Todd and Joe repaired a shorted neutral and added a 220v circuit in our garage. They were thorough, careful, and kept me in the loop throughout the work. Joe did the diagnostic work on the fist visit, and Todd and Joe wrapped everything up in an afternoon just a few days after my first call.

I scheduled an appointment at the beginning of the week, but they texted on the morning of the scheduled appointment (at the end of the week) saying that they were canceling and asking if they could reschedule it in three weeks, which is their first available time. I'm not sure how this is acceptable to a customer.

It's unfortunate, they used to be very consistent and reliable, but the last two jobs I've done with them have been a mess. Many missed appointments, you just can't rely on them anymore. Edit: When I called an AI informed me my appointment has been delayed yet again... Stellar service...

Update 04/23/2025: Finally connected with the Director of Operations and he made things right. Jared listened and had a plan to correct the issues. Original review: Rescheduling, dishonesty, and headache. My 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. appointment was rescheduled with hardly any notice and I was told it would be closer to 12:00 p.m. Then 1:30 p.m. rolls around and after multiple phone calls to Black Diamond I was told that the install may have to be pushed to another day. Due to the heat and having little kids I pushed for install on the contracted day. Finally the tech showed up around 4:45 p.m. As 9:00 p.m. rolled around the job was still not done because the technician did not have everything he needed to finish the job. Each time I had contact with someone from Black Diamond Experts I was given a different excuse as to why my appointment was getting pushed. I understand problems come up but be straightforward. After the second excuse the excuses feel more like lies, especially when they are all different. I had to miss a shift at work, stick close to my house all day when I had errands to run, and I still did not have my a/c installed 100% on the contracted day. The next day the install was finished after 4 hours when I was told it would take 15 which made me late for work. If it was just a review on Rusty, Jake, and Skyler it would be a 5/5. Because of the scheduling issues and lies 2/5 stars.

I have been carefully looking for an HVAC provider that would address some immediate air conditioning and heating needs for our house. We also wanted to build a long term relationship with someone we trust. We had some problems that needed to be addressed in the next few weeks. I wanted to find good quality work at a reasonable price. So a few weeks ago, I went out for bids. What I found surprised me. Let me tell you why. We picked Black Diamond and we are thrilled with their work. Jose from Black Diamond just finished fixing our furnace and air conditioner. Jose has nearly 20 years of experience. And he works for a quality company with a great HVAC program. We were looking for high quality work at reasonable prices. What really surprised me is that beacuse of his experience, Jose was able to find a safer solution with higher quality materials to solve our problem than his competitors. And it actually costs us several thousand dollars less than his competitors who claim to be the cheapest. I do not not how often I will come across this good fortune: superior quality work, safer and higher quality materials and solutions, very knowledgable workers, while saving us thousands of dollars in this one job, alone, over the other HVAC company bids. Thanks, Jose! Bravo!! Whatever Diamond Experts pays you, Jose, it is not enough.

I scheduled to have the MagicPak unit in my condo as these guys are one of the few that I've been able to find that service them that also do electrical and plumbing. Long story short appt was set for between 12pm - 16:00 @ 11:37 I texted to ensure the appt hadn't been cancelled or rescheduled. At 11:43 I received txt informing me the appt was still on, and given a number to call for an ETA which I did and was told it would be around 14:00. At 16:13 after having not heard any further I called Black Diamond Experts and was told my appt had been cancelled and the soonest someone could come out was two weeks later. Now I understand, stuff happens. And the lady I spoke to did apologize informing me that the tech had tried to txt me but that for whatever reason the txts hadn't gone through. So, I'm supposed to believe that the Tech didn't know that the txts hadn't gone through and that they then couldn't have called to inform me. I could have worked more hrs or done something else productive. So be forewarned unless you are their first customer of the day or a subscriber to one of their maintenance plans you are going to have problems. Seems like ever since they merged with Anyhour their service has taken a nose dive.

UPDATED 19-Sept-2025 As you can see below, Black Diamond responded to my feedback by inviting me to call them. I called and spoke with someone in Revenue Accounting who told me someone in charge would call me back to discuss my concerns. It's been 4 days and no one has called me back. It seems Black Diamond must have their bots replying google review responses as well! 12-Sept-2025 We've used Black Diamond several times before and always had good experiences with their technicians. It's too bad they've gone downhill. First, they've recently employed AI robots to answer their phones. Complete with typing noises and background noise. Are you really that big that you need to do that? Second, their internal organization is now messed up, probably because of the bots. We scheduled with them twice. Both times they didn't show up. After the first no-call, no-show they told us WE had called in and cancelled the appointment. WRONG. You got your customers mixed up and it's going to cost you business. After the second no-call, no-show, well...we're moving on to a different company. Maybe it was your bots cancelling our appointments! Good luck Black Diamond...and good riddance!

We woke up today with no heat in our house. The furnace had stopped working and it was already really cold, and supposed to drop 20 degrees over the next 24 hours. I called Black Diamond Experts and they sent David Hunt over within a couple hours. David was fantastic. He quickly diagnosed the problem and found a new motor in stock. Initially they were booked for the day and would have to come back and fix things in two days, but knowing it was cold David worked out the schedule and stayed to get everything done immediately. We have had 2 other companies inspect our system and tell us everything was fine. David took the time to really inspect everything, and then took more time helping me understand how we can be more efficient. David was friendly, knowledgeable, and honest.I would recommend David Hunt and Black Diamond to anyone,and we know who we will always call for any of ourHVAC needs.

I called black diamond when my water heater went out over a year ago. They came and replaced it and installed a water pressure valve they said I needed on my water main line. Ever since then, I’ve had a sludge that has been clogging up my faucets to the point the hot water just trickles out of them - zero pressure. I called them back about 6 months later. They said the sludge was coming from my water softener. So they disconnected my water softener to see if that was the problem. Fast forward my hot water faucets are all clogged again and just tricking water…and I no longer have soft water. Never in my prior 6 years in this house did I ever have water softener sludge issues. Never had any water pressure issues. Now I have all kinds of issues. I’m about to give up and have a new company come replace the black diamond water heater and undue all the issues they created in my home. Ugh

I used black diamond to repair my furnace a few years ago and had a great experience with them so I used them again to replace a furnace in a condo I rent out. Not only were they easy to work with, their prices were fair and the work was done in a timely manner. Later I found that there was a slight issue that needed to be resolved. They were willing to call my HOA's plumber and work out details to go down there together so I didn't have to go back and forth between the plumber and the black diamond technician. When the issue was resolved, they not only didn't charge me anything, they paid for the plumbers bill as well. The whole process was hassle free and I felt like the treated me as fairly as possible. I can't recommend these guys enough! Get your hvac needs done with them, you will not be disappointed!

Zack, Austin & Adien installed a motor home plug that allows me to use the motor home as an extra guest house. They also ran an additional wire back to an automatic transfer switch they had installed for me earlier. This will allow my 7500 amp motor home generator provide power to my home after the solar batteries lose power. They also ran a Cat 5 cable to my son’s office that allows faster speed for work & gaming. Even though the had to cut don holes on walls & ceilings they covered them back up & arranged for a drywaller to come repair the sheetrock. They Thoroughly cleaned up all that they did to make it look like they had never been here. Overall, they did a fabulous job and I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs any type of electrical work done.

Great experience all around. The initial technician they sent out was outstanding. Your the best, Jose! He not only diagnosed our immediate issue, he also advised us about the condition/potential issues with all of the components (it's an old furnace). He took the time to lay out several repair options, from just fixing our immediate problem through several different price options to repair/replace some or all of the other issues. We ultimately decided to have Black Diamond install a whole new furnace due to age/overall condition, but the detailed breakdown of *all* of the options and their (very reasonable) prices was very much appreciated in helping us make the best decision for our home.

I am so glad that my project has been completed. Black Diamond has been very patient with me as I have run into snags with my renovation that has caused me to reschedule several times. They have been a dream to work with on updating my electricity throughout my home. Today, Bryce installed the last piece of this magnificent puzzle. He worked quietly and efficiently.
