Shawn is fantastic. While I worked at a bar downtown as a manager he was my go to guy for all of our plumbing issues. He would always come out within a few hours if not sooner to take care of all of our needs, and trust me drunk people like to flush ungodly randoms things that clog toilets. After that, I changed jobs and was a manager at a restaurant and he was the go to guy there as well! At this point Shawn has been the only plumber myself and these companies have used in about the three years I’ve known him. I use him as my home plumber now as well. He fixed my bathtub faucet leak and my kitchen sink clog. He is efficient and fast. He gets the job done perfectly and I plan on using him for my whole bathroom remodel when the time comes! You need a fantastic plumber who is capable, efficient and just an all around great guy he’s your dude!

The guys with 1 Tom were true professionals and got our heater installed fast and did a great job. They were also courteous and friendly. Thanks, 1 Tom!

UPDATE: Approximately 30 minutes after Shawn and Darian left, we were without hot water, yet again. I called them back out the next day, and I was informed it was a cartridge in the single-handle shower upstairs causing our entire house to be without hot water. I informed the technician I would not accept that answer, and we called another company out two days later. Upon telling the new company what was happening, he immediately diagnosed it as the recirculating pump, which we had mentioned both times 1 Tom had been out. After running diagnostic testing, it was confirmed to be the recirculating pump. Fast forward to the next day, and we had discovered a significant gas leak at our water heater. There were missing and loose screws, allowing gas to flow freely into our garage instead of properly venting out into the exhaust. I’d like to think that 1 Tom would have noticed this since they “watched the flame rod for 30 minutes,” but nothing was ever mentioned about it (the second company did not have to “open” our water heater for the recirculation pump diagnostic). Our family’s health was severely jeopardized by this oversight. I highly recommend spending your money elsewhere. Shawn and Darian were quick and efficient with their service! Having no hot water isn’t any fun, but they fixed the problem quickly, and they made sure to thoroughly explain the problem they found. 10/10 recommend these guys!!

We were having a birthday party and our drains were backing up. Wife wouldn't let me handle it and called around for a plumber as it was a Sunday. Had a plumber out and took him longer than I'd expect, plus he said he had to reset our toilet in the master bath. Said he couldn't get his snake to make the bend. Long story short, couple months down the road, drains are backing up again. This time I went under the house to check where the blockage was. The drains should have never passed inspection when the house was first built but they've worked for 20 years prior to use buying it 3 years ago. I pulled the clean out plug after draining the main line and looked towards the turn to the lateral that exits the foundation to the septic tank. I could see the end of the plumbers snake broken off at the 90. I ended up cutting out a 10' section after the 90 and found that the plumber hadn't even cleared the worst of the obstruction. Had one of their managers come out to look at the job and he confirmed the snake head was one of theirs. Saw what I cleared out to make my drains work again and verified the tech should have scoped to verify all was clear and didn't....all of this we were charged $1000 for crap work. Asked him to give me a price on fixing a couple of problems with the drains that shouldn't have ever passed the building inspection, let alone the inspection we had when we bought the home. He said they would knock off the labor as the job their plumber had done was not up to their expectations. Yeah sorry guys....I'm not going to give you another $1000 for something I'm going to do for $150. Got a call from a gal at their office on the 7th of October asking if I had looked at their proposal? I laughed and said "the guy that came out and said they had done a piss poor job said they'd just charge me for materials, as the work performed before wasn't good at all". I told her I'd rather right this review than pay you guys another dime to tip me off. She said that the manager/head guy would get in touch with me the next week as he was out of town this week. I said fine, I'll wait for his call.... Again, that call was the 7th of October...it's now the 10th of November and not a word. I've been busy and my drains are working as best they can so I waited. Done waiting and here is my review.... I would hire these guys ever again..burn me once shame on you, burn me twice, shame on me. Pics are of the initial cut on the main lateral and after I had dug about half way through the sludge their plumber didn't get rid of.

Where do I begin?! I called Tom Plumbers after I came home from being out a couple of hours to find about an inch of water on the floor of our powder room. A hissing sound was coming from behind the sink in the wall. They were able to schedule someone to come out on Easter Saturday for the repair. When Jeremy arrived, he quickly identified the leak in the wall - the water line had a strange nick in it. Just as he was out to seal up the dry wall, he called me over and said: “well, we have a problem. There’s a squirrel in the wall.” And sure enough there it was curled up into a small spot. What transpired from there was wild. A failed attempt to coax the squirrel into a bucket led quickly to a chase around the bathroom and finally to a safe release outside and across the street into a field. The water line didn’t have just one nick in it but several! Jeremy crawled into the crawl space, replaced the water line all the way through and had the water back on in a mere 2 hours for us. I can’t thank Jeremy enough especially for working late in the evening on Easter Saturday. He went above and beyond to make sure the water was no longer leaking anywhere and sealed up everything so nicely. 1 Tom Plumber is great in a pinch with such knowledgeable and thorough professionals like Jeremy.

Our water heater was producing inconsistent temperatures, so we scheduled a service visit. Unfortunately, the original plumber who was sent did not perform a diagnostic to our expectations and misquoted potential costs. However, management promptly followed up with us and sent out a seasoned professional at no additional cost, along with a commitment to retrain the newly hired technician. Our second experience was much better. Shawn quickly performed a thorough diagnostic and identified the issue as a faulty lower thermostat. He clearly explained the problem, provided multiple reasonable options moving forward, and assured us that the cost from the initial visit would be applied toward any additional service related to this issue.

Called 1-tom-plumber to help unclog a toilet line for one of our residents. The office staff was very polite, honest and helpful. They told us that the first plumber can only respond after hours in the same day but if they can they will send someone sooner. Cameron called us and arrived at about 3:15 which was much sooner than we expected. He was great and unclogged the toilet in about 15minuets time. We are very pleased with Cameron and the staff. Everything was done very professionally. I will use 1-tom-plumber in the future and also recommend the company to others. 2nd time using 1-tom-plumber was just as great an experience as the first time. Thank you for your service Cameron.

Thomas was "A plus" in every aspect of the word professional, he explains everything well shows pictures of the job. Always a smile on his face. His appearance was professional. The office support was excellenr,she spoke well and clear to understand and explain the billing process very. I talked to the general manager and he is very well spoken gentleman. I truly believe he cares about his customers and his employees. Overall this company you can put your trust in getting the job done and done right the first time. There is no other plumbing company you will need.

We had some issues that started thisbmorning cause us to be out of a toilet completley. 1-Tom-Plumber was able to send a technician out almost immediately. James arrived right on time exactly when they estimated he would be here. I described the issue to him and he knew right away what the problem was. It only took him a couple of minutes to fix the issue and now our toilets work better than before! Great customer service and very satisfied with the results. Highly recommend these guys!

This was the first time calling this company and the customer service was great. They sent Jeremy and two others over for a leak inspection for the property, he called the office to let me know they were here to complete the leak inspection. The communication that was provided by Jeremy was excellent during the time that they performed inspections and to narrow down if the was a problem!!! I would definitely call them again! Thank you!

Shawn came out to assess and repair a potential clog in my toilet, and a heavy clog in my sink. He showed up on time, and was able to diagnose the problem quickly. He fixed the problem, and gave an extremely fair price for his expertise. I am a general contractor myself, and finding a good plumber like Shawn is difficult. I highly recommend 1-Tom plumber! I will be calling them for all my Plumbing needs in the future.

I live in an apartment complex and had a back up in the plumbing. I was told to expect someone between 2-5:30. Cameron showed up just a little after 2 and had everything fixed, plus he cleared my shower drain of hair within an hour. Cameron was very professional and respectful with my family and got the job done well and quick. I would 100% recommend to anyone with plumbing problems!

Thomas came out to install our water filtration system and did an exceptional job. He was very thorough and treated our home with great care, as if it were his own. He cleaned up completely after the installation and took the time to clearly explain how the system works. Highly professional service — we really appreciate the attention to detail.

Stephanie, the office manager, is absolutely amazing! She made the entire process smooth and stress-free with her professionalism, organization, and clear communication.
