We were ultimately told in a rather rude email that they would only do the plumbing portion of our project if we used their recommended remodeling company for the remainder - and that company is booked out 4 months ahead. “The owner of this company is out of his mind. I asked for an estimate to install a four piece tub and shower wall surround, with the parts being $1,500. He quoted $8,500 for the total job. Said it was a 10 hour job, and the reason for the high cost was because he was going to have to spend so much time at the supply house to find a perfect tub without any flaws. I immediately contacted the next Plumber in line, …”

The guy who answered the phone seemed to be trying to talk me out of getting the work done because of the high cost. ? He told me the owner would call me back today to schedule.
