When I called for service the lady was very nice on the phone. She had a tech at my house, within a couple of hours. He called beforehand, and he was very nice & courteous. He fixed the problem quickly, and didn’t try gouge, some local long time plumbers do. We will definitely be using them again.
Highly recommend. Furnace went out. Called Mccoys and the tech Abby arrived, diagnosed the problem, and had it fixed in no time. Kept us posted every step of the way. Will definitely use them going forward.
We called McCoy to come clean the evaporator coil on our unit which had, apparently, never been serviced. Abbie was the technician who arrived promptly on time. She was very professional, friendly, and respectful of our property. She not only cleaned the evaporator coil but also completely washed our unit and cleaned the A/C coils around the top. We were very pleased with all aspects of Abbie’s work and will surely be using McCoy Heating, Air, and Plumbing again. Update 2/25/2026 - Jonah came to do our semi-annual inspection and maintenance. Very polite and professional. We continue to be pleased with McCoy.
These people sent a child to evaluate our problem (service call $90.00) he was here 40 min. Replaced a LIMIT SWITCH (a 10 dollar part). Our bill came to $256.00. Tried to ask why so much and he could not explain it. Called the Office and politely (on recording-mine) ask to speak to the Mgr. or owner PERIOD. Thomas got on the phone and started the car dealer rap to try and convince me that 90 + 10 = 256. I ask for a detailed record and he got nasty. Said he was a Marine (as if that was threatening) and told me that he don't need my business and I was disrespectful to the girl that answered the phone. My recording proves different. since we are ICED IN, I invited Thomas to come and talk to me about it. His reply was "I am not going to do that." MY reply was "I DID NOT THINK YOU WOULD" Repair persons are to (evaluate and make sure all is well before leaving. Now we have leaking gas in the house and my wife called and was told to call JEA that McCoy only did an electric repair. Now we have very dangerous situation where we did not. Talked to Tracy Spann/McCoy and she was very supportive of her staff...did not care about customer at all. This is recorded also. After their response I can also call them liars. Have never had any other service in Jackson as we have only been here 6 months. LIARS 1st class. Furthermore, the only thing they were threatened with is exposure of a rip off and stupidity;
Service tech was awesome we got caught in the ice storm we live in the country roads were not cleared and he came and did not want to try to come up our driveway so he parked at the road and walked up to our house which sits 4 acres off the road anyone else would have called and said they could not get here. He had to walk back to his truck a couple of times but had us going in no time and we are very grateful for him
