Extremely professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. Could not be happier with our new install. Not only is it a noticeable difference in comfort, but the technicians that installed it had incredible attention to detail ensuring the unit inside the home and outside the home looked as professional as possible. I would recommend Arlinghaus to anybody who wants reliable, efficient, and professional results.

Austin provided great service, arrived on time, polite, clean, very patient with our many questions. Made evidenced based recommendations, taking our concerns into account. Arranged for a project manager to do a consult same day. Sam arrived to consult on a new HVAC unit. Also excellent service. More questions answered, honest about what we needed as well as what we didn’t need. Heard our concerns about challenges with heating/cooling our historic home and offered solutions without inappropriate add-ons. Overall, very pleased with our first experience!

THE HAPPY GUYS HOUSE is definitely the SLOGAN from Arlinghaus HVCA. I called them first thing Monday morning and they came to service call in the afternoon. My Service technician, Tyler was very friendly and knowledgeable on his profession and explained to me what needs to be done on my Gas Heating. I was impressed on how fast it came out. Thank you, thank you Arlinghaus. I even signed up for a monthly service call membership. I highly recommend Arlinghaus heating and air-conditioning. 5 Five Star.

Pricing structure is deceiving. We called with a clogged kitchen sink and were told $89. We ourselves had already tried clearing the p-trap and snaking the branch pipe before having them come out. We asked if it could be the main line. The plumber walks in, doesn’t even turn on the sink or other faucets to diagnose issue himself and says with certainty it’s not the mainline, it’s a clog in the branch. Their deal is only for the mainline so it’ll be an additional $217 for basic snaking of the branch pipe (which should work since his “is better spin rate than ours”) or $1100 to jet clear the pipe if it doesn’t. I’m sorry, that is ridiculous pricing without any guarantee or trying to confirm the issue first. We refused to proceed without any further validation or assurances so he made us still pay the $89 “for his estimate” and left. Definitely not how you should be doing business. (Yes, we filled out the survey. Yes, we called and were told a manager would call us back. No, no call and all we’ve gotten is a text estimate re-forwarded to us)

Called about service on a simple gas furnace and they flat out told me that they would not come to look at it. They claimed the reason for refusal of work is that we are a business. They have been here twice in the past to service other furnaces. Times have certainly changed in service industries.

Furnace Replacement (7 Jan 25) "I want to give a big thanks to Dillion Arlinghaus and his team for their outstanding work replacing our gas furnace, humidifier, and air purifier. From start to finish, they were professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. They took the time to explain everything clearly and ensured the installation was done perfectly. The new system works great, and we couldn't be happier with the service we received. Highly recommend them to anyone in need of HVAC services!" Inspection and Quote (4 Jan 25) Review for Chris Mazor: We can't say enough wonderful things about our experience with Arlinghaus Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning, specifically with Chris Mazor! From the moment he arrived for our gas furnace inspection and maintenance, it was clear that he was both knowledgeable and passionate about his work. He was incredibly detailed and thorough, making sure to explain each step of the process. His kind and professional demeanor made us feel at ease, and we really appreciated how he took the time to share helpful tips about keeping our equipment in top shape for the long haul. Chris's expertise and genuine care for ensuring our furnace runs smoothly really stood out. We're so grateful for his attention to detail and the peace of mind he gave us. Highly recommend him and Arlinghaus for anyone needing furnace services! Review for Ryan Gauze: A big shoutout to Ryan Gauze for his exceptional service! Ryan took the time to thoroughly explain all of our equipment options, and was incredibly patient with every question we had. He was transparent and open about the financial aspects, helping us make an informed decision that fit our needs. We truly appreciated his clear communication and guidance throughout the process, which made it so much easier to understand our choices. It's rare to find someone who's both professional and understanding, and Ryan exceeded all expectations. If you're looking for someone who will be transparent and help you navigate through options without feeling pressured, we wholeheartedly recommend Ryan and Arlinghaus. You won't regret it! Review for Brian Arlinghaus: A special thank you to Brian Arlinghaus for working with us on our financial options! We were especially appreciative of his help, particularly right after the holidays when finances can be tight. Brian was patient, understanding, and made sure to find a solution that worked within our budget. His willingness to work with us and provide clear, fair options really stood out, and we're so grateful for his support during this process. It's not every day you come across a business owner who takes the time to personally ensure that customers are taken care of--thank you, Brian! We highly recommend Arlinghaus to anyone looking for quality service and a team that truly cares.

My husband and I purchased an Arlinghaus system to replace our 25 year old HVAC system. The sales gentleman who came out to sell us on the system was super friendly and promised that the Arlinghaus system could do everything we were asking it to do however, shortly after install, we found that that was incorrect and while we had paid double for our Arlinghaus product, the other vendors that we looked at could provide us the same service however, they refused to lie to us about the functionality of their system just to get us to purchase. The air conditioner worked great as our install was in June however, Arlinghaus forgot about the whole house dehumidifier feeding into our thermostat which they had promised us would be an easy process. After a few phone calls, they finally sent the technician out to install the dehumidifier as it was supposed to be based on the scope of work only to find out that the technician they sent did not know how to install the controller for the dehumidifier into the thermostat. After 3.5 hours of work the poor technician had to tell me that someone would have to come because he didn't know how to actually install the controller as he had never installed one before. After sending out another technician, Arlinghaus left the wires from the controller hanging all over the side of the brand new system and didn't clean it up. In early November, my husband and I turned on our heat only to find out our brand new heat did not work. Arlinghaus came out and fixed it, and assured us that there was a pitch problem with the drain that had been resolved. Therefore, water would no longer back up into our inducer motor. This also proved to be incorrect since the problem has duplicated itself three times. Christmas Eve I had to cancel plans with family so Arlinghaus could come fix our brand new system. Luckily the nice technicians they sent out spent the hour of time they waited for the motor to cool down cleaning up the work of the supervisor who installed the dehumidifier controller and left a mess. Every time I call Arlinghaus to get a service to fix what they tell me has been fixed. Multiple times they attempt to put us off to a more convenient time however, with a five month old system, I tend to stress that it must be addressed the day I call. We have now had service calls on our new heater five times in the last 2 1/2 months since first turning on the system and nobody at Arlinghaus seems to care or want to remedy the issue. The entire process has been nothing but a joke. Buyer beware go with the other guys who tell you the truth.

I am only giving this company a 1-star rating because that is as low as I could go. I wouldn't recommend Arlinghaus Plumbing Heating and Air to anyone. My son worked for this company for roughly a year and was let go on a Friday, after calling in late that previous Monday, due to car trouble. We have reason to believe that the real reason he was fired is because he had mentioned leaving the company and going elsewhere for more money. This doesn't seem to be a company that values the fact that you try and do the right thing and give them notice. Anyway, whatever the reason, fast forward 3 weeks later and he is still trying to get the last check owed to him. After realizing his last check didn't get direct deposited, he called them and asked why, and they told him he would need to return his uniforms before they would pay him. He then told them he would drop off the uniforms and they told him no, he couldn't just drop them off, he would have to make an appointment. So, he gets the appointment set up, drops off the clothes that mind you consisted of some stained up t shirts and pants that are going to go straight to the dumpster. He then asks if he can now have his check and they tell him someone will have to get back with him after they check his uniforms. After a couple days go by, he gets in contact with them once again to see if he can get his check and they tell him he was missing some of his uniforms, so they will not be issuing him a check. He messaged someone to see if they could just deduct some of his pay to cover the cost of these uniforms (that are going to go straight to the garbage), and he has yet to receive a response. If these are the kind of shady unprofessional games, they are going to play on a young man just trying to get what he is rightfully owed and worked for, I can only imagine the stuff they pull on customers to earn an extra buck. We do not plan to let them get away with this, our next step is to report them to the labor board and possibly get a lawyer, if we need to go that far. I just feel people should know what kind of company they really are. At this point it is more than just the money that is owed, it is the principal. If you need any heating, plumbing or ac work, do yourself a favor and find a more reputable company with better morals and values.

When we moved here from Texas, I expected a transition period for finding great home repair service companies. Having worked in the property management industry for over 20 years, I had some stellar ones and was hoping for the same in northern Kentucky. Since 2003 we have used 5 and finally found our "one". Arlinghaus Heating & Air Conditioning is the service company we will recommend anytime we are asked. We built a new home in 2005/2006 and installed a Water Furnace geothermal system. There we many problems throughout the install but finally had things according to specifications. We then purchased a service agreement, we're unhappy with our provider, went through several other companies and found Arlinghaus in 2010. The service techs are unfailinging polite, conscientious and honest. When the compressor went out, Brandon made several repair recommendations based on our situation. Wanting to make sure we did the right thing, we consulted 2 other companies. One gave us an outrageous quote for repair of a warranted problem, also stating that the original install capacity for return air was insufficient and the other after an evaluation of the system they installed, denied problems (other than the compressor replacment being necessary). The tech cold not give me a price and never called back with a repair estimate. Ever. When Brandon called on a Saturday to see if we were up and running, we relayed that no, our a/c was still not working. He immediately offered to bring us emergency a/c units to carry us through the hot, long weekend or until repairs could be made. He was at our home within 45 minutes and had us cooling down after 3 long weeks with no a/c. We asked that he order our compressor and complete the repair. Our parts were ordered and installed the next week and at a price lower than the original estimate. To sum it all up, we highly recommend Arlinghause for their top notch service. They do what they say they will, when they say they will and are honest with their work. Brandon didn't try to talk over my head with technical jargon and saved our family from misery when it counted the most. You won't go wrong with this company servicing your home's heating and a/c needs.

If Brian shows up lauding his qualifications, experience, journeyman status, complains about his pink car, and acts like your wasting his time ask him to leave and call someone else. My unit was about 20 years old. I called Arlinghaus and a tech came out to check on things. There were no guarantees that parts and a charge would work so I opted to replace it. I requested to keep my old furnace as it was fully functional and I had other uses. The install was delayed for hours because they didn't have working parts and didn't know how to update a electrical circuit to include a ground. I waited a couple hours for an electrician to show and then the install technicians decided they were able to do it at 530pm (time to go home?). They overcharged my new unit and vented it to the atmosphere. They incorrectly wired the external unit and didn't secure the wires to the internal unit. I told them all along the way that I was concerned about the quality of their work and their professionalism and it was deflected. The inspections aren't complete still after two weeks. The electrical work was poor at best and I'm concerned the HVAC won't pass inspection meaning I'll have to remove their work and have a reputable company install new units. Arlinghaus wants me to let them tell me they did a good job while we all are standing in front of the unit. I refuse, am seeking a secondary validation of their work out of my own pocket. As far as my old furnace, they removed the unit from the premises, stripped it of some components, and then left it in my driveway. They offered me $250 or to repair the unit with missing parts. I opted for the repair. Now they're not wanting to send me a contract for the repair, nor are they assuring me the unit will function when they replace the parts they took. I can not recommend Arlinghaus or their subcontractors for any of the services mentioned above. I fear I'm going to invest more than $20,000 and lose more than $10,000 over this matter once I'm satisfied that everything is corrected and above board.

While friendly and responsive, the techs seem inexperienced and inconsistent, often very young, which worries me, as they give us a different explanation of how things work every time someone comes out, which is frustrating. We gave-up on the Wi-Fi option for instance, because they can't figure out why it's not working either (not an issue with our home or internet). We've had problems with our furnace/AC (moving thermostat to another room after install, wiring and other issues with the outdoor unit) despite it being less than 5 years old, and we purchased a "premium" efficiency unit. After several visits the first few years, they seem to have settled-down, this seems to depend, again, on the experience of the tech they send out. The techs who do the maintenance checks often try to upsell you on various things as well, which is highly annoying (when we say "no" we mean it - don't go to my wife when I say no and try to pressure her). This is likely due to company pressure I presume as well, not the techs themselves. We will likely not use them again when a new unit is needed, but I am not sure other companies operate much differently, I just don't know. I won't "not" recommend them, do your research and whatever's best for your area. I want to be fair, they don't make things like they used to - that's a manufacturing problem not a problem with the service companies, they make things to break these days and am not sure you're going to find that anywhere (again not the fault of Arlinghaus but the manufacturers). They also called me after this review, which I do not appreciate either. If you want good reviews, stop pressuring customers with unnecessary stuff and send more experienced installers when a new system is purchased, those are my only two real issues with them. I will update this if appropriate, and if they start treating us poorly as a result of this, I will update this as well (assume that will not happen).

These guys are great. Buying an HVAC unit is up there with a visit to the dentist...something dreaded, but necessary! I had been putting off buying a unit as a replacement for my 15 year old unit for a significant amount of time. But I finally bit the bullet and started shopping. I had 5 quotes. You'd be surprised the range you get. Feeling I had done my due diligence, I had almost made my purchase. However, a co-worker recommended Arlinghaus, as they had just had a unit installed. What I liked about Arlinghaus is I felt listened to. Yes, I wanted an efficient, reliable, practical unit, but I needed to balance that with the fact that I don't plan on staying in my house forever. That being said, I wanted something good (honestly anything was an upgrade over what I had) but I needed to balance that economically. When I explained my situation to Matt, he didn't try to upsell me. He helped me find the best choice for my situation. That's hard to find, it seems like a lot of the companies I had out assumed I hadn't done my homework. Installation was a breeze. It took the better part of a day. Two guys came out and took good care of the floors and other areas they were in. And the follow up is great too. I unfortunately made a mistake on my payment, an error that would have benefited them. They called me to correct it with no problems, even though they already performed the service. Lastly, they've followed up with a phone call check in. I have only had my unit for a month or so, so I haven't seen my new utility bill. But so far, my house remains the temperature I want it. I know they'd come back out if I had an issue. And, I'm quite pleased with the purchase and a load off my shoulders. Oh and if you're comparing or looking for a specific brand, Arlinghaus sells Trane and Westinghouse. They may sell/install some others, but these guys are a definite.

Temperature outside a chilly 11F.... Wake up the house is a "freezing" 64F Emergency heat not kicking on. What do you do? You get on your trusty YELP APP and check reviews for top rated HVAC companies in the area. Called Arlinghaus Heating and Air Conditioning. Pat B with Arlinghaus was at my house within 1 hour on a Saturday morning. Pat B was very friendly, professional, clean, uniform, badge and the whole 9 yards. He listened too my situation and the symptoms I described to him and went right to work. Tested the furnace to make sure all the electric was pulling correct. Checked the temperature of the air "when it was actually running". Everything seemed fine and he was thinking it was a thermostat issue. Just to be sure and I also believe to ease my mind he took his gauges hooked to my heat pump unit and SHOWED me in WRITING on the heat pump panel as to where the numbers should be. They were SPOT on. Even with him knowing is was most likely the thermostat he took the time to go the extra mile and show me AND explain to me in terms that I was able to understand what was happening. He was NOT looking for a "fast buck". I appreciate this. He offered a thermostat and other recommendations but didn't pressure me to have him do the work, just suggested. This was appreciated very much. After he left went and bought the Nest Thermostat and had it installed in a little over 30 minutes. WARM again. In this day and age it seems sometimes very hard to find good honest people in really any line of work. You wont get this with Arlinghaus Heating and Air Conditioning. I am very satisfied with their service and the professionalism of Pat B. And would recommend them for your heating and air needs.

My AC went out over the weekend, called and they had someone come out on Monday to investigate the issue, was told it was the compressor that was bad and that my warranty was expired in October of 2023, since the owner didn't register the unit when they had it installed. So, new compressor and the work to install, etc was going to be $3900 if i joined the monthly club or it was $4900. Technician came out and installed the new compressor, did his testing and then came to tell me it wasn't just the compressor it was not the TXV valve and that needed replaced for another grand total of $3500 since i was in the monthly club for the compressor. So of course it's one bandaid after another for ridiculous pricing. I asked the technician to have the supervisor call me that night to discuss, not a single person called me. I called Logan Services, the sales guy came out and i told him the situation and he gave me a quote for a brand new entire unit, heat pump, air controller etc for $10k. Why would anyone pay $7500 for two parts? Arlinghaus is an equity owned firm now and it's all about making money. One bandaid at a time and not concerned about fixing the problem. I waited two days for someone to call and then i decided to write a review on their website and it's amazing when you rate them a Zero across the board, how quickly they call. Left me a VM, i called back, She was at lunch, never heard back from her and it's now been 4 days. i called this morning and complained again and still no call back. You want quality service, great customer service and the entire customer experience i highly recommend you stay away from Arlinghaus and i'd put my $ on Logan Services any day of the week.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Our AC has been down for two days, they said they have 24 hour service on call it is a lie. They have a woman waiting up all night to take your service order but they will not respond until the morning. Our AC was working for our new unit but they needed to install the heat pack afterwards because the part did not come in on time. When they arrived to install the heat pack the mechanic broke our AC. He came back to try to fix it but failed to do so. The installation manager I spoke with promised me it would happen but he lied. He thought our air would fix itself magically if we waited a few more hours so I did. I have been calling repeatedly to have someone else comeback but that is not happening. Shout out to Carmen who works the third shift at Arlinghaus. They know how to sell a machine but they do not follow up once they have your money. I am shocked all of their reviews are good. Side note, they tried to install a hot water heater without a pan underneath it even though we were told it comes with. We saw it was being installed without one and the worker said that he didn't have one so he was just going to do it even though he knew there was supposed to be one. Since we caught him, they went to get one and came back. Why would he try to install it without one if he knew it was wrong? Also unprofessional. Less so than the 2 days of 80+ degree weather with no AC when my wife and I work from home. For some reason it says I'm from San Francisco with my review but I live in downtown Cincinnati...
