My technician for the service was named Michael. He was incredibly courteous and professional. He called ahead to inform me that he would be arriving a bit early, which I found to be a very considerate and thoughtful gesture. I highly recommend The Degree Company and would definitely use them
Carson was amazing to work with. I called Harp and they rescheduled on me twice. I called Degree and they were able to squeeze me in the next day early in the morning. Carson was able to find the issue right away and was gracious with the pricing. I will always go with this company. It was such a relief to get air when we were dealing with 90 degree weather without air for a few days. Thank you so much! I can’t recommend this company enough.
Daniel was professional, thorough, and went above and beyond during our A/C service visit. Not only did he carefully inspect and service the unit, but he also took the time to investigate another issue that may need future repair. His attention to detail, honesty, and willingness to help were greatly appreciated. Excellent service overall! Degree is the way to go.
I contacted this company to replace the belt on my furnace. I already knew the issue was the belt and even provided the exact belt size during the initial phone call. I was informed there would be a $100 service fee for them to come out, which I agreed to. When the technician arrived, he briefly looked at the furnace and then left to pick up the exact belt I had already specified over the phone. Before leaving, he quoted me $480 total for the service and part. Although I felt that price was high, I agreed due to the weather conditions and needing my heat restored quickly. The technician returned about 10 minutes later, installed the belt, and then informed me that the total cost was actually $612.58. The entire job took just under 21 minutes from start to finish. I questioned the increase since he had clearly quoted me $480 prior to leaving. He responded that he was new and had mistakenly quoted me the “member price,” adding that he was from New York and “they do things differently there.” While I understand that mistakes happen, the quoted price was $480, and that was the amount I agreed to. The company refused to honor the technician’s original quote, even though the error was made by their employee. To make matters worse, after doing some research, I discovered the same belt can be purchased on Amazon for approximately $34. Overall, this experience felt misleading and unprofessional. Clear and consistent pricing should be standard practice, especially in situations where customers are relying on urgent service. I would not recommend based on my experience.
What an amazing experience working with Degree. They were able to get me an appointment the same day and the technician Mike T even arrived ahead of time. Mike was not just thorough, knowledgable and extremely courteous, but he also wnet out of his way to explain everything in detail and even check our thermostat for issues and help troubleshoot. Since we were not at the house, Mike made sure to call multiple times to make sure I was comfortable with everything and had no further issues or concerns. An absolute 5 star experience and will definitely recommend Degree and Mike T for excellent service. Thank you guys !!
