August 27, 2025 Our service provider, Jason Radford arrived promptly and was very professional and friendly. He provided the camera test to find out if any other blockages existed. Before he began to work, He explained everything thoroughly. Several times he asked if we had any questions or concerns. Jason had us watch as he used the camera in the pipes. This allowed Jason to give us real-time feedback and allow questions from us. Being able to watch the camera footage during the test was very informative, educational and invaluable. Jason's camera test found some issues with our pipes, so we have scheduled a static test. Great job, Jason! August 26, 2025 Our service provider, Andrew Coyle arrived promptly and was very professional and friendly. We needed to have our kitchen sink drain cleaned out. Before he began to work, He explained everything thoroughly. Several times he asked if we had any questions or concerns. As a follow-up, he scheduled to have coworker, Jason Radford come the next day to do a camera test, to make sure that there are no other blockages. We asked for additional services that were not in the original request, to replace 3 outside faucets. He gladly agreed to our request and he had all the equipment needed in his vehicle. Great job, Andrew!
Beyond Wow Plumbing is exactly what they are. I had a major leak at my meter and Sean and Micah came out to repair it. They were super prompt and called and came out early this morning. They called and updated me with what had to be done. Sean was a super great rep for Beyond Wow. He was forthright and caring about my current situation. They had it all repaired in just a couple of hours. This is the best experience I've ever had with a plumber. I definitely recommend Beyond Wow and will surely use them again. Thanks a million!!!
We had S&D replace our two water heaters with a tankless system and were having issues with hot water getting to various points in the house. I spoke to their Field Manager about the issues and they promptly sent out a Technician who fixed the issues and tuned the system to our needs. S&D Plumbing is a very professional group of folks that I'd recommend to anyone for their plumbing needs.
Answering service said they didn't service area they show they have an office. Had to call and follow up myself to try to schedule service. After successfully ci firming they did service my area (and allegedly have an office less than a mile from my house), they also confirmed they could perform the work I was requesting and would have a free service call to evaluate. They required a 4 hour service call window, so I did a a 2pm-6pm window. After taking off a half-day to accommodate, I finally got a call at 6:30pm. The plumber simply told me they did not offer the service I needed (installation of a studor vent because my older house did not have a p-trap or vent for the washing machine drain). He told me at that time that they do not offer the service and he could quote the price to remove the faulting running trap and install a new one. I informed him I was not certain I even had a running trap, to which he said I probably did. I asked that he still come out to assess the situation just so verify. He fumbled around and said he would have to call his supervisor. He called back 5 minutes later and said it would be $12,850 to replace the running trap (that he didn't even know if I had). I asked that he still come out to look at it, and he said it would be $499 just to run a camera. No thanks, obviously a company that doesn't care about customer or the work. Got a local small business to come out that next day, ran a camera for $75 to confirm I DID NOT even have a running trap, and they installed a new washing machine box, p-trap, and studor vent for less than $500. Obviously a company that has grown too big to provide good service - have a 3rd party answering service that doesn't even know their service area, and plumbers that will do anything they can to avoid adhering to the service calls when their day is running long.
I hate to give one star just because they are incredibly friendly and professional. BUT: Their bid was about 3x the next closest, and several things did not make sense. Please just make sure you Google the prices of the things they're charging you for. They doubled the price of the system they wanted to install for me.
To save you, a prospective customer, time and to sum up this review: Severely overpriced and some of the worst communication I have ever experienced. I would absolutely consider a different company for your plumbing needs and they have certainly lost our business going forward. We have used S&D in the past and had pleasant experiences (read my other positive reviews, I'm not the type of person who loves to grouch and give 1 star reviews). Our experience with S&D Plumbing this time, on a huge project, was not good. After S&D had replaced our hot water heater and provided us with some plumbing services in the past, we decided to go with them to replace all of our cast iron plumbing after we experienced a leak in our kitchen. We were shocked at the price (mid 5 figures), but having worked with this group in the past, we felt comfortable moving forward. As part of the initial inspection and diagnosis, Ryan (to be honest not sure his role in this whole thing) came and let us know what work would be done, and how much it cost. After our initial meeting, Ryan gave me his phone number and let me know “you can call me any time, 2am, whenever, and I will respond.” (He did not respond). He also let us know that they would install a homeowners water shutoff valve as part of the plumbing replacement. Something to note, part of our family income requires the water to be on/available in the kitchen, so from the outset we were very open about needing a schedule for when the water may be shut off so we can work around it. We completely understand that shutting off the water is part of the process, we only asked to know when. From the very beginning of the work, we were never notified of when something would be started/completed/worked on. I texted Ryan multiple times and never received a response. My wife texted their customer service representative Lisa, who also never gave us a straight answer on any timeline for work or wouldn't respond at all. Our family lost income during this time on top of our large payment - we had to reschedule work around unexpected and non-communicated water shutoff times. We specifically asked for that information, and never received it. To keep it brief, here are bullet points showing how S&D is comfortable treating a customer: -We were initially told the entirety of the work would be completed in 2 weeks, it took 5. The length of time isn't the problem, it's the incorrect communication which set false expectations. -We texted often for scheduling, never received a response (probably 10+ times) -Escalated 1st time on the scheduling after income loss, never fixed the communication -Washer and dryer were unhooked for a weekend and change without notification. Asked when they might be hooked up again, the whole office was off for the eclipse. Did not communicate this to us. -Toilet and shower was taken offline for an entire weekend without notification while family from out of town was at our home (the plumbers knew family was in town). -Escalated a 2nd time after poor communication. Was promised by an unknown customer service representative a call with a schedule the next day. Never received a call or response. -Promised a homeowner shutoff valve. Wasn’t added. We had to ask and remind them that they promised this service and it was eventually added. Christian and Juan and the crew of guys that all came and did the work were very friendly and did a good job, no complaints there. Ryan was friendly and apologetic upon the final inspection, but honestly, at that point, it was too little too late. To sum it up, for the amount of money we paid, we were treated like complete dirt and not thought of as a valued customer at all. It felt like they got their money from us, and we were lucky to get the work done at all. Again, considering the hefty sum we paid with them, it was a terrible showing. S&D, you have lost our business. I’m not sure it matters to you all, but if you’re a prospective customer reading this, find someone else.
This facility has helped me many times and I was greatful for those times,(small jobs)except the two big jobs done. I ended up getting two different under pipe drainage jobs done on my house on 2019 over 10k worth of services and then again on 2020 10k both were close to the same location. I was told hangers were added for code ever 6 feet and they were but under my sink they knew that the rear pipes were still floating not secured behind the cross pipe going to the back of the house and did not recommend to add any hangers to the existing pipes right in the same spot that was repaired but one was added in front of the cross section unfortunately at that spot the pipe went though the concrete and was held up by the concrete and made no since to put a hanger there. A added hanger behind the cross section could have saved me from having to spend 15k once again, this time completely out of pocket. I know this place charges top dollar and 90% of the time does a great job. I call the facility to do the work and told the service worker that they had done the same work previously 3 years ago and the manager later told me the service worker never told him that info, so that just tells me that was not said to gouge my pockets (possible insurance job) or manager just said that as a out, To not help me with my situation. I have given s&d plumbing 25k to 27k in business. I got photos and paperwork from the proven plumbing stating a rear hanger could have prevented my rear house pipes from failing, if placed behind the rear cross section of the repair that had been done. I called and gave all this info and photos to the manager that was present, they came out and looked at the failure too. The manager declined any help and I was kicked to the curb because of time (1 year warranty given) (house settling) and his untruthful employee not giving him the info of the house's previous history of them doing all the similar work that had been done prior in same area. I ask to please help me in any way and again as a out they said no, because I didn’t choose to get the work done by them which was priced out 10k more then proven plumbing. So Taylor and surrounding areas beware on big jobs from this facility. Why do you think they are stationed in Taylor because of the insurance money they get from the bad soil Taylor has and They do not care about you after they get your insurance money. Hint in a weak one year warranty given (At least that’s how I felt) it put me in a bad situation. That lucky I was prepared for but still hurt quite a bit!!
Beyond wow more like beyond expensive or beyond a pain in the butt. I had a shower that no longer had decent pressure. Contacted this company as they were able to get someone out the same day probably because business is so slow, the plumber arrived late, was rude, and told me to leave him alone while he worked in MY shower. After 10 minutes he told me the entire piping and valve in the shower needed replaced and the quote which was nearly 5,000 dollars was a additional charge on top of 75$ of just him showing up. I denied the quote and found a independent licensed and insured plumber who determined just a 75$ part needed replace and it was 200$ in total for the repair. Company's like these are the exact reason trade Company's have a bad rap, they take advantage of people, lie and extort their customers. Im happy we have independent contractors like the second gentleman i hired hopefully people start to learn thats a better option. I also found out that this company rebranded and used to be called S&D plumbing who had a extremely bad reputation in my area for overcharging and under preforming
gee im having to replace toilet tank parts even though i was told 6months ago they were all replaced what a rip off $ 400 worth (unless you think a gasket and 2 rubber stoppers are worth $400.00) of nothing & that wasnt all $ 694.00 for a moen bath tub faucet cartridge??? $894 for a sink fixture that you can get at home depot for $100.00 total $1,891 I dont know why you call its not like im getting back a pro rated amount. just outrageous ...I've never let anybody take advantage of me like this tech did... I should have told him to leave but he kept coming up with crazy prices I will never call this place again I really doubt if everybody is getting charged these ludicrous prices He know who he can do it to.btw 694.00 was only a "bandaid bathtub faucet fix "till i could get it done right ..what a joke NEVER WOULD HAVE CALLED THIS PLACE IF I'D KNOWN THEY WERE ONLY SALESMEN AND NOT REAl PLUMBERS
Techs were good. In hindsight should have gotten another estimate. They had to go to get parts which may have contributed to the exorbitant pricing. Over 2 hours to get parts and traffic. Couldn't get an estimate before I had all part numbers for items that needed replacing. Total rip off. Pushing sale of membership by telling us it saved us money. A ploy. I would not recommend or ever hire them again. Since I am now a member will use them for the free stuff included. Brian C would not call me just responded to my Yelp review. Coward. I was told Someone would contact me by CS rep Lisa. Job not complete yet but I payed. I'm not an idiot but they were here and needed stuff fixed. I should have payed the $75 fee and told them to leave. It's the management and owners that are thieves not the guys who came out. Nice guys too bad they work for people who are dishonest robbers. Shame on them.
Beware of this company- they will try to gouge you. The technician (Anthony) didn't appear to know what he was doing, after we paid $1500 for him to use the leak detector he indicated the leak was under the walkway next to the driveway and said it would be $10,000 to fix it. When we asked for a step by step of the procedure he was charging this exorbitant amount all he could provide was a vague repetition of what he previously stated. We told him we would get a second opinion before spending that amount of money and glad we did. The second plumber actually found the leak on the opposite side of the driveway where Anthony claimed it was and it was in a planter area which was dug up and the leak was fixed in about 3 hours and cost less than $3000.00. If you use them be wary of their recommendation and question the cost - if you feel it's excessive- get a second opinion.
Jason, Carson and Bobby were top notch plumbers. They explained everything, happily answered all my questions. They had all the tools and parts they needed. They worked diligently through the afternoon to get the job completed in one day. Carson the lead installer has his van well organized and fully stocked. No fumbling around looking for tools or parts. No time wasted having to run to the store to get a fitting. They were professional and fun to work with. When Carson and Bobby encountered an unexpected problem they had the knowledge, experience, and supplies to solve the problem. They didn’t have to call someone else and waste half a day getting some else to fix it. These guys care about the quality of their work and customer service.
S&D is always our choice for plumbing problems. They always have prompt response and attentive, trustworthy and knowledgeable techs. Most recently Weston from the Buda office helped troubleshoot through a problem with our water pressure. Initial worry was frozen pipes even though we felt we prepared properly. It carried on a couple of days working with our water softener people and the City of Kyle to determine problem was with the check valve at the street, but on our side of the city’s meter. Weston fixed the issue even through occasional heavy rain and further assisted us with resolving additional issues with our water heater that builders had neglected to install properly. As usual, we were satisfied with S&Ds service.
Great same-day service from S&D Plumbing today. I’m a fan. Came out to hydro jet clean my kitchen sink drain lines. Turned out to be a much bigger job than anticipated. Esteban was a superstar! He was thorough, professional, kind and pleasant from start to finish. He treated me (and my home) with great respect. And he demonstrated all the best qualities of customer service in action. He was competent in his work, credible with his words, and courteous to me … even when the job was proving to be stubborn, frustrating and time consuming. I would welcome him back for future work and would feel comfortable recommending him to others too - which is perhaps the highest compliment of all. Thank you, Esteban!
S&D plumbing had done great work for us including resealing a toilet and replace PVC pipes in ground. I think they cost a little more than most plumbers but you know you will get a professional person and great work. Love how they send a text and email before technician arrives with his/her name and photo to your phone so you know who you are looking for when they arrive. Also, the kindness & politeness of their employees reminds me of employees at Chic-Fil-A. It is the kind of service you want to take care of your parents (which they do!). Today's technician, Esteban, was very skilled and super polite.
