I was having a rough time after trying to remove a stuck shower cartridge and replacing my shower/tub head, handle, and tub spout myself. The home builders didn’t strap anything down behind the shower so it made it impossible for me to do anything in that tight space. Michael came by to help was able to work within that tight space and got everything replaced! He was professional, knowledgeable, and the quality of his work was excellent. I really appreciate his help and would absolutely recommend Michael to anyone looking for a reliable, honest, and skilled plumber! 10/10
Shea came and got our AC up and running again! Scheduling the appointment was easy and the communication on time was wonderful! I really appreciated the thoroughness and care Shea took in figuring out the issue and fixing it. He talked with me, wasn’t pushy and was genuinely nice!
Their tech (Eddie) and work and know-how and pricing were all absolutely phenomenal. I couldn't be happier and more grateful for the excellent job they did on replacing my sump pump, cleaning everything up, making sure it was up to code, appropriate for the house, everything. And the price was 60% of the other guys, I saved thousands! I'm so, SO pleased; will definitely call Scott Hale Plumbing again!!
We hired Scott Hale for all plumbing and gas line work during a major home renovation (95% new build). This meant trusting them with every line in the house — showers, sinks, toilets, fireplaces, everything. While the crew on-site was friendly (Alex in particular was excellent), the quality of the work and follow-through has been unacceptable. 1. Dangerous gas line installation The gas lines for our fireplaces were installed without proper regulators. When the fireplaces were connected, turning them on produced a ball of flame. The fireplace installers refused to proceed until the hazard was corrected. To investigate, we had to cut into our newly finished basement ceiling to trace the lines. We now have multiple holes in our ceiling — only one was patched by Hale, leaving us to pay for the rest. Despite repeated calls, they have refused to take responsibility. 2. Leaking tub drain The tub drain was installed incorrectly and has leaked from day one. Getting someone to even look at it required weeks of pestering. When a plumber finally came, he told me he was “doing me a favor” because he wasn’t being paid to be there. After using a special wrench, the drain still leaked. He said he’d discuss options with his manager, but I haven’t heard back since February. As a result, we have been unable to use our bathtub or shower for nearly a year. 3. Lack of accountability I’ve spoken with Shannon (GM), Robert, Kim, and others. Each promised resolution, but nothing has been fixed. Calls go unanswered, commitments are broken, and the company refuses to stand behind its work. Bottom Line…. Scott Hale may be friendly on-site, but friendliness doesn’t make up for unsafe installations, unfinished repairs, and a year-long failure to deliver on basic obligations. We entrusted them with our home, and instead we’ve been left with hazards, damage, and unusable fixtures. I cannot recommend them to anyone seeking reliable plumbing or gas line work.
I had a good experience with Keith. He was quick to get the shower drain flowing again. He gave my kids candy after asking permission. He was friendly and courtious. I only gave 4 stars and not 5 because I have a service plan and I was surprised that it still cost me just over $200 to snake my shower drain. That's life I guess. Thank you Keith for getting us flowing. Your card is going on the fridge.
