My experience with Levine & Sons began with one of their salesmen named Nate after I interfaced with one of their technicians who performed a checkup on my furnace. Long-to-short, an old leaky A/C coil shortened the life of a newer furnace. The tech recommended the furnace not be used due to a compromised Heat Exchanger. The cost of repair prompted me to pursue replacement instead. Not just the furnace but also the A/C (problem child) as well as the water heater. Major equipment and expensive work. Nate came by after the inspection, same day, and asked what I wanted in a new HVAC system. He shared his knowledge and opinion as we spoke in front of my old equipment in the basement. I shared my concerns for efficiency and durability in the product. He created a quote and reviewed it with me while sharing that Levine & Sons had a deferred payment option for consideration to help reduce the cost impact. The final cost was close to $20k, per my specifications, so I split the cost between my credit card and the payment plan. That was about a week ago. Today, the technicians showed up about 8:30 am and went to work removing the old furnace and A/C. Then they installed the new furnace, A/C, condenser (outside), and I updated my water heater to a 75 gal tank. The crew consisting of Jay, Rudy, Jeff, Zach and Aaron (plumbing) finished just before 5 pm today (4/2/26). They were on time, professional, knowledgeable, had care for the equipment and my home, and they smiled while answering my questions. My experience was excellent and I would recommend their services to anyone looking to replace or repair any of the items I mentioned here. I had a very positive experience!
Great communication with scheduling and labor of the project. Knowledgeable, experienced and friendly employees. Take great pride in protecting your home from dirt and damage and clean up well. Stayed on schedule and communicated ahead of time if project was going longer than expected. Easy to trust them in your home when you’re not there.
This past Wednesday I woke up on the coldest day so far this year, to a 62 degree home. The furnace was blowing frigid air. When I went down in to the basement to see who had previously worked on the system, there were several stickers and magnets from various HVAC companies. Luckily, I decided to call Levine. From the person who answered the phone all the way through to the installation of a new furnace yesterday, the experience consistently exceeded expectations. Chaim was dispatched to diagnose and repair the problem. I was told that he would be arriving mid-afternoon but called and asked if he could come several hours earlier; a pleasant surprise. Chaim was very professional. He was able to get the furnace restarted as a temporary solution but explained that I needed a new one. It was a 22 year old system. Chaim arranged for an estimator to come by later that afternoon. The service was great and the handoff was seamless. Nate arrived on time and spent the time to help me find the best solution for my home. He asked thoughtful questions and really understood my needs and budget. Again - I was very impressed with the Levine team. Nate arranged for the installation and again, the handoff was seamless. Jerry and his helper arrived yesterday on time. They removed the old unit and installed a new high efficiency unit. They did a great job and I had nice warm house last night. I decided to replace the AC unit since it was 22 years old too so they will come back on Wednesday to install that and a smart thermostat. I expect that will go well too. In a time of declining service delivery, Levine and their staff is a real exception. Great job Chaim, Nate and Jerry!
