I highly recommend Jim’s Plumbing Now for any sewer and/or water line issues. I had a major sewer line issue and their team was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. From the initial inspection using camera technology, to tunneling under the house, to locating the issue and the final repair, Chris, explained every step along the way. The team was on time, they worked very efficiently and were very careful to minimize the disruption to my yard.. The price was fair and there were no last-minute unexpected fees. If you need sewer and/or water line work done right, call Jim’s Plumbing Now. Be sure to ask for Chris, who did an outstanding job!!! Thanks Chris!
Great job. James came to the job early and stayed late in order to have the job completed before the predicted ice storm. I found the price reasonable. The area was pristine when completed and he spent time explaining the vagaries of the water heater in detail. James was pleasant and professional and I will certainly call Jim’s Plumbing for any further plumbing needs for my home or my rental units. Susan Donohoe
Larry is amazing! He is so nice and informative. I had talked to some other companies but they were trying to make me pay an extraordinary amount of money and still didn’t know what was wrong. He came in and solved it and the cost was great and not what the other people said. I will use this company from now on! Larry is the best! He knows his stuff and works hard.
Called to get my water heater serviced. I was told that there will not be a charge to get an estimate. The plumber on duty told us that he had to get a diagnostic from the manufacturer that was going to cost $800. Once we declined he proceeded to charge $69 after I was told there was no charge unless work was done.
I have mixed feelings about this company. The front office staff handled my initial call professionally, showed concern for the issue, and scheduled service without charging a service call fee. They offered a two-hour arrival window for a 10:00 a.m. appointment on Friday, but the technician arrived 12:45. I only learned about the delay after I contacted the office, which created unnecessary frustration. The plumber arrived and quoted more than $400 to clear the drain, which felt excessive. Given that the sink would not drain, I approved the work. The technician used a handheld drill with a drain snake and required four attempts to clear the clog. After completing the work, my wife noted a gurgling noise coming from the drain. The plumber referenced a six-month warranty but did not address the noise before leaving, which left the job feeling incomplete. Afterward, I learned that similar work typically costs closer to $100 plus a service call fee, which made the pricing even more concerning. Based on this experience, I do not plan to use this company again.
If you're in the area they service you have found your plumbers! We won't be using anyone else after the great experience we had with them. Dexter responded to my message almost immediately, set up a time for them to come out to give me an estimate to fix the leaking pipes beneath my kitchen sink. The day they came they were running behind because of the previous job & called to let me know --- even though they still showed up within the time frame we'd set. He sent me a written estimate via email that evening. I called the next day & we scheduled the day & time for the repairs. They showed up on time, had everything they needed, & explained to me what they were doing before setting to work. Before I knew it they had finished because a few of the leaks were simply loose connections. Since they didn't replace any of the connections that just needed tightening they adjusted my bill to reflect the price for only the work they did. I would never have known the difference but they're honest & I appreciate that even more than having water restored to my home so quickly. They checked everything over again with the water at full pressure before being satisfied with their work. Above & Beyond --- When I went to get my card to pay them I found my bathroom flooding because after the water had been turned on the toilet was overflowing. Dexter put the float back on the arm in the tank & I grabbed towels but Sam grabbed their shopvac & cleaned up all the water for me. No extra charge just excellent care of a customer. We will always call Dexter & Sam for our plumbing needs. I recommend you do too.
My wife and I discovered a leaking faucet in one of the showers in our home which was built in 1959. We replaced the washers on our valves, which did not fix the problem and spent two days canvassing the Puget Sound area to find new valves, to no avail. So, we called Jr's plumbing, as they are a local company and have outstanding reviews. We made an appointment and had to wait a few days due to the holiday weekend, in addition to their busy schedule. As we all know, plumbers are in high demand. On the day of our appointment, we were given a 3 hour window and within the first hour we received a call from Caleb, saying he will be at our residence within 15 minutes, and true to his word he was on our doorstep. Caleb explained the issue and offered dual options to address our problem. We agreed on the best solution and knowing that it was going to be a little more work than we expected, Caleb agreed to return the next day at our predetermined time. Once again, he called to notify us he was 15 minutes away and again on time. It is absolutely refreshing to have a company/professional, say what they are going to do and actually do it. We couldn't be more pleased with the timely service, value and caring attitude we received from Jr's and Caleb. We highly recommend them.
I used yelp solely to find my emergency plumbing needs. I started my search early in the morning around 5:45am and they responded to my messages at 7:30. They immediately were able to provide a quote for our over flowed/backed up toilet, which was leaking at the wax ring all over the bathroom floor. They were able to come by the same day and fix the clogged/backed up toilet. They fixed the toilet that was rocking by adding wedges to keep it stable, and replaced the wax ring to ensure no more leaks. $380.00 seemed steep for a snake job but being able to fit us in same day made it worth it. The two guys that came out were very helpful, friendly, and efficient. My only complaint was that they didn't have uniforms identifying them as part of this plumbing company. Anyone in the service field should be easily identified to their brand by a uniform so it doesn't look like its just a random stranger walking up to your door. I saw them come out of their work van and that was the only reason I felt comfortable letting them in without any identification tying the back to the plumbing company.
I had a great experience with Jim’s Plumbing. The service number staff had excellent communication and made scheduling easy from start to finish. The technician, Malik, was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to clearly explain the problem I was having. He did a great job addressing my concerns and making sure everything was handled properly. I’m very satisfied with the service and would definitely recommend Jim’s Plumbing. UPDATE: I called Jim’s Plumbing to do some more work for me. I needed a new water heater and some work done on my outside hose bibs. Review following: I had a great experience with Jim’s Plumbing. The contractor, Malik, was very knowledgeable about his duties and was able to problem-solve with ease. He was communicative throughout the process and very pleasant to speak with. Overall, he did an outstanding job, and I would highly recommend Jim’s Plumbing. Old pics versus new water heater.
I am a huge fan of these guys. Bad experience - I had called a plumber to come find out about my water heater. it was not working and was only a couple years old. They tried to get me to replace it for well over 1500. But to give me a quote to fix it...... After waiting a long time (week and a half) to get a final price - I was frustrated. BTW it was over $1200 to fix with no guarantee. GOOD EXPERIENCE - JR's Plumbing I called JRS and they were most helpful. they sent someone out who checked it out and simply had to light my water heater. there was no problem with my water heater, turns out the city was doing something to the line in the street. JRS got me fire in my water heater and charged me nothing. they made a couple recommendations for improvements to make the house more sell able. when I need a plumber - I am calling these guys first, no more wasting my time with those other fools.
So you may be wondering how on Earth did these guys manage to get 38 five star reviews, and why am I writing a 39th? Grab a snack and listen.... I asked for three bids, and Joe came out to do the bid. I immediately liked him - he was positive and communicative. He was also the first to notice I had a gas line he could tap into making the job not only lower cost, but also limit the amount of external piping required. They came out and conquered the job in one day flat, and now I have a gas range, a spot for my gas BBQ, but also a future hot tub when I win the lotto. The other two bidders--one was in the ballpark but the other was definitely smoking something now legal in our fine state as they were triple the final cost. To note i wasn't necessarily looking for the lowest bid, but they just happened to have the lowest. It was quality work at an amazing price. You should really hire Joe at Jr's.
Amazing experience & totally recommend, especially if you're in the Renton/Highlands/Kennydale area! These guys came out first thing on a Sunday morning to fix my leaking pipe. The crazy thing is that I didn't tell them about it until 9pm the night before (a Saturday night). The BEST thing is that I didn't have to talk to them on the phone. Who wants to use the phone??? Who wants to call around and get quotes? Yuck! I posted for help via Yelp's automated system and got a message right away on the app. We texted long enough for them to get a feel for my issue and make a plan for them to come out the next morning. They were on time, they were professional, they were able to use parts they had in their truck, they were quick, and they fixed the problem on the first try. What more can you ask for? Water damage sucks but at least now you can call someone who doesn't.
I would give JR`s Plumbing 5 more stars if I could! WoW I was impressed which is not easy to do at my age. From the text reminding me of my appointment and that the plumber was on his way and will arrive on time! Dexter was extremely knowledgeable He explained and explained with patiences (I`m not plumbing savvy) what he could do and couldn`t do. He did the work repairing the leaks with a sense of urgency ( no diddle daddle to raise hourly price) and he cleaned his area, plus gave me suggestions (I require a appliance repair for dishwasher). All for a fair, and resonable price plus guaranteed his work in writing. I now have a plumber I trust. I will definitly be using JR`s Plumbing again and will pass on to family, friends and neighbors. Thanks JR`s Plumbing!
I am in a state of shock right now. I had an 11am appointment and the plumber didn't arrive until 12:30pm to check out my clogged bathroom sink. When he got here he wanted to check the pop up in the drain before snaking it, which required unscrewing some pieces under the sink (I wish I knew how to do this myself.) Turns out there was a huge clump of hair attached to the drain. Problem solved. He was here maybe 10 minutes and then asked for a check for $120. He said he could have run a snake and charged me $285- as if I should really be thankful his hair ball removal only cost $120. He asked that the check be written to Twin Towers Plumbing, so I don't know if Jr's sent another company since it seems maybe he forgot my 11am appointment in the first place?
Very honest and helpful. They don't charge to come out and give a quote like some companies and they went above and beyond checking all possible issues for me. They even checked my water pressure. They explained things in a way I could understand and gave me options for a temporary 1-2 year fix and long term fixes. Best part is no quote on the spot, JR and team went back to the office looked up part costs, calculated labor time, multiplied that by best case scenario and worst case. This gave me an accurate, fair, and conscience quote. Unlike some companies who throw out a dollar number and then you end up with double because of XY&Z and you've already started the work so there's no going back.......This won't happen with these guys.
