I highly recommend Jastal Plumbing. They were prompt, courteous, reasonably priced and fixed the problem right away. If I ever have plumbing issues again, I will definitely call Jastal Plumbing. And a big shout out to James who worked efficiently and effectively in finding the issue and fixing it.

I contacted Jastal to do a presale inspection of a modular home I was selling. The customer service rep quoted us $95.00 to snake drains out up to 30 feet. and $150.00 to add a trap under a utility sink. Since the pre-sale inspection required inspections of three drains and the trap added I had no choice. Prior to Jastal inspecting the drains I had cleaned them out and they drained fine. I also replaced components on bathroom sink drain which Jastal had to inspect. My 93 year old father was on scene and called me saying that the tech wanted over $500.00 to inspect the drains and add the trap. Long story short, they did not snake any drains, they charged us $95.00 (per sink x 3 $285.00 to look at the water going down and to say it was flowing fine. They also charged $250.00 to add the trap under the utility drain which took ten minutes and $5.00 in parts which we provided. The bill was over $535.00. Shame on you Jastal for taking advantage of people.

I called for an estimate on some plumbing I needed done. Tech showed up late and seemed unknowledgeable and unenthused about being there. he then handed me a tablet asking me to sign and pay he hadn't done anything yet and no one had informed me that the estimate was not free. maybe it's my fault for not asking but I've never had a contractor show up and want paid before they did anything.

First of all the company asked for pictures of the job ahead of time. Why ask when you send out your serviceman with only one faucet that doesn't even match the kitchen hardware. Also, their prices are locked in no matter the degree of difficulty. Even when I called to verify pricing, I got the runaround. The serviceman was NOT knowledgeable about hardware or pricing without communication with home base. He spent most of the time in his truck. The serviceman wanted me to pay extra to replace the shutoff valves because he could not turn them easily by hand. I twisted them using pliers and they worked fine. I asked about the labor cost if I purchased the faucet myself. Again, he didn't know pricing without lengthy communication. The answer, $360 plus $49 service charge and no guarantee because I didn't buy the faucet from them. I found the same faucet online for half the price. The serviceman said he would return the next day at 2:00 pm. with the correct faucet. I found out the next day that he misspoke after I arranged my day to be there at 2:00. They arrived up after 3:00 pm. The bottom line - who pays over $650 to replace a faucet with one fastening nut with water connections? Stupidly - me! Never again! I would not recommend this company! Beware!

We should have never hired Jastal Plumbing- Streetsboro, OH. for our plumbing on our new home build, that began November of 2020. We have had nothing but problems for the past 2 years. We attempted to reach David Jastal for over a year, with no reply. After some prompting from the BBB, David recently reached out to us to come to a resolution. Once our agreement was put in place, and BBB complaint was dropped, David reneged on our agreement. This is most dishonest & inept company we have ever came across. We gave David Jastal/Jastal Plumbing countless opportunities to correct his mistakes. We were relieved to finally come to an agreement (which was nowhere near what we were owed) and move on. Unfortunately, David Jastal reneged on his end. I would not anyone to go through what we've gone through by hiring this dishonest company!

Our sink was not draining properly and was draining very slow. We contacted jastal plumbing and they were able to come out quickly. They came out and worked on the sink and said it was all fixed and that we were all good to go. 2 weeks later we had the same issue again. We called them and they said they do not guarantee their work and would not come out to look at it unless we paid again. They did say however if we have them a 5 star review they would take 10% off. We will be using roter rooter moving forward as they guarantee their work.

The other reviewer said it exactly right - the technician was 'unknowledgeable and unenthused about being there. ' And for wasting hours of your time and doing nothing except repeatedly saying 'I can't look at that, it's gonna cost extra'? $40! Based on the apparent lack of ability to do the job, let alone diagnose it correctly, or even summon up the will to face their customer, I would not recommend or trust them.

The work was fine, but the cost was ridiculous. First, they charged me for the estimate as others mentioned and then $500+ labor for an hour and a half job. The pump they put in runs around $400 and my bill was around $1000 with the estimate included. That's just way to much and gouging of the customer. I'd look elsewhere.

Water heater wasn't working properly, they came the next day and fixed it. Then they called back the next to make sure the service was good and everything was working properly. Great staff nice people, great work!

Have to pay for an estimate which seems ridiculous. I guess my potential business isn't worth enough... Your customers shouldn't be responsible for covering your tech's gas for sales purposes. Bad business model.

Great job on new 80 gallon tank, prompt, curtious! Will and have used again! Good job!
