that is a valid excuse to mis-place the drain. Second project: I simply wanted a kitchen faucet installed. I had my parents monitor this project because I had to work. Since I purchased a new sink, they stated I needed new plumbing for a proper fit. After they left, my parents had to immediately call them back because it was leaking. When I personally arrived to look, plumbers putty was smeared all over the sink and garbage disposal seal like it had been assembled by a 2 year old. I was absolutely astonished someone charging these prices would have those type of outcomes. The lack of craftsmanship and quality of work is so disappointing. I honestly feel like I was robbed.
So to start, it appears a company named Palette Plumbing (4.9 stars on Yelp) acquired Peach Plumbing and since then the reviews have reflected the improvement in quality of service and communication due to this merger. We had a flood on our first floor due to improperly installed sewer lines (obviously unbeknownst to us!). This was very unexpected given this property was a new construction. This was rapidly identified by their team and options for repair were offered. We were impressed by their patience (as we dealt with our builders and insurance companies etc) and their responsiveness. It was a major project to excavate concrete to get to our sewer line for repair. They hit multiple speed bumps (ones they could not have anticipated) but were always ready to make the correct adjustment/repair. They even apologized for taking 3 days instead of 2 days to complete the job but we didn't care! We were just happy to get the job done right. We had a few minor issues that followed (not directly due to their work) and they came right back out to assess the situation - with no cost to us. Their dedication to providing good, honest, timely service is unprecedented when I often feel that other companies get in - get out and once paid, you can't get in touch with anyone! Robert specifically has been great to work with (he gave me his direct cell!) and really has made this process a lot less stressful than it could have been. We GREATLY hope we don't need them again but if we do, I would not hesitate to call them.
I post this review after a 4 month issue stemming from an initial service call with PP&D. After the first visit to clear a clogged upstairs toilet which they thought they resolved using an auger cable, they returned to run 100 feet of cable again all the way to the septic tank. This time they neglected to tell me the cable was stuck and then disconnect and left in my pipe. After having two other plumbing companies out to asses the ongoing issue with the toilet, both showed me pictures of a very new auger cable after running a camera into the pipe. It was also discovered the toilet issue was caused by a belly in the pipe and the water could not clear. After cutting the pipe to repair the belly(which is now fixed) they tried to remove the cable which showed to be new with no corrosion. PP&D denied leaving the cable in the pipe even after I told them we have had no plumbing issues during our 19 years in the house. The plumbing companies that came out both said the cable had not been there long and that running a cable to the septic tank would be impossible if a cable was already in the pipe. PP&D claims they had nothing to do with the cable even after presenting them with the evidence and facts. So we paid almost 900.00 to have 90 feet of cable left in our pipe and will have to pay another 1600.00 to have it removed from outside the house. Customers beware..... There is more to the story but this hopefully will be enough to warn you.
I had a fantastic experience with Peach Plumbing. TJ was my technician, and he did an outstanding job. He explained everything clearly, walked me through the repairs step by step, and made sure I understood exactly what was being done. His work was clean, efficient, and you could tell he takes real pride in doing things the right way. He even took a call from me after he left with a follow-up question I had just so I could learn a few things. 🥰 Drew, who handled my quote over the phone, was incredibly sweet and knowledgeable. He helped set clear expectations before anyone arrived and made the whole process feel easy and stress-free. They completed several repairs for me, including: * Fixing a leak at a copper T-fitting * Replacing my old main shutoff with a new ball valve * Swapping out a small broken outdoor shutoff valve The pricing was very fair, especially for the amount of work involved. I appreciated the honesty, the transparency, and the fact that they didn’t try to upsell me on anything unnecessary. Between Drew’s kindness on the phone and TJ’s excellent work in my home, the entire experience was smooth and professional. I highly recommend both of them. Thank you so much! - Amanda
Ervin at Peach Plumbing & Drain is the real deal. I bought my house brand new five years ago and never had proper hot water the entire time I’ve lived here. Five years. In a new build. I’d basically given up and accepted it as a weird quirk of the house. Ervin showed up, diagnosed the issue, and actually fixed it. He replaced the recirculation pump, installed an expansion tank and bracket, serviced the ball valve and check valve, and flushed the water heater. What other plumbers missed or wouldn’t touch, he handled — and he explained every bit of it along the way. He literally fixed a new house that was broken from day one. On top of the craftsmanship, he was genuinely kind to my dog Rose, who demanded her share of attention the whole time he was working. That says a lot about someone. If you’re in Atlanta and need a plumber who’s going to actually solve the problem instead of slapping a band-aid on it, ask for Ervin at Peach Plumbing & Drain. Five years of cold showers, finally over.
I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Peach Plumbing! From start to finish, their team went above and beyond. My initial conversation with Gabrielle set the tone—she was incredibly friendly, patient, and accommodating, making everything feel easy right from the beginning. Erwin was just as impressive—professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. Then came Billy, who truly went out of his way to make sure my plumbing issues were fully taken care of. His dedication and willingness to help did not go unnoticed. Lastly, Drew was amazing when it came to discussing quotes. Not only was he transparent and helpful, but he even offered to lower my down payment after hearing about the ongoing issues with my home. That level of understanding and compassion is rare. This is hands down the friendliest company I have ever worked with. On top of that, their prices are excellent. If you’re looking for a plumbing company that truly cares about its customers, Peach Plumbing is the one to call!
This plumbing company is truly magnificent. From telling the customer service agent what the problem was and answering question to the young man (plumbing technician) whose name is Billy, we could not get any better. The technician came and diagnosed the problem then sat down and gave options. Next I knew was his superior telling us that they were going to work us on the pricing. The young technician sat down ans and had conversations. He came the next day and completed the entire job by himself and completed it in 3 hours. He showed me pictures of what needed to be replaced, and pictures of the replacements. To say all of this, this needs to be known. We experienced a water leak that caused our bill to go from 48.oo to 350.00. I tell this because they sent in proof of repairs to our water company. If I have any other plumbing issues again, I will be calling Peach Plumbing Service and I suggest you do so as well.
