Absolutely, would recommend Star City Plumbing again and again. Wish I knew about them a long time ago. I was referred to Star City by my next door neighbor who told me he had been using them for years. Best decision I ever made. We have been having an ongoing issue for several months now. From start to finish they were a pleasure to do business with. Travis, and his son did an excellent job and found the source of our big problem. Also, we had called multiple plumbers for estimates and Star City by far had the most affordable estimate and did such an amazing job. Even cleanup was above and beyond. Thank you so much Darin and team!

I cannot say enough good about Star City, their technicians, their craftsmanship, customer service and their prices. We have used them a half dozen times in the past several months and have been extremely pleased. They are very punctual and show up when they say they are. We have always used Matt, Brock or Isaiah and request them when we have work done. These guys are exceptional and go above and beyond to assure you are satisfied. Anytime I have called, Matt has been quick to respond for leaks, estimates, scheduling ect and is very thorough at explaining what needs to be done and why and in the event something unforeseen crops up he consults with you and resolves the issue. You will be doing yourself a disservice if you do not call these guys when you have plumbing needs. I don’t often take the time to give reviews but these guys deserve a positive review. Brandon and Ryan came to my home to do a plumbing job for me. Top notch service all the way. They did a wonderful job with the installation and left the place looking like no one had been working there. Spotless! Great couple of guys. Super polite and very knowledgeable. I would recommend this dynamic duo to all my friends.

TLDR - Response time, follow-up, and communication have been disappointing. Our experience is significantly worse than the other reviews here - wondering if it's b/c we need low margin/labor-only work done and are being pushed/ignored. Timeline of my experience with Start City Plumbing: 12/17 - I saw positive reviews and wanted to use a locally owned business, so I submitted a request for a free estimate to install a well pressure tank. 12/18 - Email from SCP requesting service address. I responded w/ my address and let them know I already had the tank and tee assembly. Same day response saying they "will get this put in" (Provided no info on when I could expect a contact) 12/18 - 1/6 - 19 days w/ zero contact. Holidays and not urgent work...so wanted to give them a pass 1/6 - I reached back out, asking when someone would be contacting me to schedule an estimate. A same-day response that they will "check with their supervisor and get back to me". 1/7 - I let them know we were experiencing some other plumbing issues (what we believed to be a trap / venting issue) and were hoping to get estimates for both pieces of work. The same day, two people stop by to provide an estimate. They we friendly and patient in explaining what could be causing the 2nd problem, which we have a little more urgency around since it's limiting which showers we can use. They provided what I thought was a fair estimate for the work and said someone would be in contact. 1/14 - A full week later - still no estimate or follow-up communication.

Star City Plumbing contracted thru VDOT for recent snow/ice removal in my area. It was a difficult time no doubt for all contracted providers due to the unprecedented ice accumulation. After the storm had passed myself and another neighbor realized that our vehicles were blocked in by a couple feet of ice from the plow. When I reached out to this company they sent out a crew to clear out the wall of solid Ice by hand. I realize this isn't a plumbing review but it is a 5 star review for companies ethics.
