Thomas Pride did an excellent job of inspecting our HVAC system. Upon inspection a bid for replacement of a plenum duct above the HVAC unit was submitted which I may have done in future. At this time the system works perfectly so no repair was scheduled. Thomas was very thorough in explaining that the HVAC system was clean and working proper internally. Part of the inspection was to replace three return air filters. This will satisfy our warranty with the LENNOX product manufacturer. Thanks go to Thomas Pride for a job well done. Jerry Carrier
Jaxon was super helpful. Did a full inspection of our system and gave honest recommendations on what is needed and why. Showed me photos and measurements. Very thorough. The office is also very pleasant to work with. They’re the first I call for any HVAC needs in cottonwood.
The service technician, Moe, was prompt, professional and cordial. During his inspection he reviewed the options for further maintenance and upgrade. He gave the pros and cons of each system in regards to my situation and hvac needs. He was knowledgeable and clear in his presentation. I felt very comfortable with my decision in going forward with his recommendation. Thank you. Jg
Had Goettl's come out to address our heater being broken. It ended up being a circuit board problem... We were quoted 2114 dollars to fix it. It is a 300 dollar part so I guess labor was 1800 bucks!? That's with our amazing 373 dollar member savings. He also proceeded to go around the house and photo the whole system trying to upsell us on new AC parts and fixes. Our membership was cancelled and we ended up calling about the pricing issue and were told a supervisor would call us. That didn't happen. Chino Valley Heating and Cooling did the repair for 630 dollars with overnight shipping for the part. This place is purely commsioned based as the prices would suggest. Edit as of April 1, they never called me about my experience as they stated they would in their response.
The prices are very high, but the quality of the work doesn’t match the cost. After doing some research, I found that most of the lead installation technicians are not EPA certified. Something I consider a major red flag. Without this certification, most of the lead tech installer are not qualified to work on HVAC systems or handle refrigerants. I’d recommend verifying credentials before committing.
From the moment we inquired about a new heating and air conditioning unit from GOETTL'S to installation completion, we have been thoroughly impressed with the level of professionalism maintained by every person we've encountered. Max came out to give us an estimate, and we immediately felt a connection with him. His honesty, integrity, and loyalty to GOETTL'S are attributes one seeks in a professional project manager. Caesar was the next person who was involved. He came out to evaluate the scope of work and to confirm all that was needed to get the job done. Marvin, Joseph, and Alex definitely were the "A-Team" of installers. They worked very effectively as a team, but each had his own specific responsibilities. After a recent nightmare home renovation project, GOETTL'S has restored our faith and confidence in professional contractors.
Technician Review John Schaffer John was dispatched later the same day as my call for assistance. 30 minute arrival notification with online map of travel progress. John listened to my explanation and immediately began his testing and analysis. Intelligent, experienced, detail oriented. Excellent professional. This was a second opinion service call after my HVAC split system was pronounced dead and non recoverable. John determined that the unit could be made operable and proceeded to fine tune the installation. After comparing all the electronic status values with the OEM specs, I chose one of the many options within my budget. Arrived at 5 pm and finished at 9 pm. Saved us $15,394.60. I will recommend Goettl and especially John Schaffer to anyone.
Thomas Pride arrived first thing in the morning to do our “Annual Maintenance” schedule. Everything was OK and clean except that he found a couple of issues that we could address later. Thomas was very professional and knowledgeable about AC Maintenance, its mechanics and functions. He even taught me how to disengage the power properly if I need to hose down our outdoor unit. He also took photos for me using my iPhone up in the attic where the furnace is located. Regarding the plumbing, he said he will send someone else to check on our plumbing since he is not a plumber. Hopefully that will be completed before we leave but it can also be done when we return after 4 months. We did not pay anything for this service. Thank you very much!
This was our 1st appointment for service/maintenance with Goettl. Thomas arrived on time for the inspection and was ready to answer any questions. At first we let him get on with his work and he kept us informed of every step he took. Eventually yes we asked as he went along with his duties and he answered every question with knowledge and patience. We were better informed about what to look and watch out for during the year for the next scheduled maintenance. All in all we were very satisfied with Thomas's experience, knowledge and professionalism.
We had our Annual HVAC service proformed and had a ion air purifier added to our system. Our system is located in our crawl space under the house. Thomas in layman's terms showed us pictures of our system and explained what they showed. As a engineer and a trained observer, Thomas Is an asset to Goettl, It'd be a better world if others business invested in there employees like Goettl does. God bless. $99 Annual HVAC service $1,500 Ion air purifier with installation.
John was great with Quick service and found the problem super quick. I would use them again for sure. The tech that came out was knowledgeable and able to answer my million questions. He gave me every option and explained each one with detail. I ended up opting for a new system as my current one is 30+ years old. The service fee was all I paid for checking out my system. They even lent me some portable AC units to use until they put my new system in.
On Sunday, February 1 we noticed water seeping from our ceiling in the area where our furnace was located. We called the service number and Rafael, a technician, was dispatched and arrived from the Camp Verde area within 90 minutes. He immediately diagnosed the issue and made the necessary repairs. He communicated with us through the entire process. Not only would we highly recommend Goettl for routine maintenance, but Rafael for special repairs.
We had our yearly maintenance check completed and couldn’t be more pleased with the service. Thomas was extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and took the time to patiently explain what was needed for our unit in a way that was easy to understand. We never felt rushed, and all of our questions were answered clearly. It’s refreshing to work with someone who is both professional and genuinely cares about doing the job right. Highly recommend!
Jaxson Pratt was a phenomenal representation of what an HVAC professional should be! He was thorough, courteous, informative, and enjoyable to converse with about what he did, what we should look out for with our system and gave us options of what is the most up to date things we could do to improve our existing system and how we can take care of our system to last a for a very long time! Thank you Goettl’s and thank you Jaxson Pratt.
Super impressed with Goettl’s High Desert Mechanical. They were able to squeeze us in for a service call. John Schaffer was the gentleman who came to service our HVAC unit. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He tested and replaced all the parts needed. We were very pleased with this technician and would definitely recommend him and Goettl’s to family and friends. I’d give John 10 stars if available Thank you so much.
