Thank you Busy Bee and thank you Jonathan Burton!! I had a stream of hot water leaking in one of my bathtubs. I had originally called another plumbing company (BIG MISTAKE) They came out, assessed the problem and told me they needed to order the parts in order to fix the problem and would be back in a few days. I waited and waited and got nothing but silence. I finally called them back and they claimed they were STILL waiting on the parts. It was obvious to me they had no intention of fixing my bathtub. So I called Busy Bee, which I should have done from the start! Jonathan Burton was the tech that handled my issue. He assessed the problem and said he needed a certain tool to fix it. He went and purchased this tool, came right back and fixed the problem! He was on time, super friendly, very professional, and very knowledgeable of his work!! He is definitely an asset to Busy Bee!! Moving forward, I now know that Busy Bee is the company to call for my plumbing needs!! THANK YOU AGAIN JONATHAN!!!!!
Quick and professional.
Great job by Dakota. Very knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend.
Heat was out. It was cold. Called Busy Bee and they came out later that day. Tech said the thermostat needed to be changed. We asked how much and tech said $581. It was late and not enough time to call anyone else so we said go ahead. I looked up how much the new replacement thermostat cost and I could get it for $67 to $100 depending on where it was purchased. We called Busy Bee and waited 9 days for a call back from the manager who told us that's what they charge. We did mention we felt like that was gouging and his response was that he had overhead and had to pay for an office, etc. Called another HVAC company who told us they would charge $175 for thermostat replacement. We appreciated the service - most of the time - that Busy Bee offered but WOW, are they ever expensive. We're very happy with our new company and service arrangement and are even more appreciative of their pricing.
We had a kitchen drain clog and contacted Busy Bee to clear the drain. After many hours, drain was not completely clear. Offered to pay half as the work was not completed in a satisfactory manner. Offer was refused by the manager stating that we pay for the attempt regardless of outcome. Expressed desire to discuss it with the owner, William Matheny. Over the course of a 27 minute conversation that devolved into name calling, William equated my offer to pay half as negotiating with terrorists, called me a deadbeat, and stated he would smear my name with all the other plumbers in town. Frankly, I'm a little appalled that the owner of a company would talk to a customer in such a manner and refuse to make any sort of attempt to come to an agreement. Needless to say, we will not ever be contacting Busy Bee for service of any kind ever again, and would strongly others to look the other way. This is not a company that cares about its customers and making things right in their eyes despite their claim of being the home of the "more than satisfied" promise.
We’ve had such a great experience with Busy Bee and truly can’t recommend them enough. We were put in a tough position with a flooded AC unit, a failed compressor, and some faulty lines—but the Busy Bee team stepped in immediately and handled everything with urgency, professionalism, and care. From start to finish, they made what could have been a really stressful situation feel manageable and supported. What stood out most was their integrity and commitment to doing things the right way. They took ownership, communicated clearly throughout the process, and made sure every detail was thoroughly addressed. That level of accountability is rare and incredibly appreciated. A special thank you to Matt, the supervisor, who was not only extremely knowledgeable but also kind, responsive, and hands-on in ensuring everything was handled properly. And Ben, the senior tech, did fantastic work—thorough, efficient, and clearly takes pride in what he does. We also have an annual membership with Busy Bee, and this experience only reinforced that we made the right decision. They stand behind their work and truly take care of their customers. Highly, highly recommend Busy Bee to anyone looking for a customer centric team you can trust.
It's always the salesperson to get you on this big home repair jobs and then they are nowhere to be found when things go wrong. They sold us on the most expensive and apparently incredible $6000 water heater with all the bells and whistles. Well, it had problems right away, we had to have people come out and do repairs and part replacements a few times. Finally, I asked for them to just install a regular water heater as the fancy one was more of a headache than anything. They put in a nice one but it only cost $2000 -- they Richard to refund us our money for the expensive one because they "couldn't return it" -- they also stopped selling that one due to complaints, go figure. The men who came in and installed the plumbing left all of the old piping lying under my house initially. We had to call and have someone come remove it, that guy wasn't real happy about cleaning up someone else's messes. Then we had to call and have them fix bent pitting leading to the water heater. The entire experience was just hard to navigate and so many dropped the ball over and over. I gave two stars simply because in each instance, there was an attempt to make things right but at a $4000 loss I can't recommend Busy Bee.
They were friendly on the phone, and were able to schedule a time within 4 days of our call. We wanted to join the club, get the plumbing and heating inspection and also have the sink faucet replaced. Eryk was our tech who came out. He seemed to be experienced and knowledgeable. He was also somewhat personable. However, he spent an extreme amount of time on his cellphone from the time he drove up. Also charged an exorbitant amount to change the faucet. We provided the hardware, just wanted a competent plumber to install to avoid leaks. That cost $275 just for the install. And as I said before, more time on the phone, extending the time for our service way past what it should have been. We tried to like them, and were truly hoping that we had found a great company, but there were issues that will have us looking for another company. Apparently the lead in price is just to be able to severely gouge the customer when they get their foot in the door. Not what we were hoping for.
A gas leak was randomly found by a different company who said we had a leak and that we needed to hire a company to come out and fix it. So we hired Busy Bee. BIG MISTAKE. They came out and "checked" and said we had no leak, turned our gas back on, and charged us $450. I thought something wasn't adding up so I hired another company to come check the gas and they found the leak exactly where the first company said it was and turned our gas back off then fixed it. We had video proof that there was a leak and Busy Bee still said there wasn't. This is a huge liability. Busy Bee turned our gas on even when there was a leak! Had I not followed up, we'd still have a leak. This company should be investigated. How many people have the told they didn't have a gas leak but they did?!
Ben did an excellent job at the house today. He came into a world of chaos as we were doing work all over the place and he took plenty of time explaining everything to me and making sure to be patient as well. He was really able to give me a sense of what he was doing, and why he was doing it, which I think is such a rare attribute these days from contractors. This was my first time using busy bee as I had gone with a competitor the last couple years. I’m really appreciative of the time Ben gave me and he did a great job helping me prepare for the summer months.
I have used a lot of plumbing companies in the past and I would have to say this is one of the Best I have ever used. This is our 3rd time to use them and all 3 times they were excellent! Shane the plumber that came out was not only honest but very professional and knowledgeable. He explained the issue very well and gave me 3 options on how to take care of the problem. He worked way past 5:00 PM until he got the job done. I highly recommend you should try this company next time you need a plumber. You will not regret it. Happy Customer Mike Bilbrey.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing service! Professionals all the way! This team made it look easy! Thorough, thoughtful and highly skilled installation is what they delivered! We have an older condominium that needed serious duct cleaning and HVAC package unit replacement. To our surprise, they were able to get everything done in one day! They didn’t try to oversell us or create additional problems etc. This company is honest. Fair pricing, family owned and a legacy of good service that shows! Highly valued and recommended!
Jonathan did a thorough and excellent job installing our new faucet! He was also very kind and was able to answer all of my questions and made the whole process so easy! My boyfriend and I had a very hard time getting out the old faucet and spent hours trying to get a stripped screw out and had no luck so we called busy bee. Jonathan took out that old faucet Within seconds I couldn’t believe how fast!! He installed the new one beautifully! So happy to finally have my dream kitchen Sink faucet! Thank you very much Jonathan!
Toilet valve would not shut off. Had to turn off main water supply. Called Busy Bee. They said, "We'll have someone there between 10 and 6 today." 5:50p.m. Phone rings. "Uh, we ran out of time with our other emergencies. You we're a 'try to fit you in' and we're not going to make it today." "You're just realizing this at 10 minutes until six? You could not have called a couple hours earlier and mentioned you might not make it by today?" "Uhhhh." "Forget it!" DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!
You really can't make this up. Freezing temp and a "VIP" LOL member. Called as heat was out. Told by dispatch all techs out. Call back from Ops Mgr to tell me "I have to take care of my crew and can't have them out at all ours of the night". I kid you not! So what is VIP mean. Nothing. 99.7 advertises they come out immediately when on VIP. NOT. Maybe just for them. Price was less than half with another vendor three days later. hmmmm. Maybe this help someone considering them.
