JJ was my advanced field tech who chauffeured me around on a ride-a-long. We went to this customers home to diag a condensers unit that was frozen over in frigid, icey conditions and although we encountered some complications like a language barrier and more we we able to defrost her system. Test her return lines and ensure her unit was safely and properly operational before we departed. Upon the departure, we notified the customer the best we could ( due to language barriers) about our visit. We packed, up cleaned up, double check and left without a trace. Thank you HELP and JJ.

Josh did an amazing job! He was very kind and courteous! He wore boot covers and put covers on the wheels of the drain snake to make sure my floors stayed clean. He was here about an hour, and got my floor drain in the basement cleared. Fantastic service and price! Even when I scheduled them out, the lady who made my appointment was extremely nice! I HIGHLY recommend HELP!

We were smelling electricity and our breaker box was hot. We called four companies on Sunday night to get an emergency visit. All answering service devices told us they would call us Monday morning. HELP was the first and only company that returned our call. Michael came out on Monday, immediately knew the problem with our 47 year old breaker box. As we suspected it needed to be replaced. He was able to "fix" the wiring to hold it to the next day and ensure we would not have a fire. He came out the very next morning and installed a new box. He check all our outlets and appliances to ensure that everything was working before he left and cleaned up his work area. We was extremely knowledgeable and very professional. We were very pleased with Michael as our service technician. We felt HELP was very responsive and was a professional company.

I would give them minus 1 star if I could. I wrote a previous review on here but somehow it magically disappeared. Inept Service Tech, not on time, no quote, no detailed invoice and a 350.00 charge for a drain that stopped right back up 2 days later. Their Tech worked on my drain for over 3 hours and said afterwards and I quote, " I'm afraid i only poked a little hole in it". I hired a local plumber 2 days later, (TONY'S HEATING AND PLUMBING), when it stopped back up for 180.00 and it has now been a month and a half and it has been draining better than it ever has. My wife and I are elderly, retired and on Social Security. Guess they also don't care about taking the elderly for a ride. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! THEY ARE A RIPOFF!! Their Tech was more interested in selling me a service plan and swore I needed a water softener and get this, I had to help their Tech cut out a cleanout plug and I had to use a pair of my own visegrips in the process and their Tech said he had never seen a pair of visegrips before!! What a idiot!!

As always look at Better Business Bureau reviews and complaints before believing all the reviews you read on any site for any service company .

Stay away from this company! I called them for a heating "tune-up" because I wanted to be sure everything was clean and working. The only reason I chose HELP was because the previous homeowners had used them and surely they would have all service history on file. They sent out a junior technician who inspected the draft motor, pressure sensor, burners, and heat exchanger. He said the draft motor and pressure sensors were worn out and needed to be replaced. He also said the heat exchanger was cracked and would need to be replaced due to the risk of carbon monoxide. At that point he called out a senior technician to further evaluate the heat exchanger. The senior technician said the heat exchanger would definitely need to be replaced, but since the quote to replace it was $1,500 and the units were at end-of-life he said I should consider replacing the unit. He insisted upon scheduling an appointment to quote a new unit. He also gave me quotes to replace the draft motor and pressure sensor at $900 and $300, respectively. I asked them to measure the carbon monoxide levels in order to assess the risk of running the unit. They got a reading of 2ppm by probing near the heat exchanger. They made me sign a waiver regarding the risk of running the unit and shut it off, but the junior technician said that I could simply switch it back on if I wanted to. I then scheduled service through my home warranty and another company arrived next week. They inspected the unit and said that other than normal wear, the unit was in good condition and we should get another ten years of use. They indicated that the draft motor, pressure sensor, and heat exchanger were fine and did not need to be replaced. A carbon monoxide reading was performed using a higher-quality instrument and the result was 0ppm. I am thankful that I got a second opinion and did not waste any money with HELP beyond the "tune-up" fee. As other people have commented, there was a night-and-day difference between the HELP technicians and the other company's technicians. The HELP technicians are basically salespeople who have been trained in HVAC and their goal was to sell me replacement parts or a new unit that I did not need. In fact, the other company's technician even found a used temperature sensor that HELP had previously replaced sitting on the unit. The sensor was in good condition and replacement had not been needed. I will never do business with HELP again, and I will recommend that other people stay away from them. Lesson learned.

Call someone else! We had a sewer draining problem in the basement, it's been an issue for a while and we knew we need to get a lining done. So I called Help because of the drain cleaning special. The first technician came out and broke his equipment off in the sewer line. Then we had to wait 3 days for a camera guy to come, for a fee, and he recommended their high pressure cleaning which he said would get the roots out and clean the line. They were supposed to return before noon, they didn't return until after 3pm. When they finally did get to our house they spent some time on one of the drains and said the flow was going again, then they worked on the other drain and said they cleaned it out. Upon returning to viewing the first drain the water was backing up again, they said no it's flowing. I said I know my drain and it's going to backup, after a few mins of water running sure enough it did backup again. They brought in their power snake and worked a while on that and finally got some water flowing, again this was AFTER they had already done their high pressure cleaning, which I found out later was almost 4 times more than other companies charge for that service. They then recommended a VERY expensive repair solution, which included linings. The next day I called a few other companies for second opinions on the lining. One couldn't even get their camera down the line they "cleaned, and another finally offered to do the cleaning so they could get a good estimate on the lining. Finally after a few hours the second company got ALL the roots out, and gave me as estimate almost HALF what Help quoted. The "camera guy"/sales person even offered a special rate credit loan to finance the "high pressure cleaning", to which I found the next week when I got the statement was not true as the apr was almost 4 times what Help quoted. I think they were just more interested in selling me a VERY expensive solution than cleaning the lines, which I paid a LOT of money for. I have emailed them several times, called a couple of times to get some satisfaction as to the poor job done, no response. Save yourself the headache and calls someone else.

in March-2020, my furnace stopped heating. I called HELP as that was the name of the appliance and they installed it many years ago with previous owner. Josh showed up with another guy in training. As soon as Josh opened the panel he declared problem is with fan, one that remove burnt air. On smart gas valve it was blinking 3 times, which I knew meant problem with pressure switch. His theory was fan is not creating enough pressure. He told me that if I put new fan to try out, then I will have to pay for it. I challenged him by asking him to short pressure switch to prove his theory. He tried and tried but couldn't short it. Then he decided to install new fan, for which he had just told me I will have to pay just to try out. But now he was fine trying new fan on his own. With new furnace started to work. I was still puzzled but it was very cold and I needed heat. So I paid just over $750 and off they go. 2 weeks later, heat went out again, same 3 blinking lights. called them and a new tech came. He was very methodical and start testing one piece at a time and immediately ruled out pressure switch and fan and zeroed down to gas valve and an estimate of 800+. It finally all made sense. He agreed Josh's diagnosis was wrong and Josh did a bad job. Furnace is 15 year old, so I agreed to look at option to replace it. Replacement options were $6000+. While they agreed that they made a mistake with fan, they decline to compensate full price of the fan. Needless to say, they aren't coming back. Whatever you do, don't hire Josh. Also 2nd time they didn't even put back panel, they took out to inspect the coil, properly. Later I duct tape it to stop leaks. Really Unprofessional. Better yet, don't hire them...... there are plenty of honest and reasonably prices folks out there. [Edit 5/19] Nicole reached out and asked for contact details to reach out to me. Which was promptly provided next day. Not to my surprise, no contact was made, it was just a show.

If I good give less than one star I would...I have spent several thousand dollars with this company over the last year or so, sump pump repair, replaced hot water heater, and replaced a clogged drainage line between my home and the main sewer line (on that one they committed to repair the ground and reseed and place straw cover...that never happened...sent a photo of the incomplete work last December, never heard anything in return). About 2 weeks ago an under sink water system failed and I called them to remove the old one and install a new one. They said their would be a $59 show up and diagnostic fee and while I can't say for certain I seem to recall that they said that the hourly rate beyond that would be $90 or $100 which I could accept. The appointment was set for the technician to arrive between 3:00-5:00 and having heard nothing at 4:50 I call and was told that the technician would arrive in about 30 minutes. When he saw the under sink system he said that they usually only repair full house systems and that he would have to call the master plumber to get a price (even though I was explicitly clear when I scheduled the appointment that the needed repair was for an under sink unit. After he made that call I was informed that the job would be $632.00, to say the least I was SHOCKED (the top of the line full filtration system cost was about $170.00 for the entire unit). I asked the technician how long it would take to do the work and he said 2 maybe 3 hours, you can do the math...somewhere between $200-$300 an hour. I forgot to mention that they had diagnosed our furnace as needing to be replaced in December...I did not do it and there was no issue through the balance of the winter. I am more than "done" with this company. In all fairness I do believe their technicians are very capable, just tired of being gouged for the work I do need and and dealing with promoting work that I do not need...BUYER BEWARE!!!

My mom is a member of the help maintenance club/plan and has used them for many years. HELP agreed in writing to install a complete shower unit for my 82 year old mother, to included running all new supply and waste lines and stalling a customer supplied fiberglass base and surround. HELP did an awesome job as usual on the plumbing, expensive but worth the peace of mind that the job is done well. HELP unfortunately installed the shower surround (ie the fiberglass wall) without the needed framing onto which the heavy shower doors would attached. HELP told me that they don't do framing but they never told me that in advance or I would have had it done. HELP installed he surround KNOWING that it would have to be ripped out so that the right framing could be added to support the heavy glass shower door. HELP did tell me in advance they don't fix drywall or hand shower doors, so I'm good with that. HELP never told me before the shower walls where in that they would do work that would require me to have it ripped out. HELP refuses to compromise or offer any amount of small refund, refuses to acknowledge they messed up. You can see from the attached that they agreed to do all the work. You can see that they specifically said the only thing they don't do is drywall repair and hanging shower doors You can see that after the fact when I questioned the tech, only then did he say they don't do framing. Why would you install something that you KNOW will have to be torn out to finish the job? Help refuses to compromise here so social media and negative reviews are my only recourse at this point. I guess what Marty says in not true, you shouldn't send HELP to your grandmothers house!

Absolute con artists who lie about needed services in order to get more business to pay their commission- only jobs. Only a handful are trained technicians, and most of their work is done by a contractual plumbing company who wear their shirts with the HELP logo to fool the client. The contractors have the needed equipment that HELP does not even own and their truck has no ID on it, they have no business cards, no personal IDs, and no direct HELP contact. HELP lied to me by having me believe that the work was completed on my sewer aqua scrub, which it was not by any means, took my $$$$ over $2600.00 by check and deposited in the bank hours later, fully knowing that they were ripping me off. After I had a professional plumber examine their work as well as MSD, it took them 3 days to "complete" the job again, this time again by a non identifiable crew who used my hose without asking to provide water for their truck's aqua scrub to work, 9 hrs + of nonstop running and leaking because it is not made for a powerful flow the first day, then 8-10 hr plus days of extended water use for the subsequent 2-3 days. ALL this for what should have been a one day job. The first day they came out, their defective power hose sprung a leak and was flying all over my house, hitting my windows, hitting power lines, and flooding my garage. They then told me that their work was finished and made me pay the bill. I fell for their lie. Because HELP has such a powerful ad campaign for three different states, they feel that they can get away with fooling the Public. The Media really needs to investigate such a crooked company and expose them for what they really are.

Be very careful with this company. They have very slick marketing but it's always for things that I would think most customers don't actually care about. Honesty I am sure is at the top of list... There technicians are basically sales people. They will put pressure on you to buy services and things for your equipment that you don't need. They also work on commission. They are armed with very slick sales tall so they can justify their exorbitant prices or at least try to. Case in point our furnace was having issues and we called help. Technician came out and told us that we had a very high level issue which required a pretty expensive part around $600 but he didn't have it. This was on a Friday and the soonest they were able to get the part would maybe be Monday Tuesday. Since our furnace is more towards its end of life he suggested we replace the unit completely and made the comment I don't have the part to fix it but I can get you a new furnace by this evening. Well of course that's pressure and who wants to be without heat for 3 to 4 days in the winter. However I'm going against his advice so I decided to say no to the things he recommend and find someone else to take a look. We hired another company to come out and they discovered that there was a $40 part that was bad which they replaced and the furnace is working. So we go from a $40 part to an entire furnace replacement which would've cost thousands. I have a feeling that a lot of people would potentially fallen for this especially the elderly and people that are not assertive. I would advise staying away from their services...

I called HELP to take advantage of their drain clean out special. The techs came out and did a great job. It only took about 30 mins to get the drain in front of my garage cleaned out and draining again. My issue arose with their subscription program. The same tech that did the clean out explained that the subscription program included 3 key things: 1. an AC and heating annual inspection/tune up of the system, 2. an annual inspection of plumbing and gas to look for leaks, and an electrical inspection to check for grounded wires, problems, etc. The electrical inspection was a big plus for me since I'm in an older house. The tech even tried to schedule the electrical inspection for me but was told by dispatch that their system was down and to just call back. HELP called to set up the AC inspection and when I asked about setting up the electrical inspection I was told, "we don't do that anymore". Really?! I signed up for the subscription just over a week ago. When I said I wanted to cancel, they said I had to pay for the entire year, even though they aren't providing the service I was sold. After a very nice discussion with Holly, a manager, they did cancel the subscription. Holly was very helpful and understanding. But this felt like a classic bait and switch. I get it if the company was losing money on the electrical inspections, but they're still selling this service and staff should be kept up to date on this stuff. I'd use them again for a drain clean, but can't say I'd recommend for anything else.

Jerry was very helpful and explained everything in detail. I feel very secure in my choice of furnace and AC units. Jake and Michael did an excellent job cleaning the ductwork for my furnace/AC. They fully explained everything they were doing. They also reattached the dryer vent so that it would vent out though the attic as it originally did. They were very professional. Jason was very professional and kept me well informed on what he was doing. He answered all my questions and very easy to talk to. Tyler was able to add the outside outlet and also checked my light post in front of my house to diagnose the problem. The work was done very quickly and professionally and I was happy to be able to put my outside decoration out for Thanksgiving. Tyler replaced 9 outlets that were ungrounded. That has given me peace of mind that they are safe to use. Jacob was very nice and thorough. He fully explained everything that he was doing. He also gave me very helpful tips on keeping my system performing well. Leroy found the clog which was a lot of roots and cleared it out. He was very thorough and gave me helpful advice to prevent this problem in the future. Jaheim was a ray of sunshine, very pleasant to talk to and covered everything that was inspected. Gagen was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I really appreciate the time he took to make sure I had my app set correctly on my phone to get notifications. I realized that I didn’t have those set up, and Gagen was very patient with me.

Like many on here lately I am beyond disappointed with the "service plan" offered by HELP!. Let's start with the 96% right the first time. I can't believe that is true, not just because mine is 0% but because they can't even tell you what they are tracking it at. Like others I was surprised that mid July was the first time they could schedule routine summer maintenance. THEN they had to cancel because they had too many emergencies. I know they had too many emergencies the day before as well because they accidentally called me the day before thinking my appointment was on a different day. When I called to reschedule I was quoted an earliest date 5 weeks after my original appointment. In addition when I asked to speak to a service supervisor (not the first time) I was told they don't come to the phone and they would reach out to me in 3-4 days after the call center rep sent an email. My displeasure started well before this experience when after spending the money for them to install a new furnace and AC they had to come back 6 weeks later because I had no heat. I had to drag out of the technician that his assessment was that the set up was incorrect versus the equipment being faulty. Just some information for you to consider when evaluating HELP! Nichole R. Your standard reply to every bad review does no good for anyone. How about one of the service manages call me back like I was told would happen over a week ago.
