The evidence — in reviewers' own words
Critical
“We have just had our winter visit on our maintenance contract. During this visit two capacitors were replaced, one on each of two furnace units, and we were billed $273.71. We checked on the internet and found these exact same capacitors for $10 each plus whatever shipping. We contacted their service manager who agreed to reduce the charge to $90 for the two capacitors. This is a move in the right direction, tho …”
“I was astonished at the prices they charged me for my last service. I should have said I need an alternative estimate. They have been servicing my unit since new 2019. It's been hit and miss. I will not trust them in the future to service a long term customer they also wouldn't give me an itemized bill. To me that's an indication of being deceptive. Fortunately my unit , has worked well as it is relatively new and …”
“I waited a year to post this review to make sure that the repair done to my air conditioning unit (by a different company) would last over the seasons. In May of 2022, I had Goettl's come out to perform a routine service of my air conditioning unit. The technician that came to the house told me that I needed to have another piece of equipment added to my AC unit at the cost of almost $300.00. He also set me up with …”
Positive
“He is an outstanding tech and knowledgeable in his field. I would probably get all the services recommended by him done but Goettles and me are not a match…I can afford the pricing but will not spend the premium they ask for. As an example a quick disconnect for or 5 ton unit had a broken buss connection. I rxed a quote for $1200. A new box can be had at Home Depot for $18 and an electrician for another $120. Ten …”
“Excellent experience having the HVAC equipment thoroughly inspected and diagnosed by Jeremy Tilden, with Goettl's Desert Mechanical. He was knowledgeable, and did a great job not only taking photos of the equipment that needed to be repaired/serviced, but also explaining it to me in easy to understand terms. Jeremy was thorough, pleasant, and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!”
