Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

I got a same day appointment!! The technician (Tim) was very respectable, knowledgeable, and professional. He got the job done in less than 30 min. I will definitely use this company again if I need a plumber in the future!

Very nice gentleman was knowledgeable, and he was able to fix my problem quickly. He arrived when he said he would and kept me informed. And offered me solutions. So this problem wouldn't happen again, very happy with the service.

Yet again Roto Rooter came to the rescue for our household. After previous excellent work (thank you Wesley) getting our house on track (excellent mitigation work)after an unexpected flooding they came out late night to fix our toilets . As usual the Roto rooter rep (thank you Tim) was professional, knowledgeable and reassuring. And despite the hour the work was done very much to our satisfaction. Yet again they did not disappoint.

Our water heater burst on a Sunday & flooded our basement. We are both older & unable to physically manage the monumental task of cleanup. Roto Rooter was listed as available weekends & able to help with mitigation, so I called them & could not be more grateful that I did! Within an hour or so they were at our house replacing our water heater & before long, Wes arrived to assess the damage & explained in detail what they could do to help. He was professional & compassionate, & even helped us work with our insurance claim. There is No way I could have managed everything without his help, not to mention the damage to our belongings, walls, etc. as well as the risk of mold & fungus. They took tons of photos & sent them along with documentation to our insurance company & helped to streamline the claim process. They helped clean out ruined furniture, etc, & set up fans & equipment to help dry out our basement. Within a week or so it was dried out. I Highly recommend them. Worth every penny! This was not a simple fix. They initially showed up to clean the sewer drainage system that failed. After trying to clean the drain, they discovered the initial insulation was faulty. The wires to the sewage pumps were simply buried in the ground without pvc protection which caused a short in one of the wires. After careful examination, they determined the piping and container protecting the piping were inadequate and too low for the original system to operate properly. These guys fixed all of these defects and had our system working properly in just a few days. I highly recommend Roto- Router Athens and will use them in the future if needed for all plumbing needs. I am very happy. Don’t hesitate calling them for any plumbing issues.

Wesley has been our home twice. The first time was almost a year from today’s date of 11/10/25. He did the exact same repair on another toilet today that he did a year ago. I haven’t had any issue with the 1st service which is why he was called back. I’m glad I was able to be home this time. We had a good conversation outside of what he came here for which and I enjoyed learning about him and his time in the profession. He seemed to be very knowledgeable from doing what he has been doing for decades. I do know if there is a need for future plumbing service, I’ll be calling Wes. I’m glad to be a resident of Jackson County 😂. No photos, sorry Wes.

Tim Johnson with Roto Rooter came out on Saturday of a holiday weekend, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. He was prompt, professional, very kind, and extremely knowledgeable. Tim took the time to explain everything clearly, showed me the work being done, and made sure my opinion and concerns were valued throughout the process. It’s rare to find customer service like this anymore. Overall, it was a great experience, and I will definitely use Roto Rooter again if services are needed in the future.

With winter storm Fern approaching, I thought I’d unscrew my outdoor hose from the spigot. But an old and rotted spigot broke off from the pipe and water gushed. Having to shut the main water valve off, I had no water to the house. Saturday night before the storm, Roto-Rooter answered. With a kind personality and positive attitude, Wesley saved our weekend. I’d recommend anyone to Roto-Rooter and Wesley as he was sincere, personable, and did a great job!

He came out to check the sump pump in the crawl space. It had been running all day with our first big rain in months but nothing coming out of the output. He came within the hour and quickly discovered that the outflow pipe had just come off so he put it back on and didn't even charge me anything. Told me the pump was vibrating and to keep an eye on it. Because it might need to be replaced to keep that from happening again.

Great job by Tim and Mason. Very quick response and service. They clearly explained the potential scenarios and, after completing their thorough assessment, provided me with their estimate, which was thankfully the lesser of the two. They were able to complete the job quickly. I appreciated the professionalism and clarity that they brought to their work.

Great service and very knowledgeable team!! The owner is local and he works hard to do the best job possible. He does not take shortcuts and he does the job fairly and honestly. They were very responsive to our needs, the cost was reasonable, and they definitely went the extra mile to ensure that we were taken care of. Highly recommend!

Mack and Tim were very helpful in managing and correcting a clogged drain line issue. They were thorough in their explanations of the potential causes and systematically eliminated the issues that were not the problem. Once they had determined what the problem was, they cleared the blockage and the sinks are draining perfectly now!

We called this place yesterday to get a person out here to look at our problem and get us a quote . They were here same day we called, he fixed the problem and showed us how to fix it along the way. And wonderful Westley didn't even charge us! Thank you Westley for your amazing help. We will definitely use Roto_Rooter again!
