I cannot say enough good things about this company. I originally called them after another company tried to completely price gouge me for replacing a water line. I was already dealing with a lot in my personal life, and the added financial stress was overwhelming. When I explained my situation, they didn’t just treat me like another job they actually listened. They stepped up in a big way. Not only did they work with me on a fair and honest price, but they also delivered absolutely amazing work. The entire process was handled professionally and efficiently, and you could clearly tell they were doing everything by the book. That gave me so much peace of mind. I want to personally thank Mason, Javier, and Brandon. These guys were incredible. They handled the job quickly, professionally, and with real integrity. They took a huge amount of financial pressure off my shoulders, but just as importantly, they took away the worry. I felt confident the work was being done right the first time. If you’re looking for a company that is honest, professional, and genuinely cares about their customers, this is it. I’m beyond grateful for their help. Highly recommend.

I was very pleased and satisfied with the timeliness and professionalism of the many jobs that Anchor plumbing took care of. Dakota, a very knowledgeable and extremely thorough young man, very willing to help you resolve any and every plumbing issue at hand from repairing a cracked connection to the waterline of the fridge to replacing a faulty installed water heater and and a few other small jobs. I was impressed with the willingness to even help me decide on a new kitchen faucet. So sweet! His crew, Alex and Michael, repaired, replaced and brought me up to code using all safety measures required! Great team! What a peace of mind! I Definitely would recommend Anchor plumbing to my family and friends.

Anchor Plumbing Services was outstanding! They replaced a propane valve for my fireplace and the work was extremely professional from start to finish. What really set them apart, though, was how much time they took to educate me—not just on the fireplace setup, but on my home’s entire propane gas system. Eric Solis was my technician and he was awesome: patient, knowledgeable, and thorough. He didn’t rush anything, answered every question, and made sure everything was done perfectly. The finished work looks great and works exactly as it should. Highly recommend Anchor Plumbing Services.

Pros: prompt service. I was able to call and have someone service the leak in the same day. Staff was courteous. Cons: pricing felt like borderline highway robbery. I had a leak just off the water meter. I exposed and discovered the leak, a pvc 90 degree even calling Anchor. I was quoted 65 dollar service fee and 668 dollars... Around 730 total to fix this l the leak. The only reason I agreed to the estimate was I didn't wish to wait another week for someone else to make it out. TLDR: I won't be using these folks again

Had almost no drainage in the sewer line from house to our over forty year old septic tank. I had the tank pumped - it was time - but the blockage remained. I called Anchor Plumbing and they had Ignacio out the next day. He seemed professional and friendly. I had already dug down to where the sewer line went into the septic tank. Several years ago, we had a plumber put a cleanout line into the sewer line between the house and the tank, schedule 40 PVC, but I did not remember how far toward the tank the newer schedule 40 pipe ran. I assumed it tied into old thin wall pipe going into the tank. Ignacio ran a sewer snake down the cleanout line, which you could hear hit an obstruction right by the tank. It was unable to cut through the obstruction. Ignacio then ran a camera down the pipe and said the sewer pipe was bowed between the cleanout and the tank, which would make it easier for a blockage to start. I looked at the image on the screen but could not really tell what I was looking at. I certainly could not tell whether the pipe was bowed or not. He ran the snake into the pipe again and left it running at the obstruction until something gave way and the hole I had dug filled with thick sewage. Clearly the line had to break to allow that to flow. The sewer line was still full and not draining other than what filled that hole. The tech then left the snake running while he reached through the tank hatch to prod at the obstruction from the other side. The obstruction gave way and dropped into the tank and sewage began running into the tank, draining the sewer line and the dug hole that had filled with sewage. There was visibly a hole in the top of the pipe right at the wall of the septic tank. He had me flush toilets to verify that sewage was draining down the pipe into the tank. He could see the liquid flowing into the tank through the visible hole in the pipe. He assured me we could use our household plumbing, but not to put any paper down the toilets until the pipe was repaired. At that point, Ignacio wrote up a bid to come back the next day to replace the sewer line from the house to the tank, about 14 feet. The bid was for over $5000. I paid the initial $400 for clearing the obstacle and told him I would let them know about the further repair bid. I needed time to process what I had observed and been told. He left and I got the shovel. I dug a trench to expose the top of the sewer line from the cleanout almost up to the smaller hole where the break was visible. All the exposed line was the newer schedule 40 pipe. I used a 4 foot level to confirm my view that the pipe was straight with a continuous drop down to the septic tank entrance. I got my copy of the paid invoice from Anchor Plumbing Services by email after Ignacio had left. In his written description, Ignacio said that he "was able to restore flow but the entry of the pipe going into the septic was completely crushed from the septic sinking with time." By that point, I knew this could not be true. He never described the problem to me that way and it if it had indeed been crushed over time before he started working,: 1. the backup from a crushed pipe would have created a stinking mess of mud and thick growth of grass at the surface, and 2. the hole I had dug to uncover the problem would have been dug into this mess of mud and worse, and the hole would have been filling with sewage from the time I dug it. Instead it filled very suddenly while the cutting tip of his auger was turning at the obstruction, telling me that his auger must have caused the break that leaked that way, maybe catching on a crack in the pipe. It was only after that break, which filled the dug hole with sewage, that he cleared the obstacle and flow was restored, although flowing through a pipe with a big hole in the top. Bottom line, the repair estimate and after-the-fact explanation of the crushed pipe problem felt like avoiding just saying that the sewer snake broke a hole where the obstruction was, in old, maybe cracked pipe, and a way to hit the jackpot by charging over $5000 to replace a short stretch of sewer pipe. I ended up contacting PlumbSmart. They sent a tech out the same evening. He fixed the problem for under $1000 and left everything working and looking good.

My washing machine cold water hose connected to the bibb had rusted into place and couldn't be removed. Not wanting to break any pipes and thinking I needed a professional I called anchor plumbing. They answered the phone immediately and set me up with an appointment the following day. Dakota showed up on-time, came in and looked at the problem and said he had to replace the bibb because he could not take off the hose connection. He then told me he had to replace both bibbs even though the hot water bibb was fine and working perfectly, with no connection problems, rusting or otherwise. He said it was company policy. After using his iPad and talking on the phone, he quoted me a price of $327 and explained to me that the $69 trip fee would be rolled into that cost. I went ahead and told him to do the repair. Yes, that was my decision. He went out to his vehicle and did not have the bibbs he needed and said he had called another technician that was close by and would be going to get them. He came back in with a different kind of bibb and asked me if I wanted to use it/them and I told him no and explained why. So he left to get the bibbs. He wasn't gone very long. I think he probably actually went to the Home Depot that was a quarter of a mile from my house. But that speculation on my part. He came back and in short order, cut the hose, removed the old bib with no problem and replaced it quickly and replaced the hot water bib as well. I asked him about the military discount and after talking on the phone again he came back in and said that even with the military discount, the cost was $327 and change. I found myself wondering where was the discount if the initial price was $327. Sounds like a case of the disappearing discount. I ended up paying $327 anyway. The problem is fixed and again it was my decision to let him do it. But after he left, I found myself thinking I could've cut the hose and replaced the bibb myself for just a couple of bucks. In fact, I looked at Home Depot and two bibs would've cost between $20-$30 depending on which ones I picked My three-star rating is because of the price I was charged for a job that shouldn't cost no more than $100-$150 (and $150 is being generous) in my book. I know management is going to write back and talk about professionalism and warranty, etc. but $327 and change to replace two bibbs seems incredibly high to me. Sticker shock and buyer's remorse. No special tools, no superhuman effort, just quick work with a knife, plumbers tape and a wrench. In retrospect I wish I would've just paid the $69 visit and done the work myself. But I CHOSE to say yes. Lesson learned! Since I imagine I'll get a response from anchor, I ask why do you charge so much for a job that actually took so little actual job time and only required parts that cost maybe $25? I love the response time to my query, Dakota was great on all ways, but the cost for the job was exorbitant. I'm still kicking myself in the rear for saying yes to the job. But, again, lesson learned. My choice. Oh well. As I close out this review, I find myself wondering where the heck did that military discount go?

This plumbing company is a complete rip off!!! When there's an issue they act like they want to help resolve it, but then ghost you. They will charge you an OUTRAGEOUS price and then ignore you when you ask for some money back because they screwed up and left you without hot water ALL WEEKEND. **Please note I have given them a week to call me back about the price gouging after my sink wasn't installed correctly; they have had ample time to review the issues and get back to me. They get here quickly on a Friday morning, give me an estimate, and then after my old sink is out raise the price because something had to be retrofitted. Okay, I understand you don't always know what you have until you remove it. I say okay, let's go forward. My sink has to be filled with water so it can set for 24 hours. The guys complete the work and then leave. Right afterward I try to use the dishwasher - no water flowing to it. I call the plumber and that's an easy fix, the water was turned off. The next morning I am testing the hot water to the sink and it is NOT WORKING. I call the plumber, just like he told me to do if I needed anything, and he tells me that the hot water line is off. It is not off, I told him there was an issue and he told me I was wrong. I gave this guy the benefit of the doubt and waited until I could drain the sink to test the water again. This company is open on Saturdays and I called at 3:45pm to report no hot water. Why didn't they send someone out right then if they were open? I told the woman on the phone the plumber didn't believe me, yet, here I am with no hot water. She schedules me for Monday morning, I am pissed at this point because this should not have happened but here we are. I just paid a ridiculous amount of money to install a kitchen sink that has no hot water!! Someone calls me back on Sunday to say they will send the plumber out first thing in the morning, an hour earlier than expected. I get a dispatch notification at 7:30am on Monday saying the plumber is on the way, he calls me 50 minutes later to say he's on the way. Again, complaining and telling me that I'm wrong and acting annoyed he has to come out at all. GUESS WHAT - the faucet wasn't installed correctly and they had to redo it. The office calls me later, asks if everything is fixed, and I say yes, but why wasn't this done correctly the first time or fixed on Saturday? The woman tells me she will escalate to a manager. Manager calls me back and I explain all of the missteps and the way I was treated and that they want to make it up to me. Okay, well you need to give me some of my money back. That manager says he will send the pricing to be reviewed by his manager and then I was GHOSTED. EDIT: Still waiting on that phone call...

I waited 65 days to write this review so that I could thoroughly assess the quality of parts and workmanship provided by Anchor Plumbing Services. --- Contacted Anchor Plumbing Services for a quote on June 4, 2020 at 8:58 PM. Informed a representative by the name of Paul A. that I would like (1) my old 3/4-inch copper sweat fitting shutoff valve to be replaced with a 3/4-inch male adapter fitting + 3/4-inch ball valve; (2) replace corrugated copper tubes with 3/4-inch stainless steel water supply lines + thread them onto new ball valve; and (3) connect water lines to water softener using adapters (e.g., 1" threaded coupling, 1" x 3/4" threaded bushing, 3/4" nipple). 8 hours and 30 minutes later, Paul A. replied requesting clarification on whether I am hooking up to a new softener or the one in the picture I had sent him. After I told him it would be to a new softener, he quickly replied, "Ok gotcha! Our cost to do what your asking is app 288.00 and that is with all material as well." I, then, requested that we schedule an appointment. Again, he promptly replied, "Absolutely, can you send me your address and contact number and I'll book it." On the afternoon of our scheduled appointment at 12:05 PM, I contacted Paul A. to inquire about the expected arrival of the plumber and whether the plumber would call me before arriving. Paul A. assured me, "Should be within the hour but we will call prior to our arrival." Indeed. At 12:27 PM, two male plumbers from Anchor Plumbing Services arrived, started, and finished before 1:20 PM. --- It has been 65 days since then and the shutoff valve is still working. I successfully used it to shut off water to the house on several occasions, that is, to repair pipes, toilets, and install a pressure reducing valve below the 3/4-inch ball valve. With regard to soldering quality, it is sloppy but effective. It has observable runs, but the temperature was good and seems to have fully penetrated. Aesthetically speaking, the soldering could have been made to look a little nicer, but my primary concern is reliability. Thus I am still awarding Anchor Plumbing Service a 5-star rating. On a final note, I am unable to find the hex nipple 3/4" male NPT I had installed on the corrugated copper pipes before the plumbers' visit. I think the plumbers may have inadvertently taken it away as they were hauling the old pipes to their truck. Nonetheless, it is only an $8.00 part, so I will not hold that against their 5-star rating.

I'm sad having to write this review, as I've been pleased with their service in the past. However... I found my shower was leaking at the handle, so I sent a request on line. Got a call back within minutes, and was able to secure an appointment for the same afternoon. Young man arrived on time, looking very spiffy in a blue polo, embroidered with his name and Anchor Plumbing; very clean cut, professional looking, pleasant personality. I explained what was going on, and when he saw my shower, he told me I had a Mixit system, that they are very unreliable, that Mixit no longer makes parts, and the aftermarket cartridge I need is 60/40 on reliability. He suggested I should have him replace my valve with a Moen, and quoted $1,100+. When I asked him to replace the Mixit cartridge with an aftermarket, he said it would cost $489. He also offered their annual service package, which I declined. I initially said yes to the repair, and he went looking for the part. But while he was gone, I had second thoughts, I'd looked up these cartridges, and on line prices were in the $20 to $40 range. I also considered that I've owned this house since 2007 and never had a problem with the cartridge, making me doubt his claim of unreliability. So I called him back and told him I changed my mind. Thankfully, he said there was no charge for the visit. Since my wife was out and about, I asked her to stop by TMS Faucet Parts and get a cartridge, as I had already called and verified they had them in stock. $31.34 including tax. The proof was in the pudding... I replaced the cartridge in about 30 minutes, and that included finding tools I hadn't touched in years and making two trips to shut off the water when I realized I had installed the cartridge upside down. I'm afraid Anchor Plumbing has lost some credibility with me. I don't mind paying a fair price for good service, but their fees were too much.

DO NOT RECOMMEND Anchor Plumbing Services. I hired them to install two new toilets for me about a year and a half ago, a water heater, a garbage disposal, AND a house shutoff. Paid a mint but they got good reviews. Well, the hall bath toilet started rocking. It turns out they installed it "as is" back onto the flange knowing it wasn't bolted into the floor. So, rather than informing me so I could have them install the toilet properly, they installed it the same wrong way the toilet had been installed previously knowing that I wouldn't be able to see it, since it was underneath the toilet. The only thing holding the toilet down was a bead of caulk. The flange ended up breaking because it wasn't secured, which caused the rocking toilet, and they had the audacity to quote me $2895 to repair the problem they caused from their laziness. DO NOT USE ANCHOR PLUBMING. IN RESPONSE TO PAUL, Manager: I called the number he left. It is just the general customer service number, not one to actually reach or speak with him. This is just a line that he uses with many of the reviews on here. In addition, he NEVER tried to reach out to me. My name on here matches my name on all the invoices and estimates given recently. And seeing as how the estimate they had given me is likely the only one they have for "the replacement of brass and lead flange that had not be(en) anchored down properly during installation of toilets in 2023", he could have found me if he actually really put half an effort into trying to." Paul also apparently didn't feel like looking at the pictures that show that there weren't any flange bolts under the wax ring or any bolt holes in the cement.

My spare bathroom tub faucet would leak when running (see "description of work" on invoice). I put in for a project on Yelp and was quickly contacted by Anchor Plumbing. -They were able to get me schedule very quickly, and even waived the appointment fee (which, I was told is usually $70ish dollars). -This company offers military&veteran discount. -Excellent communication and fast response time! - Mitchell and Matt showed up to complete the repair, and they were both incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. -They checked out my water heater, water softener, and even tested my water for softness FREE of charge! I paid $240 for the faucet leak to be fixed. I'm not sure if this is a good deal or not, but it did take them about 1.5hrs to complete the job and they even had to run to the warehouse mid-job to get a new part (which, they did not raise the price for). The only slightly negative things I will note are... - My appointment was scheduled between 10am&12pm. I got a call at 8:32am saying that they were on route and would be there by 9am. Luckily, I was home and it didn't interfere with any plans. -The bathtub itself was relatively clean when they arrived, but quite dirty after they left. (Debris and other gunk scattered around/inside the tub.) BUT it was easy enough for me to clean up on my own. I've never known a plumber to wipe down a site after working on it, so I don't find this too unusual. Attached picture is the invoice so you can see what services were provided and how much was charged. I really am pleased with the work that they did, and will definitely recommend this company!

My house was built in 1983. I bought it in 2010 to take advantage of the tax breaks that year on new home buys. The owner had remodeled quite a bit so the place was still in good shape. One thing he'd ignored were the master bath fixtures. Well, after eight years of tolerating em, I decided it's time to update. Ran thru my local Home Depot, and found a couple I thought would work perfectly. I actually pondered changing em out myself. In fact, I'd set out one day over the holiday to do just that. After crawling under the sink about 10 minutes I decided this wasn't for me. I usually use another local plumbing company but, much like government contracting, I believe it's important to spread the business around. I return to my faithful Yelp search engine for recos. Surely, I come upon the listing for Anchor. I peruse the reviews then use the handy Yelp tool to request quotes. Anchor was the most reasonable...by about 15%! Now, I don't know if it'd be that way every time, but it was this one. I email back for a time, they're available the next morning. I confirm everything thru the Yelp app. The gent, Henry, calls to confirm they'll be over in a half hour which was the originally scheduled time, and there he was right on time. I meet Henry and Dakota at the door, show em to the restroom, and leave em to their work. In less than an hour, I have two new faucets installed with no trace they were ever there. Henry walks me thru a couple important things and off they go, and I'm back to my day. Well done, folks. Thanks, Yelp. Happy New Year, Anchor.

Down to the wire, this company at every level from the owner, reception, consultation, service, has the customer in mind. I was very anxious to find reliable and affordable plumbing. Dakota thoroughly explained what needed to be done and gave me several options, from the most minimal cost and immediate fix of the issue, to minor/major improvements to better my plumbing after the immediate work. My water pressure had bottomed out, I had no water softener, the problem was quickly diagnosed, there was no overselling and many options were given, Ralph and Gerson were prompt in fixing the problem same day as the consultation, and educated me on my new softener system. From my initial response from the owner, phone call setup, in home consultation, to service was lightspeed. My water pressure, quality is beyond outstanding and the work physically is clean and not sloppy, the quality of materials and workmanship genuinely show. These guys are a must have for any of your plumbing solutions, I wouldn't call anyone else. TLDR; Water psi was at 30 at a faucet outside, couldn't do laundry or take a shower, do dishes, etc. Bad prv, expansion tank replacement, needed water softener to improve water quality. Quick fast service, many options to pay, different levels of improvement based on budget, no overselling or pressuring, patient, understanding, and educational service. Post repair/install: Psi at 70, water softener improved water quality significantly, entire home is running better than ever. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Everything about Anchor Plumbing Services spells professionalism, outstanding customer service and attention to detail. I called them after we noticed we weren't getting any hot water in the shower. My husband went to check our water heater in the attic and noticed some water in the pan beneath the water heater. I immediately looked on Yelp and Nextsdoor for highly reviewed plumbing companies and Anchor came up. I called and Lyndsey answered and was very friendly asking me all sorts of questions in order to share as much detail information to the technician. I did tell her I would not be home until 3:30 would it still be possible to have someone come out that late in the afternoon, her response was absolutely that would be no problem. Mitchell called me to let me know he would be coming by around 3:30 and was there, he diagnose our problem and gave me an price on what it would cost to replace our water heater. I was surprised to hear him say they could replace it that afternoon . He called in the water heater we chose and within 1/2 an hour Dakota and Clay two other technicians showed up with our new water heater. They prepared the area where they were going to work to make sure nothing would get dirty and started working. It took 2 hours for them to finish the project. They took pictures of all the work they did and even pointed out a small opening around the vent area that needed to be resealed by our roofer. Great job! Thanks again Anchor Plumbing!

What an absolutely great company to work with. We had to replace our water heater and decided to get a few quotes on it. Anchor responded the same day and set an appointment for the next business day. When they came to give us a quote, we let them know that we still had a couple more quotes to get so we weren't deciding right then. Brandon, our tech, proceeded to give us tips and questions to ask the OTHER companies to ensure we were getting the best quality from them. He educated us on verbiage he was using and that the other companies may say to get us to pay more. Instead of getting cold and finishing the quote quickly, they stayed for 5-10 minutes to give us this information and answer any of our questions. We recieved a few quotes that were under and above what Anchor quoted but we could not get past the quality and customer service of these folks. We went with Anchor, scheduled the installation, and in about 2 hours they were done! They even took off the door where the water heater was located for us (the room was too small for the water heater on our end, not theirs). It's a couple weeks and our water is feeling good feeling great! Overall, it was an extremely pleasant experience and I would have no doubts going back to them for any of our plumbing needs. Great company!
