“My 78 year old mother, who lives alone, has used Mendel for years. Recently moved and had them come inspect the furnace. Technician said it was fine and just needed servicing. A couple months later, the furnace seemed loud, so she had another tech come out. This guy said the furnace (less than 10 years old) had deadly problems. Actually turned the unit off and said he did not want to be in the house with the unit on. Said needed full replacement right away. A sales person came out later that day and quoted $25,000+ for new furnace and install.”
