Zane came and did my ac maintenance today. He was very professional, courteous and friendly. I have always had exceptional customer service from Milestone. Thank you !! And a special thanks to Zane for taking the time to listen and talk.
Scott is very conscientious troubleshooting the issues. He offered various options and was very respectful with regards to price points. He offered his suggestions, explained his reasons behind his suggestions and did not heavily push to upsale. He simply offered all options and respected the decisions made. I am going to use him again, first because of the quality work and a close second because of his respect for decisions and not being pushy.
Justin did a great job! He was here right on time, explained things in an easy to understand manner. He was very patient and informative when going over the checklist for my service. Justin represented Milestone in a way for which the company should be proud!
I called them due to an upstairs bathtub that was leaking into the downstairs ceiling. They sent someone out to cut into the ceiling and replace the trap under the bathtub. A few days later it started leaking again. They sent someone else out and said the first person didn't do it correct. Charged me almost $2,000 for the repair! Then they talked me into joining their annual service plan to get a discount on the service. This came with a "free" HVAC checkup. They sent a teenager with a camera who took apart my A/C and took a bunch of scary pictures and claimed the unit needed tens of thousands of dollars in repairs, which was hand-written on a piece of paper. Well that was years ago, I never got any of the repairs they said I needed. The only problem I've had is that the guy didn't put the screws back into the A/C unit when he was done and it's been blowing cold air into my attic since then.
Crooked! The tech used an old damaged tool then claim that the roots were too thick that it broke his equipment, while he further damaged my clean-out pipe. He promoted severa scare tactics to convince me to buy into other recommended suggestions. He called his coworker to come to my house to perform other tasks (Without my approval) that would have cost me several thousands of dollars. I contacted another company, and they completed the exact same task that the Milestone Tech was performing, and finished it within 30 minutes without equipment issues. Milestone's advertisements are good, but their services don't support it.They are focusing more on upsales, from which the techs receive their greatest rewards. Wow! This was a very dissapointing experience for me.
I am currently under contract to sell my home and the initial inspection spotted standing water in the house. Because of the water, nobody was willing/able to access the crawl space for further analysis. This process went back and forth for approximately 2 weeks. I finally decided to call who I trust (Milestone) to provide us with some clarity and recommendations. Andrew got to my house as soon as possible, entered the crawl space, and identified the source of the problem as a main water line leak. The problem was originally believed to be drainage issues. From there, Andrew partnered with Fransisco to work to get us the repairs we needed (that and a few others) within two days. This saved us from spending money on unnecessary installations and fixing the true cause of the problem. The project was completed ahead of schedule and at a VERY fair price. Jesus arrived to our home on time and completed all of the work within two hours - I was shocked given the amount of work that needed to be done. Milestone has done a ton of work on my homes and they have earned a life long customer in me. Andrew, Fransisco, and Jesus were all on time, friendly, and patient to fully explain the situation to me. I will only ever work with Milestone for any plumbing/electrical work for as long as I live in North Texas and highly recommend others do the same!
I have used Milestone for hvac, electrical and plumbing for years. I even have maintenance plans with them. In all this time I have only once had a technician not find additional repairs totaling $1000-$2500. I paid additional $530 that day and there coming to repair a filter tray for $2000. By the way, it’s a a/c unit they installed. I understand about upsells but this is ridiculous. Now, as for Technician doing the maintenance, he was more concerned with the upsell then anything else. He also left the dirty filters on my garage floor with other misc trash. He was probably 3’ from a large trash can. I wish companies would treat people fairly.
Just a note to Milestone, you did some A/C work for me and caused some damage to my roof which resulted in some leakage. You recommended Firehouse Roofing for the repairs. Well it's rained three times since they "repaired" my roof and each time it rains the roof still leaks in the same spot even though they said they fixed it. The first time they came out they upsold me to $4,000 in "roof repairs". Since the original item still isn't fixed I have to question everything else they supposedly "fixed" on my roof. just letting you know Milestone so you don't put any of your other customers through what I have been throug.
I was satisfied with Scott and for him detecting the simple issue that wound up being totally unrelated to what I had been thinking it was. While I suspected the diagnosis would be simple, I was flabbergasted for what it turned out to be. While Scott nevertheless investigated our system, made recommendations, and offered estimates, at present I will reflect and consider them, but for now will hold off going forward since the other unrelated source of the beeping issue was determined and is much much easier to resolve for now. I will review within the 90 days offered.
Luis serviced my HVAC unit for my complimentary tune up and provided excellent service. He was descriptive and clear when describing the steps he took and what needs to be done. I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to HVAC systems, but he explained it in a way I could understand and offered to speak to my father on the phone to explain it to him as well. He shared a detailed video of his findings for reference at the end of the service. Overall, I'm impressed with the level of service I received today, and I'm happy to be a member.
Lupe Mata came out on a Sunday to diagnose why our ,heat pump and air handler weren't communicating, therefore no cool air. Worked all afternoon diagnosing both units and making corrections. We had cool air and he did not leave until it was consistent for about an hour. Appreciated his dedication to finding out what the problem was and trying to solve it so our air would go from 80° down to maybe 75 or better? No charge for this particular service.Lupe ordered the part and came back the next week to install it. Once again no charge.
My tech was very thorough and took time to verify the equipment was working correctly and that there were no issues to investigate. He took time to explain everything he was doing and why. I am very impressed with his his honesty and sincerity AC systems require periodic maintenance to ensure that the system works correctly to last as long as possible. Yes, that includes changing the filters as often as recommended. If you find yourself needing a proper AC co , give Milestone a chance to earn your business. 5 stars.
I had a great experience with Milestone. Scheduling was easy and when they dispatch a technician they send you a curtesy message with a link to track your technician’s ETA live time! Roldan was my technician and he was great. Very informative and straightforward. He was also very transparent about cost associated with certain jobs and made sure I didn’t pay for unnecessary work. Overall the quote I received was fair market price but Roldan’s professionalism put them over the top for me. I would recommend this company!
I’m a senior. My service man was clean, polite, knowledgeable, quick and neat. He was very informative regarding my issues and helped with long term preventative solutions and facilitated getting what I needed done and quickly. Great job. My second service tech handled an upgrade to my system. He was another bright skilled technician that arrived, went right to work and did another great job. Overall I am delighted with the rapid profession service people and the completed job.
Our technician James M. performed a very thorough AC tune-up for both of my AC units. They’re running at peak cool airflow now! James was extremely polite and very knowledgeable. he explained everything up front, answered questions thoroughly. I’ve been a Milestone member for about a year, they are among the best AC companies Ive hired in DFW area. Their prices are higher than average, my only complaint. however their 6 year warranty provides me peace of mind.
