John came out and installed a new hot water heater today. Pricing was fair, and John was professional, friendly, prompt and overall great. Thank you Butts Plumbing and John. You have my business going forward!

Samuel from Butts installed my two new replacement sump pumps and optimized the piping as well. Looks and works excellent. Services call price was very reasonable. Will use them for all my plumbing needs.

We have used Butts Plumbing twice now - both times Sam came out and did an excellent job. Super helpful, arrived on time, did the job at a reasonable price and even offered some tips and suggestions moving forward with our bathroom remodel. Thank you, Sam!

Called and requested a waterline to be installed for an icemaker in our fridge. An older guy came and measured. He never called and never came back. I would give zero stars if I could.

I am doing a bathroom remodel and I decided to use Butts Plumbing. They did such an amazing job on my refrigerator water line for ice. I wish I had just stayed right there. Well, because of the work on that line I decided to call them to fix my bathroom pipe. I called butts plumbing and the service manager, I believe his name was Jason, came out and said that the job would be between 350-400 dollars to remove the pipe and that if he had to cut down into my living room it would be more money. No problem there, because every quote I got at that point said 350 to 400. I chose them to do the job because I felt they were effecient and friendly from the last job. So, I got the estimate and the estimate read 525.00. I said to myself maybe it is because he added the wall already. At this point, I allowed the tech to come in to repair and because it was a Saturday I was charged an extra 50 dollars bringing the grand total to 575.00. I was okay with that because once again I thought this was a fair company. I was not home, away at a book signing event for my books, when they arrived, and my son paid the company. When I got home sure enough the pipe was gone which was awesome and they didn't have to cut into my living room from upstairs. Well....then the plot thickens.... but I received the same price as if they had cut through into my living room. I called and left a message to contact me because if you don't have to cut into my living room, then why do I have to pay the extra money as if you did. I got the call back Monday morning and was told they could take off 25.00 because that was the cost extra of cutting into the living room. LOL excuse me??? My remodeler even laughed (Because he cuts walls out and does it for more than 25.00). So, I politely told the lady on the other end that I chose them because I felt they were an honest company. Because you see someone spending money to get the bathroom redone, you believe that I have money to waste. Thank God that I do work and can afford these things to the best of my ability. I do not recommend this company based on the dishonesty of an evaluation which led them to overcharge in the beginning and then not drop the price when they didn't do what they should have done on the contract. By right I could have requested them to come back and cut the wall, then the contract would have been fulfilled or I could waste time with my lawyer because a contract was not fulfilled. The wall, by the way, still has to be cut and I still had to pay someone to cut the wall because the wall is damaged from the tub leaking down into my living room because of the broken pipe. Make sure you can be present at home when people like this drop by because had I been there, there would have been no way I would have allowed them to get my card information. The work was not completed and there was no price reduction since they did not need to cut the wall. The original price range given to me inside of the home, without having to cut the wall, was not honored. It is not about the money, as I am a registered nurse and published author, and have made that money back since working last night alone. It is about the priniciple of honesty. I have a wise car mechanic and he once said this, "I value relationship over money. Because if I treat my customers fairly and do not price hike them, they come back on their own because they trust my honesty and integrity." Guess what? The lines to his little mechanic shop is out the door every day. Maybe they can learn from him that integrity goes a long way. I have recommended them since my water line, and I have called those individuals to let them know to go elsewhere. This is my review. Blessings.

My husband and I cannot say enough good things about this company (Butts/now also connected with Meyer & Sons). From professionalism with showing up on time, neatness of the work performed and overall work ethic of the crew. We have several other companies we reached out to but Jason Cox, Joe and Tommy were by far the best choice! It’s never a fun way to spend money, especially when it is a main water line in the ground unseen, but they were very fair (as others were either unprofessional, too vague with their pricing, or blamed this larger leak on a small window unit air conditioner). I’m so happy we went with the company we did and have already recommended them to others. You don’t get a crew that’s playing on their cell phone, tossing cigarettes in your yard or unnecessarily tearing up your landscaping. They kept us updated immediately and worked with our city for final inspection same day. The City was also impressed with minimal yard damage from entry/exit point directional boring used. I grew up with construction and I respect quality. Why would we go anywhere else? Thank you! DiMauro Family

I called Butts Plumbing on a Saturday morning after one of my two water heaters went bad. I was going out of town so I needed this addressed immediately. The tank was bulging out, the expansion tank was defective, and the shut off valves were not working. I made the mistake of calling three other plumbing companies before Butts, which I will never do again. Two of the companies on call techs never called me back, and the other one couldn't make it out. Butts answered their phone, was responsive, came out within a couple hours, troubleshooted the problem, and fixed everything fast. Butts installed a new hot water tank, valves, and a new expansion tank. The technician was professional, knowledgeable, and provided outstanding customer service. He did not try to upsell me on anything, and the price was extremely reasonable for what was emergency service. I would highly recommend and I will not call another plumbing company other than Butts for service / repairs. Thanks.

While I was away my hot water heater went out. I told my property manager to try relighting it and if she couldn't get it re-lit to turn the gas off. She insisted on getting a plumber over to inspect it and get it working. She called butts and the plumber must've just assumed she was dumb and said the gas was just turned off. He got it re-lit and explained how to re-light it which is great. Now I get home and I inspect the tank and notice the reason the flame is going out is because it has a small leak. Now I'm not a plumber but I know a thing or two. I would assume a professional plumber would actually inspect the tank and find the root of the problem when they are called out instead of doing a quick fix. Obviously I need a new tank but I certainly won't be having them install it.

I am not one to write reviews much, but i had to for this and tell about my great experience. I had a leak in the housing of my shower faucet which made the shower not usable. I decided to call Butts Plumbing and it was the best decision I did. Not only were they prompt and had excellent communication, but Collin, my plumber was extremely professional, pleasant, knowledgeable, and through. I, also, could not believe on how little I actually was billed for. I, 100%, recommend these guys and will not hesitate to call in the future.

Just wanted to say how pleased I was today with the two plumbers that unclogged my basement floor drains. Both guys were very polite and knowledgeable to the situation I was experiencing. I never used Butts Plumbing before but will again when needed. I also recommend them to my family and friends going forward. Again these guys did a outstanding job and even cleaned up after they resolved the problem. So if you are looking for a reliable, honest company please give them a try......... Jim Pollack, Elyria

I used Butts Plumbing for the first time and will definitely use them again. I had a sub pump installed by Collin one of their BRIGHTEST and most Friendly Plumbers I ever met. Collin was professional, fast and efficient. The price was very fair. I have used many different plumbing companies thru the years living in North Olmsted and was never really satisfied either with the work or price. If your looking for a professional, fair plumbing company call Butts Plumbing.

Have previously used other plumbers and had some mixed results. This was the first time using Butts and it was fantastic. We had a minor leak but they arrived exactly on time. Our plumber was Collin and he was polite and professional. Once he figured out the exact problem, he gave me options on how he could fix it. He worked quickly to solve the issue. He even helped explain everything to me when he was done. Collin was great and I will continue use Butts in the future.

I had two plumbing crews come to my house - Collin who did the sump pump replacement and Tim who televised my drain lines. Both gentlemen were EXCELLENT. Collin was very professional, clean, knowledgeable, and did a very quality repair of my sump pump. Tim was equally as good as Collin, he found my identified the issue I was having with my drain lines very quickly, even though his job was like searching for a needle in a haystack. I couldn't recommend these guys more.
