Very easy and quick scheduling- same day! David was fantastic. He stayed late on a Friday to make sure the leak was fully repaired and took the time to explain everything clearly. You can tell he’s a good guy who cares about doing the job right. Really appreciated his professionalism and dedication.
Thomas Ramthun from Eco Plumbers was absolutely amazing. He was efficient, professional, and extremely courteous while working in my home. He fixed a major issue where my A/C vents beneath an addition of my home had been completely torn apart by raccoons, and he handled it with skill and care from start to finish. Thomas took the time to explain the problem, walked me through the solution, and completed the work quickly and thoroughly. He treated my home with respect and made sure everything was done right. His professionalism and attention to detail truly stood out. I highly recommend Thomas Ramthun and Eco Plumbers for outstanding, reliable service.
Amazing company! Dalton was an expert installer! (his work in pics) Removed old water heater and had new unit installed within the same day! I absolutely recommend this company!
I recently hired Eco Plumbers and felt that I paid a higher-than-average price with the expectation of receiving higher-quality work. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t match that expectation. Instead of removing the old piping and installing new lines to properly fit the new water heater, the technician retrofitted everything onto the existing setup, which led to work that didn’t look as clean or well-planned as I had hoped. A few weeks later, I noticed my wood trim was warm to the touch because the water heater had been placed directly against the wall. When I requested a follow-up visit, the technician was argumentative about repositioning it. I even shared photos of a neighbor’s nearly identical layout where the heater fit properly, but the technician still pushed back. He eventually adjusted the unit by draining it and pushing it forward, without reworking the piping that should have been addressed initially. This left the pipes bent and angled awkwardly going into the heater. For the price I paid, I expected a more professional finish and a smoother experience. Additionally, during installation I was told by their HVAC technician that I needed a completely new flue. However, when the city inspector arrived to approve the water heater, she informed me that a new flue was not required. This left me feeling uncertain about the guidance I received. Overall, based on my experience, the work felt rushed and not as thorough as I expected given the cost. I hope the company takes feedback like this seriously, as quality workmanship and clear communication make a major difference for customers.
6/2/26- We have used ECO Plumbers several times and spent THOUSANDS - very unhappy with their level of experience. Recently missed 2 scheduled appointments the week of May 24th 2026 (each appointment was a 4 hour window - 8 hours of my time last week wasted!) The second rescheduled appointment - the technician showed up 40 minutes after the appointment and apologized and requested a manager to call and that was on 5/29/26. They will get you on the schedule and now feeling there are other companies that respect your time and money. Going back several years of communication- they indeed had an ongoing issue with missing appointments. The OWNER and management needs to address this and own this because their values falls short of what they preach. Update 6/3/25- we (customer care and I) are working together for a peaceful resolution and once scope of work is complete I will update this review.
5/26/26... I called Eco today spoke with AI John. I explained my issue. It was actually done in Oct. 2025 by Parker replacing our tub drain. I'm a advantage member. I've noticed more standing water in our tub every time we bathe or shower. It doesn't all go down the drain. I've set an appt. for tomorrow 12-4pm for a tech to fix this issue. 5/27/26... Eric came today he used a screwdriver and my qtips to clear the drain. Caleb called and resolved it 🙏 4/22/26... I called back today spoke with Maria A HUMAN- NOT AI John!! Maria was very polite she has my AC check up and Furnace check up scheduled. I signed up for their Advantage Plan. I asked Maria to cancel the plan when it expires in October. Hopefully all goes well with my appts 🙏🏻 11/3/25... I called Eco this morning John answered my questions politely and he was professional. I hope to hear from the Eco tech that is due here 8am-12pm to drain and flush the water tank. I also expect a call to confirm what Brent told me last Thurs. Re-free drain clear with the Advantage Membership. Which cost $280.00 for a year of their many services. I was told by Brian on Weds last week that I had to use my free drain clear that evening that we just purchased for the $280.00 pkg. I said that to Brent on Thurs the very next day. He said he would take care of that for me. He said"I have some pull, I've been with the company since 2007" We'll see about that? Btw... Again Brian left my water bib on all night. It states in the Advantage Membership the tech will be making it 100% right as to the way they found it. That didn't happen!! A tech that went by the name Z came to drain our water tank. NO ISSUES in draining. We didn't even need to flush out the tank. However he didn't light the pilot light properly. My husband had to show him how to do it 😐 Hopefully it will stay lit now!! 10/21/25... I called the office Allie answered she was very polite and helpful. It's 9:45am and their tech is here to clear our tub. His name is Cecil very nice and professional. I appreciate the prompt service and a honest tech! Cecil recommended a service contract that allows us to have many things done to improve our home. Thank you Cecil. Unfortunately the bathtub is still not useable because of old pipes 😞a drain advisor is due here this afternoon 🙏 I was given a window between 12-4pm for a tech to address our old pipes. At 4pm Matt called me and said he would have to change my appointment for tomorrow at noon. I've edited this review from 5 stars to 3 stars, I'm not happy with the way this company has treated my situation. We'll see what happens tomorrow? 10/22/25... Nolan from Eco Plumbers came today re- our old pipes. We have them coming back tomorrow to start the replacement of the old pipes. 10/23/25.... This morning we have Parker replacing old pipes in our utility closet and our bathroom tub/shower. So far so good he's very knowledgeable and polite. Hopefully our home will be much better with the new piping! 10/22/25.... 6:20pm I did a load of laundry and our tub backed up with black slug, our bathroom floor was flooded, our toilet water over flowed. It was horrible! I contacted Nolan the tech that was here earlier today. He responded quickly and we had a new tech Brian did a clear out on our back patio. Brian cabled it, he went down 100 feet to clean out our clear out our main drain sewer line. Brian was very determined to get our issue right!! Brian unfortunately left our hose bib on all night 😞 10/24/25.... Chaz and Mark are here Hydro Jetting our main clear out drain at a cost of $1,558.80! It's really been a long week with Eco Plumbers everyday 😜 We're expecting Parker back for the inspection sometime today. Hopefully they'll be done by the weekend!! The cost for replacement of pipes $5,094.00! Parker and the city inspection went very well. As of 8/11... We were able to get the job done today at a very inexpensive cost 😊 I called Thursday 8/6 they can't get to our house until Wednesday 8/12 between 8am to 6pm HUGE window 😕 We'll see how it goes when they finally get here?
****** Malik Smith came today to do an annual check or the heating system. He was friendly, polite and seemed to be very skilled and knowledgeable of his job. He recommended an update to the system to prevent corrosion. I agreed to the modification. He installed the kit and explained what he had done and how it worked. I asked a question that was more business related than technical, He referred it to his manager who called promptly and explained the situation to my understanding and satisfaction. ★★★★ Jordan came today to install a new toilet. He was friendly, polite and obviously very skilled at his job. As he was working he explained in easily understood terms what he was doing and the importance of the step. He meticulously checked and rechecked measurements and placement to make sure everything was right. Great personality, skills and professionalism. Thanks for a great job and pleasant experience! ★★★★★ Cameron came to check out the heating system. Went well. Great work. Highly recommend him and ECO. Shane was professional and friendly. He explained his findings very clearly. Chad was great too. Very knowledgeable, open and honest. They are a really good team. Christnam and his team (Arcee,Greg and James) came to install the new system. They were very knowledgeable and able to explain things in layman terms. Friendly, courteous and industrious. The dream team deserves 5*s plus! Had a minor issue and James came out to check. Everything is good. James was friendly, courteous and knew what he was doing. Great service like I expect when I call ECO.
Very good! Anthony and Lenny was polite, friendly and considerate of our home. Thhey both explained everything that was happening with our furance and what needed to be done. Helped us to pick what we needed for our situation. Answered all of our questions throughly. Would definitely call again for help with our furance! *****Brion and Arthur installed our new furance today. They were very friendly and hard working. Everything was explained to us in what was going on with the installation. They did a great job and we are happy with our new furance. Thank you Eco for keeping our heat going!!! ******Derek was here today to install a new thermostat. He was very friendly and efficient. He was great to work with. Did a wonderful job explaining how our new thermostat works. Thank you to all the Eco team members for all your hard work!! ******Today Nathaniel was at our home to replace a wellpump. He did a great job!! Our wellpump that was here when we bought the home was starting to have problems. Nathaniel put a new wellpump and pressure tank in. He put the pump and tank in the way the old pump should have been. He explained and made sure everything was working the way it should. He was knowledgeable and very polite!! Thank you Eco for helping us again!!!!
Had a technician come out to assess my HVAC system not working. First technician seemed fair and straight forward. Said would be over $2300 to repair. Since my system is 16 years old he suggested a new system. But said it would be a minimum of $10,000. He scheduled another tech to come and give me an estimate . The problem arose when that technician “Nick Martin” called me before his scheduled arrival. First thing he asked how I’d be financing, I stated I would be paying cash for it all up front. He seemed to be upset that I would not finance and after that he was condescending and argumentative. Nick told me that it would likely be $13,000 but could be up to 15 to $20,000. I stated that google clearly shows that the average cost of a new split system in mid Ohio is between 7 and $12,000, with the average being $7,100. (See screenshot) I had previously used eco plumbers for a plumbing issue so I tried using them for my HVAC issue. After my experience with “Nick” they lost a repeat and potential lifelong customer. I do not appreciate being called a liar when I have proof in writing and definitely do not like being played as a fool. I do not recommend
Wow!! All these great reviews except a couple. Not from me though. I called for service thursday May 21 around 11am to replace the hot water shutoff valve to the dishwasher. Had appt. 12-4 that day. My daughter owns the property and she gave consent as I reside at the property and responsible for repairs. I kept checking all afternoon with AI Ted and was assured I was next in line. At 5 I texted and called and went ahead and scheduled for friday 12-4. Friday I received message around 10:30 that my daughter had to call. She did. I got a confirmation that I was on the schedule yesterday. Around 4 I called and was informed that there was no record of any appts at my address. I was livid. I was offered an appt today between 6 and 10pm or Sunday. I refused to schedule as I can imagine what that charge will be as they charge 300 up front. I have hadECO in the past with no problems. I will use another company that values their customers. I hope this review helps someone else in choosing a plumber.
I would rate Anthony’s performance 6 out of 5 stars. He called ahead 30 minutes before his arrival . He was cordial, professional and knowledgable. His deliberate communication style and pleasant demeanor made him easy to talk and listen to. He explained the plan using examples that were relevant to my project. Once the installation was complete he invited my wife and I to examine the results as he went over what he’d done and ask for any question. He then removed the floor covering that he used to keep our floors and stairs clean, thanked and wished us well and took off. Robert Crowder was very polite, knowledgeable and professional. He immediately diagnosed my water heater issues with me next to him and made it easily understandable. Likewise, he laid out my options for resolving the problems he found without coming off as salesy or pushy. No pressure whatsoever. I was very impressed with his approach.
Normally I call Eco when I need something done quickly. I had a plumbing emergency last night and was told that they could have someone out between 8 am and noon today. No one showed up, no one called, and no one answered their phone when I tried to call. A rep eventually called me, gas lit me about my appointment, and offered the basic coupon on the website for the inconvenience. Overall, Eco is expensive, unreliable, has iffy customer service, and I can't really recommend that anyone use their services.
Michael Schoen arrived at my home on a rainy Sunday afternoon. He introduced himself, he was friendly and kind. I explained my outdoor situation and based on his observation, it was obvious. He discussed a few options. We came to conclusion what needed to be done and agreed. Michael took the bull by the horns and got her done. In the rain, Two thumbs up. The job was quick and the price was Right. Thank you sir. A Happy customer, indeed. Peace.
Called made appointment took time off work to wait during the 4 hour window they gave. 2 minutes prior to time frame they have been busy and can’t make my appointment but can reschedule for next week. I heard good things about them but I was lied too. Very unprofessional if you know your busy early in day you have your customer service make arrangements for those you committed to. But no screw the people that schedule they will wait.
3+ weeks after Apex plumbing replaced the pressure tank for $4600 we lost all water to our home again. After a quote from Apex plumbing for another $5200 for repairs (no inspection of equipment) contacted ECO plumbing (advising them of problems) Technicians arrived, ran checks on equipment discovered malfunctions (dead short)corrected same. Replaced circuit breaker that kept popping and restored water service at the cost of $316.
