Chris Mayta was extremely helpful with me and the issue we had with our drain line. Very professional and I could tell he actually cares about the customer and not just making another stop. Will definitely call and ask for him again!
We had a water line burst inside our kitchen wall. The tech that came out was able to quickly assess, get us a quote, and was able to repair with minimal demolition which was much appreciated. We were really surprised at the affordability of the repair, and both the tech and the office were all super friendly. Would definitely recommend giving them a call if you need work done.
These guys were by far the most affordable. They were also friendly and very knowledgeable! Couldn’t recommend Garren more! We will call for him again!
My kids bathroom spout that controls the shower vs filling the tub did not work They came out and gave a quote for $800 a month later returned to fix. I was at work gave authorization for them to come in and replace the spigot I came home to this ! I called three times no response back
Though they tried to push me for an earlier appt, then still tried to come earlier than my scheduled appt, once they got here they were quick to diagnose the problem and repair. Way more expensive than anticipated 508.00 for a garbage disposal replacement....
I do not know where to begin. We hired this company to do the necessary plumbing for our small commercial kitchen after being assured by John Regusa that he knew what all of the city requirements were necessary to pass a plumbing inspection. What followed was something that took four times longer than communicated and was wrought with one frustration after another. Along the way I expressed concerns over the way things were coming along, however, was told by John at every turn that he knew what he was doing - even when it was apparent that he did not. I paid this company half of the total amount up front and John did his best to get me to give him the remaining half BEFORE the inspection, even lying to me about having scheduled it for the day he was due to finish all work. This was one of many lies he told me. Another of his lies was that he pulled a permit for the gas line he installed which, as it turned out, we did not need because there was an existing gas line already in place. The inspector confirmed the permit was not pulled and only added much after the fact in an effort to cover his behind. John still insisted he was right and the inspector was wrong. John simply had an excuse for everything. Long story short - the inspection failed - miserably. The inspector was shocked over the shoddy work done and simply could not believe his eyes at how some of the piping was rigged. The owner of the company, "Sam", was incredibly combative, deflective and completely unwilling to assume any responsibility from the very beginning. He refused to have a conversation with me at the very beginning, instead, insisting we communicate via email only. His deflection and defense of his employee John in light of emperical proof of lies told and sub par work completed is truly astonishing. Sam even has gone so far as to lay blame - get this - on me for believing John's lies. The two essentially continued to pee on my shoes while telling me it was raining. I believe this company does a signficant amount of damage control and positive PR to hide their MANY negative reviews I unfortunately came across too late. I would avoid them at all costs, especially if you are female as they seem to think we're all naiive and ignorant whose eyes they can easily pull the wool over. I intend on filing a complaint with the GA Secretary of State's Construction Industry Licensing Board - Division of Master and Journeyman Plumbers, BBB and all other appropriate forums. Here is a picture of the sink that John left on these blocks. This was how he left it after telling me it was finished. When I expressed dissatisfaction with this rigged set up - he backpeddled and told me he could get leg extenders, however, he had truly hoped I would be o.k. with it the way it was left. Amazing. The rest of his work was just as unprofessional.
Got charged $ for technician coming out and opening and closing the pressure reducing valve and diagnosing that the galvanized water service pipe between city line and house was likely restricted and needed to be replaced. I have been told this constituted a "service" rather than a free estimate/problem diagnosis. After two weeks of not being able to get a cost estimate for the replacement of the service line, I decided to give someone else a call. I notified them of this and was told they are keeping the $ that they would have otherwise applied to the cost of the line replacement. UPDATE - After posting the comment above, I was quickly contacted by the owner of the company. I did not ask to speak to him before posting the review above. The owner has addressed the situation to my complete satisfaction. I have great respect and appreciation for a business owner that will jump in and solve a problem when he/she becomes aware of it. We cannot expect the owner to be in all places at all times and you learn a lot about the character and integrity of the person you are doing business with when you see how they respond and act when things have gotten off track a little. I think he probably handled the situation better and more professionally than I did. I am convinced that the owner is committed to quality service and customer satisfaction. Based on the whole experience, I have upped my stars and I have left both parts of the review so you will have the full picture.
the emergency weekend tech, bruce, seemed knowledgable & professional & helpfull on the phone, but I was unwilling to spend the extra 200 for an emergency call to get my pilot light started ,,on the 6yr.,2mos,&16days old brad/white 50 gal.top o the line water heater. so I called brad/white mfg of heater, doing online research, & making a lot of non-tech homeowner assumptions. The P.P.S.&D. "monday tech" came on time, listened 2 my story, but, instead of going thru his paces like I ASKED, 2 see if my assumptions were wrong or right, & doing his own test of unit,or, figuring out if what the mfg support line told me was correct or not, "cause, im trying 2 educate myself but im not a waterheater guy",...he advised me that the valve was indeed broken, that no-one has the valve, would take 2 wks 2 get the valve, then 2 do the work would cost the same as getting a whole new heater at starting $1,400.00.!! I said, "nope", (cause I was looking at the part online, screen up at 189 in stock same day ship from just ONE atl plumb. supply company!..."nope! " so, I called the co. that installed it, Mr.P...their tech came next day, tues, on time., tech. Kyle M., pushed a safety button, & it started right up...so, no, I do NOT reccommend PPS&D. The weekend tech seemed knowledgable & helpfull on the phone, but OTHER than that, NOPE.!
New in town and Used them on past project one yr ago for a top of the line tankless and relocation, the tankless was to have recirculating hot water through out the hose. A year latter they are installing the recirculate which was not much should have been done the other 3 times. For kitchen project Charged me 250.00 to install a facet and hot water dispense in kit Not really an install more of a swap installing new ones for what was already there. Did not complete said the other guy would finish. Will 2 days latter the other guy dis here flushing tankless and wants another 250.00 And said that He cannot honor verbal quote form the other tech from last week. Really well guess what the new building and extending main waterline will not need your services Could not honor or has no honor . So I'm gonna have to finish installing the faucet for Plumber Pro since they didn't finish it and I'm not gonna pay twice. No pro in plumber here. Last check they will get from us Switching to Greenlee plumbing. They will be here tomorrow to give me a quote on new project. I've used them before on the other side of town I didn't realize they still service my area so at least I'll finally have a good. plumber
Made an appt to have my garbage disposal repaired that was less than a year old. The repair man called to "walk me through" it. He told me to press reset button and if that didn't fix it they would need to install a new one for $369 or that I could buy one myself and they'd install it. I told him I would need to ask my husband about it and that the unit was only a year old. He told me he'd email the invoice for a new unit and for a text saying the appointment was complete and an estimate for a new unit...without ever being inside my house. Didn't seem right given how new this unit was, not to mention it was high end model with a 20 year warranty. I called another company who promptly came out and found a screw had fallen into the disposal and gotten chewed up and jammed. Took 2 minutes to get it out and back to running. Saved myself a lot of money. Update: The owner reached out offering an explanation and was concerned about my experience and I appreciate that, so upgrading to a 2 instead of a 1. Ultimately I don't think it's good practice to diagnose and send estimates without physically assessing the unit.
Had Christian come out. We had scheduled it weeks in advance to reattach our toilets following new flooring, fix leaky faucets, and fix a constantly running toilet. He comes and reattaches the toilets. He glances at our leaky faucets and "doesn't have time". We watched him throw the old seal for one toilet onto the floor of our garage and never pick it up. Later we find a sodden towel thrown onto brand new floors, wax goo from the seals on our new floor and ground into carpet. His nasty gloves were thrown into my bathtub (with the trash can 2 ft away, which he used for the 2nd wax seal). We also found the packaging for the new seals thrown onto our front lawn. He had tinkered with our 3rd toilet and said he didn't have time to fix it, now it's CONSTANTLY running and the tank isn't filling. I don't believe in coincidence when he tinkered with it just that afternoon and it was instantly worse. We reached out to the owner via text with NO RESPONSE regarding this behavior. It was also over $400 JUST to reattach the toilets, and ANOTHER $400+ to fix 3 leaky faucets. Overall NOT happy.
Overall, I enjoyed my experience with Plumbers Pro and plan on working with them in the future on my other properties. They have an automated system that keeps you informed of when your service tech will be arriving to the job site. There were some hiccups with the technician not being able to show up at the expected times but this is because they also do emergency plumbing work. My original plumbing issue wasn't an emergency so we had to reschedule a couple times. My technician was Chris. He seemed very knowledgeable of what my issue was and helped me to understand why he recommended the solution he did. It was more than I was expecting but I trusted he knew what was best so we proceeded with the job. After the job was completed we had another plumbing issue that resulted from it. Cris came out the next day free of charge to remediate the situation since he already knew what the problem was. I have some drywall repair to do but it could have been much worse.
I reached out to Plumber Pro based on their Yelp reviews (I refer to Yelp for everything). My hot water tank was apparently installed when the house was built (20+ years old) and was leaking. I sent a quote request that night and received a response almost immediately. We decided to talk about the issue more during business hours the following day. Like clockwork, I received a call and we discussed the issue. We discussed warranty and installation, and I was scheduled for installation the next business day. The installation specialist was on time and even worked around us having to install new Sheetrock in space where the hot water heater was because of mildew. He was quick, efficient, thorough, and explained the new components versus the 20+ year old heater we had. He cleaned up behind himself and hauled away the ancient component. I couldn't be more pleased!
WOW! Excellent service. We needed a porcelain pedestal sink re-seated. I called them late Tues afternoon, and Brandon came out early Wed morning. He took a look at the job, gave me a fair quote and got the work done in an hour or so. He was polite, knowledgeable, and courteous. After looking over his work, I must say that he is a true craftsman. Despite having to remove the sink entirely before raising it and remounting it, there is really no more work to be done. I had expected to have to repaint or possibly patch the wall, but that was not the case because of his professional skill. We are very happy with the end product, and we will certainly use this company again. Thank you for a job well done. I strongly recommend Plumber Pro and Master Plumber, Brandon to everyone in need of some plumbing work done.
A very competent young man came to check our plumbing "emergency" on a Saturday, after part of our house flooded from a toilet. He diligently did his inspection (snake, camera and all) and within an hour or two had figured out our problem, the dreaded and once-before lived nightmare: Tree roots were clogging our pipes. The good news is that after a clear description of our problem, possible ways to solve it, tips to manage meanwhile, and standard prices for this and further work (changing our water heater to "tankless"), he soon returned. He fulfilled a long, detailed and satisfactory job - all in one day - with the help of one other person: They rid us of the roots, changed part of our pvc pipe AND replaced our heater. I appreciate that he let us watch and answered all our questions, along the process.
