These wonderful people came out on a Friday afternoon at 4:30 to repair a leak in the ceiling causing it to rain in two bedrooms and bathrooms. Clayton was our plumber's name. He did a great job. John was who coordinated everything. I can't recommend this company strongly enough. Outstanding customer service and professionalism. Thank you gentlemen.
Bevills was super fast to get out to check the heater for us at our business. Kyle was very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Bevills.

We are renting from a friend of ours and the landlord had them come out to fix a few issues we had been having. They came out back in August of 2022 and then August 2023 and had to do some tube ups and wiring for the A/C unit and did a fantastic job. Helped us get the A/C fixed and it was amazing and even installed a new thermostat for no extra cost. My heat system was not working and asked them come out. Very nice and came out to check it. They looked around and said the full system would need to be replaced and it would be close to 12,000 since the parts are discontinued since 2020 and charged over 200.00 for them to come out. My landlord suggested a second opinion for other prices possible and when the other company came out and knowing the previous encounters and that we were getting a second opinion noticed that the last fix that had been done on the unit, the heating and cooling had been wired together and was causing the breaker to flip every time since it was trying to pull so much power. The other company was able to fix it for under 200.00. My landlord reached out to the company and asked if a refund could be done since the mistake they said couldn’t be fixed had been done on the last visit there and she was told No because they didn’t do any parts just labor. So I’m writing this to say we are very disappointed and how it is being handled since it was a mistake done by the company when the wired the system. Just very saddening for them to have done this and then say they won’t refund for something that was from the last visit.
After the gas supply line was installed in the alley a pressure check was preformed on all of the house drops. My house showed a leak so they cut off my gas and would not turn it on until the leak was fixed. I have always used Bevills Pluming so I called them for an estimate. This was in the winter and it was cold. The estimate was $7000.00 to replace the gas line. Trusting them I accepted the deal. After the fact I got an invoice showing the actual cost of $3200.00. Unlike his tv ads he does not look after the customer. Bevills is in the business of gouging customers that are in a pinch.
Since I'm given an opportunity 2 speak w/out being stuffed,I will. Feb freeze 2021 All pipe burst,no toilet,major water leak, the absolute worst case scenario for a CDK3 patient,ostomy patient , cancer 2x. Initially, I used available credit card $. $400 the rest had to be put on a payment plan.approx:1200. They were quick ,efficient,communicated well,went on to fix everything. The collection process was grueling and quite harsh. For the month of May I received 6 collection notices from Shiloh(apparently an employee @ Bevills).For a mere $73 balance!!! I feel I was a responsible customer and paid till it was paid off It may not have been in a consistent timely manner,however so was the freeze itself Nobody ordered it. Shiloh made it clear in voice mails , emails with invoice attached,2 emails w/invoice in same day. Harsh collection practices to say the least... I dreaded this payment each month.Further more I was left feeling unappreciated as a customer trying hard to pay my bill. Meaning I don't feel like I can be serviced by Bevills because of sour taste on collection practices. This is sad. I'm the only one suffering here.
We had a new AC/Heat Pump installed in our home. Tyler came out and did our estimate. Was completely professional about everything. He went above and beyond to meet our budget of $13,000.00. We will continue to use them after our warranty period expires. I highly recommend them! The three young men that came to do the installation job were fantastic! They arrived at about 8:45 am and stayed until the job was finished and cleaned up at 9 pm. Now that is customer service! They didn't want us to be without an AC overnight. All three were the most respectful and polite young men, treated my home like they would have their's or their parents. Covered my hardwood floors so there would be no scratches. When they ate lunch they made sure not a single piece of trash was left out. When they were finished there was not a single screw, piece of trash, or anything left behind. They even used a shopvac to clean the inside floors of all the insulation, dust from the attic or dirt they may have tracked in. These three you g men went above and beyond!
I have used them before and I felt they were straight forward and honest. So I called this company to come do a spring cleaning. The technician apparently did not know that when they showed up, which is fine. But he find that the coil on my unit is out. Which seems odd because my unit was working just fine. This repair was quoted at $1975. I asked him to send me a quote so I could get a second opinion. He did not. He also took my filter when he left with out showing it to anyone or taking pictures. I had a second HVAC company come out and inspect my unit. There was nothing wrong with my coil. It wasn't even dirty. He said the only thing wrong was I didn't have a filter. I spoke with the manager, he seems like a nice guy but I do believe he knows his guys are lying about major repairs. I am actually shocked that in a town this size they have gotten away with this behavior for so long. I WOULD NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN! I almost parted with $2000 of my hard earned dollars because the believed they could scam a women.
I initially contacted a different business when my A/C stopped working. They placed me on their space available list advising they would come out if they completed another job early. I was advised it would not be that day. The next morning I called the same business and was advised that they may still not be able to respond this second day. I called Bevills about mid-morning. I asked if they could have a technician out that day or the next at the latest. The gentleman said they could arrive between 1-3pm. The Bevills technician, Kyle, arrived at 12:30 pm. He quickly identified the problem and set to work to correct the issue. Kyle had the A/C up and running in short order. We Kyle was courteous, respectful and thorough. The charges were reasonable. We are very satisfied with Bevills’ response, work and staff. I wished I had called them the first day. We probably would have not had to suffer the night without A/C. Bevills is now our heating and air conditioning specialists. If/when I need a plumber I’m calling Bevills.
The below review was addressed by Bevills who did indeed correct the issue. I will give them another chance. Thank you Bevills. Had bevills install a gas heater in the house. Beautiful job yet when they cut off my gas they didn't relight my water heater. So the next day they came back over and the pilot light would not spark on water heater so at this point they are going to send a plumber. Called their office that day..Friday and a plumber could not come that same day but would schedule him first thing in the morning on a Saturday to be at my house to check water heater. So next day Saturday comes and no plumber shows. I called their answering service which has plumber call me and he knew nothing about the situation or him supposed to be here. I have a 65 yr old husband and a disability myself...cold weather coming in and no hot water thanks to bevills. Will they make it right? I doubt it.
We had Danny come out with his partner and help us fix our washing machine connection( I dont do a lot of connections like this and in our new home its set up was a bit intimidating) he came explained it to us helped us get it set up and even checked other things out to make sure it was all okay. I was very impressed with how quickly he fixed it/ and set it all up he was very personable and nice about it all. Really made me appreciate him and the company he works for as this isnt my first time having to call them out for assistance. Every time I've called they have been out as fast as possible to help me make sure things are running well. I would HANDS DOWN recommend them for any plumbing needs, and the prices they give are very fair. Definitely at least give them a call for help with anything you need help with. They're very knowledgeable in everything they do for you.
I live in Hawley and I had a clogged sink after putting something stupid in the garbage disposal. It was clogged for about a month because it was deep in the pipes and there was a hard 90 degree pipe under my sink. We called Midway and Black and both had a $100~ TRIP CHARGE. Just to DRIVE 10 MIN to Hawley. I could drive to and from Dallas in a diesel truck and still have $ for snacks with $100. I called Bevill because they are what we use at my work and they dont have a trip charge. They tried to snake it and couldn't get it and still charged me for $85 and then sent me a bid for $950 just to replace the pipes under my sink. Ridiculous. It took $15 and 15 mins to replace those pipes. I did not call them back after we replaced the pipes ourselves. After rereading the reviews, seems they do this a lot. Over quoting for seemingly since repairs.
Had a problem with upstairs air handler. It was leaking condensate from the bottom. Called Bevills and they had a technician out that same day. He quickly had everything draining properly but informed me that the drain line for that unit had never been completed properly when it was installed and condensate was just emptying under the house. He called the office with all the information and so when I called they knew exactly what my problem was and had someone out the next day to fix it, which they quickly did after a little trouble drilling through concrete. Very satisfied with the work. Very friendly people who know what needs to be done and how to do it. We have used Bevills for our heating and cooling needs for over thirty years and will continue to call on them when we have a problem.
Water started pooling in my backyard and it looked like it was coming from under the slab of my house. Called plumber #1 and he could not fix it but charged me $600+ to determine he did not have the expertise or equipment to even find the leak, let alone fix it. I called Bevills and they responded quickly. Determined that the leak was not under the house but the main line from the city water meter to my house due to a failing galvanized supply line. They did this using highly specialized equipment (it was under my concrete patio), repaired the line without damaging my concrete patio and only had water off for 30 minutes to an hour. Very professional.
This company lied and tried to scam me out of $2000. Someone came out and said the filter of my ac got burnt and sucked up into the coil then broke it. The technician told me it would cost at least $1,900 to fix or replace. Then he inspected my outside unit/ condenser and didn't tell me that he unplugged it so after he left it didn't work at all. I called the manager (John) and he was very upset that I was getting a second opinion. The second company came out and said the only thing wrong with my AC is the missing filter. No one from Bevills has called me to give me a quote or schedule anything because they knew there was nothing wrong with my AC.
