Craig was excellent! We called about an electrical issue in our washroom and in about 5 minutes he was able to tell us exactly what was happening and how to fix it. He is now our go to electrician!! Couldn’t be happier with the quality of service and efficiency. Thank you.

I always appreciate the professional service this company offers. They always call ahead to let you know they are arriving soon. Travis was courteous, professional and offered advice on my air conditioner. I trust that when I utilize their service I am getting 100% satisfaction. I actually called to book another service for plumbing so thankyou to this company for its convenience and consistency.

First, I'll say that the techs who are employed at Thompson & Thompson are nice people who were very polite to me, so none of this is really their fault. I believe the issue is on a corporate level. I experienced a pipe blockage and was told by a tech that it was an emergency that required me calling the city. I waited for the city to come out; they showed up at 2:00 AM and it wasn't clear what the issue was or what they did, but the problem persisted. I called Thompson & Thompson again and they came out again, this time to charge me $1,300 to jet out the blockage. The tech informed me that I would need a $24,000 full sewer line replacement. He claimed he was able to talk the people at the office down to $19,000 and tried to get me to sign up for a payment plan for this immediately with a 9% interest rate for 120 months– absolutely insane. My other option was a $5,400 section replacement. I called a few other plumbers and had another company come out. They ran their camera through the pipes and discovered absolutely nothing that would require a line replacement. They were actually horrified that I was told I would urgently need to pay $20,000 for something that was a total non-issue. They were also very confused at why I'd been told to call the city out– that explains why the city wasn't able to clearly explain to me what the issue was, because there wasn't one. This is a tactic that bigger plumbing companies use, unfortunately– telling homeowners that something is an emergency when it's not at all. Ask to see ALL of the camera footage and always get a quote from multiple plumbers before agreeing to any large plumbing job, because these companies make money off of manufactured urgency, manipulating and scaring their customers. I would absolutely not recommend Thompson & Thompson to anyone.

We need our pool pump fixed. I set an appointment for between 8am and noon which is fine. They texted me that my electrician was headed out and will be there within forty minutes. Went home from work twenty minutes later and waited for them. After forty five minutes I called and the girl told me she couldn't give me an ETA and would have someone call me back. After 90 miniutes I called to cancel. They clearly don't respect the time of others. If I werent there when he showed up they would have charged me. But are okay with making me miss 90 minutes of work for nothing. I would not recommend this company. Find someone who will respect your time.

I do believe that Thompson and Thompson delivers great service but they are a little pricey. I was quoted around $1000 to install a new kitchen sink and faucet. I already had purchased the kitchen sink and faucet.…they were just going to install it. I thought this was outrageously high. When I told them that was high, they did lower it to $800 and something but even so that is still way too much to install a kitchen sink and faucet. Our local plumber that we have been using for years is able to do it for much less.
