Burkhardt Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electric

I was looking for an electrical company that I could schedule to come out to do change some ceiling fans, can lights, change a dimmer switch and trouble shoot a ceiling fan that stopped working. I called three electrical companies. The first two companies wanted to schedule me on their "fluid" schedule. What the heck is a fluid schedule you might ask? (I had never heard of that before) A fluid schedule is when you schedule a day for the electrician to come out, but you WAIT the ENTIRE day (8a - 5p) for a phone call from the electrician to give you a 45 minute heads up that he is on his way to your house. I personally like the old fashioned way of making appointments! I can accept window time frames of 8 to 12:00 or 12:00 to 5:00. At least with that I can plan my day accordingly. But a fluid schedule? No, thank you! I was so relieved to find that Burkhardt Electric schedules the NORMAL way, with schedule windows! Tom showed up promptly at 8 am! I was lucky. He was very personable and professional. He got right to work and was very efficient.Tom finished all the work in under 3 hours. I was very pleased with his work and he was diligent in cleaning everything up after each phase of the job. I will definitely be asking for him if we have any future needs for an electrician as he was very thorough. I think I will stick with Burkhardt. I just pray Burkhardt will not move to the "fluid" scheduling process....

Danny did a great job. He was very personable and courteous, diagnosed the problem, told us what it would cost up front, then fixed it and so far it works great. Would definitely use the service again.

Danny came to our house today to get the AC working. He was very knowledgeable, competent and fast. He found a plethera of things that were not working right, but now everything is humming. The house is cool. You can depend on his skills and competentcy AND : he's a very nice guy. Nice to be able to depend on someone.

I wish there was zero stars. NO SERVICE 🤮 We had a significant plumbing leak and made an an appointment a day in advance. Not only did they NOT SHOW UP but also they DIDNT EVEN CALL. I appreciated that they were working us in and hey, they had people ahead of us to follow up on commitments BUT I MADE IT VERY CLEAR that if they couldn’t follow through, to let me know when I set the appointment. The gal on the phone double checked with despatch to be sure they could work us in. NO SHOW. I’ll be telling a lot of other people both about this lack of care of your company and about the company that came right out and solved the problem and we’re out there in 20 minutes after called.

We have used Burkhardt for our heating repairs for many years and have always been very satisfied with the service. The technicians are very knowledgeable. This week our technicians were Carl and Gavin. Last year we also decided to join their maintenance program and feel that it is worth the money.
