My nephew needed septic pumped they showed up immediately!! In Lockport today ! Very good service!!!!!!!!
Dom was great! Came out replaced ejector pump, pumped my septic system. Super friendly hard working and kind guy. Refreshing to see the young guys doing an awesome job and taking pride in their work.
All the work over the years has been top notch. Harold
their website says all over it that they answer the phone 24/7. they in fact do not answer 24/7. while I understand today is the day after a holiday 24/7 to me would mean everyday. how can you have emergency services if you don't answer the phone?
Very poor at customer service. Took me three times to try to get them to come out and take a look at my aunt's property. Said not a problem have you an estimate in a few days. Now fourth time trying to call them back after still not getting back to me now they're telling me they can't do the job. Pretty sad company you have to beg them for business and then they never get back to me to tell me they can't do the job. Poor customer service never to use this company
Long story short, I fixed the problem myself & paid them $625 for hydro jetting a line that was supposed to completely clear the line but it didn’t & I rented a Rodder & fixed the issue myself. An hour after they left. Justin was completely unprofessional. Tried to say I needed emergency digging since hydro jetting didn’t solve the issue. Since they didn’t fix the issue they needed to charge me another emergency fee to come back plus another service fee to service my pipes again. Nobody checked the drain that the water flowed to the septic when they left. Justin asked why I didn’t watch the plumbers do their job lol. If the job wasn’t done right the first time, why do I have to pay again for you to come & fix the issue you should have fixed in the first place. Why would you charge a customer that called an hour later that they have the same problem that you didn’t fix the in the first place. Justin hasn’t called me back in 7 days since our last 22 minute conversation. Told me he had another more important call he needed to handle. I asked him to call me back. Not even a text message since then. I don’t recommend you spend your hard earned money on this company. Seems like this is a reoccurring issue based on all their 1 star reviews. Bad service. Even worse customer service.
Where do I even start… We’ve had a string of bad luck lately (honestly, it feels like Mercury is permanently in retrograde for us). Our kitchen fell apart, and after a terrible contractor experience, we were terrified to hire anyone else, especially when our septic tank failed. Horribly. To say we were in a shitty situation would be an understatement. We’d worked with Ability Septic before for pump jobs, and they’d always been straightforward and reliable. This time, Melissa C. was an absolute GODSEND. From the very first call (when I was practically in tears) she not only listened, but had me laughing through the mess. Every step of the way, Melissa has given us transparent pricing, clear timelines, and honest feedback on what we could do while waiting for permits. She’s kept me completely informed, and it’s taken such a huge weight off my shoulders knowing she’s on top of every detail. I can’t thank the whole Ability team enough, from the guys hauling the tough stuff, to the office staff, and even the third-party crews they work with. Everyone has been professional, kind, and honest. With a family of 7, septic issues could have been a nightmare. But knowing our “shit” is in their hands, I feel confident we’ll never be left clogged or stranded. 🖤🖤
Job was estimated, signed the contract, scheduled the work to be done, reconfirmed the date again, took the day off, and thanks to A&P Grease Trappers (a.k.a. Ability Septic and many other names) they were a BIG FAT NO SHOW.... While the office workers are pleasant enough, I can only imagine the amount of work this company is losing due to the unorganized chaotic way they run the office. The initial reason they provided was gee we don't have you scheduled (even though reconfirmed) to "oh yeah" I remember talking to you, to "I left you a message" stating we had to get the items needed for the repair to "Hey we will give you $$ off".... They totally miss the point... day late and a dollar short.. A&P's Lesson Learned: Do what you say you're going to do and be prepared - DONT inconvenience your customers by having them take the day off for a "ghost" appointment, after all they do need to make the money to PAY for your services. Follow the 7 P's - Prior proper planning prevents piss poor performance! My Lesson Learned: Pay attention to the past reviews, they do have merit, PS - Food for thought... The positive review by Melissa C.- I wonder if thats the same Melissa that runs the office... coincidence? perhaps.
We were in a bind as our septic field was blocked and needed opening up. Out of state family were coming which included 3 grandchildren. My husband and son had tried to work on it the previous week. (They had successfully done this in the past.) However this was a bigger job, a bigger obstruction than ever before. Ability Septic was called and we cannot express enough our thankfulness for their outstanding work!!! The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Ricardo came, assessed the situation, made a plan of what was needed and presented a very fair estimate on the cost. The team of Javier and Dean came and did outstanding work, identifying problems and issues, removing the plugged areas in the system, hydro-jetting the lines and repairing/replacing problem areas in our septic lines. These men were knowledgeable, hard working, considerate, and polite, especially in answering all my questions and letting me take photos for future reference. They worked in drizzling rain, knowing the job needed to get done. We highly recommend Ability Septic! Our sincerest thanks go to each member of your awesome team for helping us with this messy situation!
If I could give these folks extra stars I would! Every part of my experience with Ability was fantastic: from my phone call inquiring about pricing, to my call back to schedule a septic tank pumpout, to the pumpout visit this morning. The lady who answered my phone calls was very helpful and friendly yet professional, I believe her name was Connie. Thank you, Connie! :) And the two gentlemen who came out for the service call were SUPER knowledgeable and friendly and professional. I did a boatload of research before buying a house on septic but they knew things that didn't even occur to me, like the fact that I need to divert the gutter downspouts away from the drainfield for max drainfield performance. They even wrote that on my receipt, which is awesome because my memory stinks sometimes lol. Did I mention that they showed me exactly where the different parts of the drainfield were located, at no additional cost? Some of the companies I called wanted to charge for that. And speaking of money, their pricing can't be beat! Tl;dr: I will definitely be calling Ability next time we need anything septic related. :)
Horrible company. Got a whole new system installed by them they did it in January when it was 20 below zero. First issue that happened right off the bat was they broke the concrete of my pool patio on the wrong area due to them having the wrong map of the old septic system. Second issue I had is they broke all of the pipes of the pool for them being careless and using a giant escavator to dig it up when they saw that I had a pool never told me that my pool was going to get damaged. Third issue i had was once they finished installing my system in early February 1 week later the septic system pipes that they buried was crushed by the large frozen clumps of dirt and gravel they covered it which caused for my septic to back up into my house flooding my basement i had to leave my house to go sleep at somewhere else. Third issue is that is that it was not the only time it backed up into my house this happened 2 other times. If your looking to get your septic system replaced please don't use this company they're deceitful their own employees disclosed that they had the same issues with other customer.
I had a septic issue where water was earring the ground and pooling before my fields. First guy I called kept saying ugh I don't know, I don't know. Then his boss called r saying I need an entire new septic 15k-20k. Second guy I called a couple months later told me that all I need is a flush to the fields for $1500 and worse case need fields redone 5-8k. I said ok and he never came.....thank god. So I never answered their calls again. Then I called ability septic, they came out sucked my septic and assessed that my header lines collapsed to the fields. So only one out of four fields working. He explained what kind of pipe in ground and what caused it and was totally correct. They explained that they try to help the customer with pricing of the job rather than gouge like other company's. And they charged me $1600 to replace everything from the septic tank to the fields. Now no more water. I would say this is the most honest and knowledgeable septic outfit out there. This is the ace to help u diagnose the issue correctly for a fair price. Thank you ability.
Just put a call into Ability and they are running 100% for answering the phone with a speaking, helpful human being. IMAGINE THAT! Ability installed a new system for us last fall, upgraded the tank size and discharge piping (an old tech pipe material was near failure..good catch by them) and I needed to get a bead on the first pump out timing. Turns out the larger 1500g tank was a great idea, as LIFE happened with the birth of a new citizen last May making for a much busier household. You can find larger companies and enjoy their robotic phone systems or you can call Ability and work with folks who show their pride and professionalism in the conduct of business. So rewarding to find a supplier that TRIES to work with you and satisfy needs in an informed dialogue instead getting bounced around searching for the right person. No matter who picked up the phone...pertinent answers were the result. Ability folks know their business well and care about it, but more importantly, they CARE ABOUT their customers!!
*response to owner comment Can you explain any avenue at all that you pursued to get this resolved, Besides giving us the run around for 4 months and lying to me about the fact that it was your own son who was driving the truck? The reason that we didn't file a police report is because our lawyer advised us that the payout we were likely to get from a small claims court would not be worth our time, given our current financial situation (which is plenty secure). I truly can't believe that you expect your customers to file a police report and take you to court in order to for you to make things right. As I explained to you numerous times there were no packages delivered that day and the only other workmen came the following week (days after the damage) because your guys did not finish the job. There is no question whatsoever that your truck caused the damage.
My sump pump went out at my house during the night. Called ability septic and spoke to Robin who told me they would come out immediately and fix the issue. I told her i had 3-4 inches of water in my basement. I called them for the emergency service it says they provide. Not only did they not fix the problem, they left and said “well we can come back tomorrow around 11AM”. Thats not emergency service, its no service. When i called back Robin answered and i told her nothing was fixed and i said that i should not be charged for nothing being done. Her response was “well it’s not my company, so i don't know what to tell you”. Great customer service you can absolutely tell she did not care. I will never use this place again. I urge others to stay away from this place since they don’t stand by what they say. They did nothing and they still want to charge me.
