Emergency Response
Rapid emergency response and after-hours availability. Multiple reviews cite same-day or next-day service during emergencies, including weekend calls.
What To Watch Out For
Inconsistent diagnostic thoroughness. One 5-star review (pqlfRBHxAA6kSwXmVeRQ) reports technician refused to properly inspect water heater, only visually assessed age and recommended replacement—customer still had hot water and alarm was the real issue.
Major follow-up failures on complex repairs. Two reviews report unresolved issues after significant spend: pressure regulator installed incorrectly causing ongoing low water pressure (uznpOFtJMHRKEIrWQcVE), and sewer line coating job failed within weeks, leading to multiple backups and unresponsive management (xwdgAUy7Wk3SMEM2ZpL1).

MP Daniel Moncrief came I would 24 hours we notified them the night before we had a storm and noticed a weird sound from the hot water heater closet that the flu was completely off. They kindly put an appointment came by the next morning and fix it or no charge. very nice pleasant courteous appreciate them very much. They did a great job as well as Serena the encore. It was very attentive and kept me up-to-date on their availability.
A kind soul, real glad I got to meet him. Did a great job. Showed that he really cares about what he does. Very professional and took his time ensuring the job was right. I feel like a better job of communicating could be done between them and the city when it comes to time frames of arrivals for inspections but Bubba explained that also. I'm just glad to have heat again. Very thankful. Kind of pricey but hey if you want it done right then peace of mind is what you'll get. Thanks Bubba
Douglass Wolf came to our home on icy roads to help us with our hot water heater. He did a great job and let us know exactly what was going on with our heater. Very knowledgeable. Thankful for his expertise and workmanship.
Their driver cut us off, and numerous others, on highway 183 doing about 20 miles over the speed limit with no signal. Wouldn't use them for anything. I'd leave 0 stars if I could.
They will overcharge you based on your zip code/house size. I used All Masters twice. The first time I obtained a clear quote over the phone. A gentleman came out and fixed the issue - he tried to charge about $100 more than what I had agreed to, but once I explained, he honored the price with minimal fuss. Good enough experience where I called them back for a (separate) second issue that happened a few months later. They would not provide a quote over the phone. When they came, they indicated a bathroom faucet needed replacing and quoted me over $900. Before I could push them out the door they lowered it to $750 if I would sign that day. I ordered the faucet for $250 from Home Depot, waited 10 days for it to arrive, then replaced it in 30 minutes with minimal plumbing experience. I feel they saw my nicer home and tried to take advantage of me. I would avoid this company and use another. Also interesting is that their website shows "409 Yelp reviews" of 4+ stars, but I could only find this one where I am posting this review, which has 9, mostly bad reviews. Be careful with using this company....
I hired ALL MASTERS and they wanted $2150.00 to repair a leak in our yard. My husband had already dug a hole and found a leaking pipe blue pipe. They wanted half upfront which I paid and Wade Benson told my husband and I that the remaining balance would be collected once the work was completed. They came out the next day and dug a bigger area in the yard and left. Wade Benson Technician came back and wanted Thousands of dollars to repair the water line. He stated that it was 100 feet and that they charge $100 a foot and came up with price of $10,000. He attempted to collect half of the $5000 and and include the rest of the original amount in the final cost. I got him to take out the remaining balance on first repair which didn't happen but I paid $1,075 for them to dig a hole. They got a crew out the next day to begin the line repair and I got a call from my husband stating that they were requesting the remaining balance of $5,000 and then they would have the work inspected and then fill in the now 3 holes including torn up shrubs, grass and plants in my front yard. Luckily they didn't have to dig a trench because they were able to do it underground. I was told that they cannot always do the underground method but that if a trench was required, it would not cost me any more from us. I told my husband that I would not be paying the final payment until the work is done and inspected by the city inspector. I asked about a permit but my husband stated that they had not provided a copy of the permit. I called their office and talked to a gal at the office and she had told my husband that the work had already been inspected. She told me that she made a mistake and it had not been inspected ( same thing I read in another guys review, problem is, I didn't see that review until it was too late). I told the lady that I would not be paying until the work was completed. After a heated discussion and her telling me what I am going to do. At this time, the CITY inspector is to come tomorrow and according to the lady in office, the crew to fill the holes cannot come until Friday. I told the lady I had no problem with them coming Friday and that I had no problem paying them but that I had read bad reviews regarding them not finishing the job by leaving the holes open. At this time I am still happy to complete the transaction if the CITY inspector is on the up and up and this company is on the up and up as well. I checked the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners and could not find this company nor Responsible Master Plumber Bryan Barnes M-39664 and he is not listed as licensed.
I wish I could leave a zero star review! These people are scammers. I don't know how they have any good ratings. Probably because they wrote them all themselves. I had a leak that I noticed because of the stain on the roof of my garage and I called All Masters Plumbing on 4/16/19 to send someone to check it out. They sent a technician who looked for a long time and seemed like he couldn't find the problem. He cut out a square in the roof of my garage to look at the plumbing which costed me $150. Then he asked us to pour water on the gasket of my upstairs bathtub to see if the leak was coming from there. He said he saw the leak and that's where it's coming from. He said the whole gasket needed to be replaced which would cost $275. The total came out to $425 and we were told we would have to pay half and he will come back the next day to change out the gasket because he didn't have the part on him. We paid $212.50 but the whole thing felt fishy because he seemed like an inexperienced technician and did not seem to know what he was doing. The next morning I climbed up and looked into the hole he cut out and asked my mother to pour water on the gasket like he told us to do the previous night to see if I noticed any leak. There was not any signs of leaking or water dripping. So, we called another company for a second opinion. They sent a technician who told us all we needed was to get some grout sealer from home depot to patch the cracks near the bath tub. This company didn't even charge us for coming out. I called All Masters Plumbing on 4/17 for a refund which the said would be $62.50 (the lady that answered the phone was not apologetic and was nonchalant about the whole situation) since we wouldn't be refunded for the $150 because he cut a hole in the roof of my garage which I expected but after a whole month still did not receive any checks from them. I almost forgot about the refund too, bet they we counting on it. Called them again on 5/23 regarding the refund that still was not received. (The lady on the phone said they forgot to send it out! Yeah, sure I bet they never planned on sending it out anyways). Called again on 5/27 because still no refund was recieved and was told because Monday was a holiday, it was delayed. Finally, recieved the refund yesterday. This company is just trying to scam customers of their money and providing half assed services. Very unprofessional please do not use this company and get scammed like I did.
Brent C. This company only wants to replace where there is a problem. They don't want to fix anything, and they overcharge. All-Masters Plumbing takes advantage of the consumer. The only good reviews they have are on Google, and they can manipulate the Google reviews. Before using this company, please check Yelp, Facebook, or any other review service. When you call the office, you can't get an answer. They are very good at getting you off the phone without giving you any information. They always say I'll have someone call back, but they never do. I rate them a negative 10. Don't sign their contract. They will make you pay for everything before they start work if you call them about it. They only say it is in your contract. They won't break out the work on your invoice which causes problems with the claims adjusters and makes it almost impossible to figure out what you are paying for. They will only give you a total. We had stopped up waste lines. They told us the Galvanized waste lines were broken and needed to be fixed. They put an insert in the line, and the insert sticks to the outer current pipe. I tell you this because I was reading the invoice, and it says if I call the city for an inspection of the insert, I will be responsible for paying to replace the original pipe. What? They also said they would fix the line to the front bathroom, but they didn't. After they fixed the waste line, they said we needed a new water heater for $4,995.00 because the 5-year-old one we had was old and had sediment in the bottom. We got a second opinion, and the second plumber fixed it for $200.00. Guess what happened about 4-5 days after everything had been supposedly fixed. THE WASTE LINES STOPPED UP! They had to blow the lines out again. I got a loan to pay for the above work, and I was looking at the invoice sent to my loan company for payment to All-Masters. Guess what? They charged me $4,995.00 to the loan company, and the loan company paid All-Masters for the water heater that was never installed. If I had not noticed it in the invoice, it would have never been discovered, and All-Masters would have overbilled me by $4,995.00.
Unfortunately, I have had a lengthy interaction with this plumber. Approximately 14 months ago I was having a problem with a secondary water heater. I requested an evaluation and their recommendation was to replace the water heater. The original water heater was approximately five years old, but out of the manufacturers warranty. I question whether the water heater genuinely needed to be replaced. I think it is very possible The original water heater could have been repaired, however, I cannot confirm that at this point. The water heater gets very limited use. Within a year from the installation, it was not working again. I attempted to schedule, and their manager was very unprofessional over the phone. Our scheduled windows were frequently missed without apology, or provisions to narrow that window or prioritize at the next schedule. They eventually replaced the heating element. This was likely the only necessary repair for the first water heater in my estimation. One month after the heating element was installed, the water heater was not producing hot water again. All master plumbers evaluated the unit and offered a $10,000 repair with an anode installed to address hard water. There was no recommendation for this to be installed at the time of the replacement. They stated it was absolutely necessary to prevent the heating element from failing repetitively. I had another, much more reputable plumber, evaluate the water heater. The second opinion repair quote was less than $3000 as opposed to all masters $10,000. It was all around a very bad experience. They scheduled and then did not show up. We wasted 4 hours of our day waiting on the tech to never arrive. This occurred multiple times with rescheduling. They made no attempt to reconcile for missed appointments. The manager was combative and rude over the phone. The owner did not return multiple request for phone calls. In short, I would not recommend wasting your time with this plumber for even simple tasks. If your experience is anything like mine, you will waste time, money, energy, and frustration.
I could not recommend this company less. I will filing complaints with both the Plumbers Association and the BBB after my experience with All Masters. You would think with charging $40 a foot on average, the work would be top tier, as would the customer service. It has been the opposite. It began with a kitchen re-route, and turned into 30k worth of our lines being lined with the fancy new liner. Not only did I have to explain was was expected to be done anytime a service member showed up, but we also almost never saw the same face twice. Maybe high turn around. Once out re-route was complete, they begin to do the liner and it was downhill from there. Our home flooded 4 total times while the work was being performed. When they "finished" the project and had it "inspected", they called for the final payment so they could bury our lines finally, after 2 weeks worth of delays and constantly being unable to use our plumbing. We noticed the spot under the city line was leaking, and the liner was bent. So I was curious how it passed inspection. After calling around, I discovered that the inspection was never performed because they never got the permits to do the work. At this point, I had lost all trust in this company. They charge for a permit, and they planned to pocket the money and bury the problem in the line. I demanded they fix the liner, obtain permits, have it inspected, and bury my lines because I was ready to hand over my final payment. After much back and forth and heated arguments with the office and josh and Dan, we agreed to a cashiers check once the diggers were on site. The company told me repeatedly they have no reason to believe I would give them the money, even though I had paid 2/3 of the job at this point. They then attempted to leave without my burying my lines once they had the check in hand before I ended up having to threaten to file complaints formally. This has been one of the worst business experiences in my life. DO NOT USE ALL MASTERS. THEY WILL LIE AND POCKET YOUR MONEY, all while boasting a ten year warranty that you'll never use.
My warranty company paid for the initial drain stoppage in my yard. Had to call them back because the problem continued. This time, they ran the camera and discovered that I had a broken line as well as a lot of tree roots in the line. They then came back to replace the pipes. After inspections, they came back to cover up the hole. Everything as far as I knew was fine until it started to rain a few days later. I quickly found out that they did not pack the dirt under my sidewalk which created a stream type path under the sidewalk in my yard and extended to the city sidewalk. I called them and let them know that this was happening. I was told by Haley (not sure about the spelling) that they would come out and take care of this. It rained off and on for a week so once it stopped, I called back to ask about it again. Was told that it would get done. No time or date given. A week later called back again. Told me that I could talk to the owner who never came to the phone, but would call me back. No callback. A week later, the same. After this, I got the warranty company involved. I stayed on the line while they talked to them. Promised that they would come out that day. No show. Repeat with the warranty company again the next day. Same result. These people will get the money and LIE, LIE, LIE. I know that my warranty company paid them $3200 just for the line replacement, not to mention the other calls. I was tired of looking at my yard with this compromised sidewalk, so I did it myself. I didn't need it to fall in. I am a senior citizen who cannot afford to pay for these extras. It took me 3 hours because I had to level out some other parts. I have back problems from a rear-end collision that I know will flare up from shoveling. Thank you, All Masters for not being truthful. You may have done me wrong today, but karma has a way of making it all work out. Seen it too many times.
All Masters repiped my entire home. The service started out UNPROFESSIONAL because one of the employees had a serious potty mouth and had no couth in my opinion. The work started out being done in a timely manner; however, once they were paid, they started dragging their feet to complete the job when they were told well in advance that I had an upcoming trip out of the state. They assured me that they could be done before my trip. I found myself constantly calling as to when the job would be completed only to listen to various staff members, mostly females, who were well-trained in apologizing, cautious with their excuses, and basically lying for their employees' no-show behaviors. I had to conduct business with them while I was visiting my family in another whole state! It was a frustrating experience and the city of Desoto red-flagged the plumbing job at the end because their so-call professionals neglected to do what they knew the city required for plumbing inspections (adding of insulation). They didn't have a choice but to correct their flaws. Secondly, one of the workers didn't turn off my pipes while they were in the process of doing the job. Water ended up in my living room floor as well as the kitchen and nook. The head employee (Potty-Mouth) of the job informed the company, but I didn't get so much as an apology from the company...totally unprofessional! Finally, the machinery used by one of their employees to get to my outdoor water line tore up an area of my neighbor's yard! They did repair his yard after my repeated calls and persistence about the issue. I would never use this company again! Their easy offer of financing is attractive, but it is my belief that they over-price customers, and have little to no professional ethics. They need to change their name because the only thing they are masters in is DECEIT!!!!!
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!! Full of FALSE PROMISES and LIES!!! My elderly mother needed someone to come out to fix a broken spigot that was pumping out gallons of water into her yard and threatened to flood her house. The city water department came out and was unable to turn it off from the street so she called All Masters that is advertised as 24/7 (the first lie) and scheduled for someone to come at between 2am - 6 am. NO ONE CAME. She called them back at 6:34 am and they said "we don't know why no one came out. We will call a supervisor and they will call you right back." 45 minutes later, NO CALL. So my mom called again and she received a text at 7:43 am with Alberto Sanchez en route to her home. She then receives another text at 7:54 am that another plumber, Junior Aviles, was he was en route to her home. One hour later, NO ONE SHOWED UP!!! At almost 9am, someone from the city water department said they would come out to try to fix it for her so she called All Masters back to say forget it since it was clear no one was going to show up in any kind of timely manner, to which the representative said "okay" and hung up. They sure took their sweet time getting someone out to her house after no one showed up in the initial time frame they promised, but they were quick to collect her credit card information for the service call fee!!!! WILL NEVER USE THEM OR RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!!!! Don't advertise 24/7 emergency plumbing if it's BS because that's called FALSE ADVERTISING.
We felt completely taken advantage of after working with All Masters Plumbing and I would highly recommend not using this company. The price they charged us for the work was near criminal. Plus, I have heard that most of their reviews are paid for and fake so be weary. I would leave a 0 star review if possible. The technicians seem to be trained to scare the customer into paying for things they don't need then over charging for the job. For example they quoted us on a job they said was "necessary" to replace our water heater for a price of $5k while another plumber came out and fixed the issue for $200. This other plumber even mentioned they have heard numerous horror stories about All Masters Plumbing taking advantage of people. In another situation, we had an emergency and we decided to go with All Masters Plumbing because they said they could get out there and fix it right away. Turns out they Over Promised, Under Delivered, and Over Charged. I'm genuinely embarrassed to admit the amount they charged us for the work they did. It makes me sick to my stomach and the only reason we went with them is because we were in an emergency situation. Then, once they started the job the cost of the project kept going up and up. Again, we felt completely taken advantage of. In addition, their customer service was terrible, I would consistently call in and ask for updates, they would tell me they would call me back and never did. I would highly recommend not working with this company.
All Masters Plumbing (AMP) was the assigned plumber through Service Line Warranties to determine a leak in our front yard. It was the irrigation line and not the city line. The leak became a gusher once the earth was removed and I hired AMP to repair the leak. While repairing the leak, the plumber determined our pressure was dangerously high and would (over time) damage large appliances on the line. We researched it and agreed, so hired AMP to install a pressure regulator. Big mistake. Could not take a shower and run faucet at the same time. Pressure ridiculously low. Since the regulator was installed, AMP came out 2 more times to open the valve, had me sign a statement that I requested to increase the pressure. Was told that we should spend another 2K+ to change the water line to a quarter inch larger. Husband also opened the valve to max. Still pressure problems. I called AMP to remove the pressure regulator 3 of 4 times, even threaten to leave this bad review. No response except for the receptionist said she would pass the message to the supervisor. I am NOT a plumber and mistakenly relied upon AMP to know how the regulator would affect the water pressure. After spending over $800 with AMP on the regulator, I now have to spend $650+ with another plumber to have it removed. And just learned that AMP used a 'shark bite' that is prone to leaking. You have been warned...do not use this plumber.
