Hit this company up because it had some of the best reviews for plumbers on Yelp. I had a simple clogged drain and he said it would be $120 to clear. I figured it would be no problem... about 5 minutes into being there he took off the top part and pull out some hair, but he said that wasn't the problem. He said it was under the part that catches the hair & that he 'couldn't snake it because of how the drain is set up' I'm thinking , well if I'm paying you can you try something else? And he kept telling me 'they're gonna have to cut into the floor and clear it out, it'll be a couple grand with some companies but my company can do it for cheap. Give me your landlords info or you can give them mine and we can set up and appointment' and kept pushing for me to have my landlord hire him for this job.. Then told me 'it'll still be $120 for the drain, your landlord HAS to reimburse you for that' but they don't and they didn't . The next day he texted me asking if I gave my landlord his info, or if I wanted to him to call them. So I had a different plumbing company, who I will not name, come to my house, and they said it was a 'simple fix' and cleared my drain in about 10 minutes. No 'cutting into the floor' or 'thousands of dollars' of work. They even gave me a small discount because I told them about my experience with this company! So to summarize my review, he was pushy, made me pay for something he didn't do, and overall felt like he was a salesman than a plumber. It's all good though, cause now my tub is unclogged NO THANKS to this company! EDIT: Thanks for your message, as well as the reply on my review! Just a FLAKE!!! Thinks people are just fools. Never called, to tell me he can not make it. Only sent a text after a serious message. Do not waste your time.

I have no reason to believe he does not do good work. I have every reason to believe he engages in a ridiculous level of price gouging. My sick elderly father was getting out of the hospital and his water heater was not working. Sergio came by and babbled some horseshit about how he didn't know what the problem was and he COULD order $700 or $800 worth of parts but it still might not work and then you can't return the parts. He suggested to just replace the 40 gallon water heater. I don't live in the same city as my father and had, coincidentally, just gotten out of the hospital with 6 broken bones from an accident. Sergio said it would cost $2400 to replace. Because my father (and his roommate who was home) didn't have a working water heater i agreed to this charge. I asked for an itemized receipt to see how much these different parts cost but he vehemently refuses to give an itemized receipt and he also says (i have direct quotes from him via text) that he does not charge an hourly rate either- he charges by the job. In other words- he tries to assess how desperate people are to get their plumbing fixed then slides an insane price right out of his ass. I asked a contractor friend who works on multimillion dollar houses in LA how much it should cost and he said about a grand. I asked a plumber here in LA that i know how much and he said max 1400 and that 2400 was INSANE. Because my father is sick and was just getting out of the hospital and does not have much money i asked if he would take 700 for labor (it took him 45 minutes according to my father's roommate). 700 for the 45 min is still INSANE. Do YOU make that much money?? He refused to take it and said he would go to my father's house and take back the water heater (his purgative). So i had to pay the whole amount which, admittedly, i did agree to. That's ONE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS for 45 minutes work. If you think that's even remotely reasonably i suggest you hire Sergio to do your work. I'm sure he'll do a good job.

Sergio came to my home about 40 minutes after I called. He had a job near by and came over right after. However, over the telephone he told me his thoughts about my leak in my downstairs ceiling. He said it would be cheaper to inspect it myself first then if I could not find it to call back. I could tell by the way he spoke he was a no BS just the facts type of guy. I still could not find the leak so I called him back. He came over promptly and turned on the shower. He said the shower head was clogged and that was causing a drip on the bathtub faucet. The faucet was not caulked correctly since we bought the home new. We went downstairs to look and sure enough water was dripping. No pipe damage. No drain damage. Just a seep through the faucet housing to wall which was not caulked correctly. I cannot believe a guy like this would ever steer anyone wrong. Those one star reviews are unfair and I kindly advise those who do so to do so judiciously. We all have families and we all need to make a living. Plus it is just a matter of pride to not have ill thoughts by others. Now I have a hole in my ceiling which can be easily fixed. He did not charge for this visual inspection because he was nearby and because I cut the access area. However I know most plumbers would charge a fee just for knocking on the door. A person cannot stay in business and doing all things for free so if he has to drive 30 minutes to one house expect a charge. I will use Sergio the next time I need a plumber without hesitation. Call him if you want a true professional opinion based on experience.

My husband was skeptical, but Sergio stood by his expertise so firmly that he was willing to back it up--promising to return if anything came up. That kind of confidence and accountability is rare. Then came the part that truly impressed me--when I asked about the cost, he told me there was no charge. I couldn't believe it. It's not just his skill that stands out--it's his integrity, fairness, and the way he treats people. In a time where that can feel hard to come by, Sergio is a reminder that true professionalism still exists. If you're looking for someone dependable, straightforward, and exceptionally good at what they do, Sergio is the one to call. Don't think twice--you'll be in great hands.

In 2018 we had a new Whirlpool water heater installed. Oct of 2020 the burner went out and we called Sergio's Plumbing and they instructed us to contact Whirlpool to request a new burner and call them back as soon as we receive it. The part came in and we called them back. We have been dealing with plumbers for decades now and decided to walk our dogs while we wait. Our walks are about 20 minutes and we have never had an experience with a plumber that comes out in less than an hour. In the short time we were gone they had come out to the house. WOW. Talk about speedy service. We called and apologized and they were very understanding. They returned within minutes. Not only did they provide fast service, they were also very informative on how we should handle Whirlpool and were professional and extremely affordable. I wish I had submitted a review at that time. It's Oct 2021 and once again the burner has gone out. Without hesitation we once again called Sergio's Plumbing and received the same outstanding service. It is our greatest hope that they are able to stay in business for many many years to come. We will never purchase a Whirlpool product ever again.

Amazing service! Sergio came to my rescue. I was puzzled why my water bill doubled in one month. I suspected a leak and I inquired if he can look into this matter. He offered a free inspection to find the cause of my leak. Voilá! Within minutes of inspecting my home inside and out, he found the culprit pipe. He made sure and re-read the water meter and suggested to me what should be done to fix the matter. He gave me an estimate cost prior to repair and he immediately fixed the situation along with his employee. I'm super pleased with the service. He came the same day because I was worried to waste anymore water. Sergio was super professional. I highly recommend his servie. I also love to support the local business in the area. He was in fact recommended by another competitor since they couldn't provide service the same day. I lucked out. Sergio came to my rescue. I would absolutely hire him for future plumbing projects. Had a clog on the kitchen sink and called Sergio, based on great yelp reviews here! Price is reasonable, paid 90$ to clear the clog on the sink. He has the right tool for the job. Done in under 5mins. He arrives earlier as what we have agreed on, but I don't mind since I am home anyways. Took a star, for ease of contacting him. I don't blame him, he is a busy guy. He has a landline, that there are several times he fail to answer and when you leave a message, he forgets to call you back. Not a big deal but needs improvement on this part. Communication is the key! Some customers can lose patience and cannot wait for a call back, they can look for other competitors out there. Other than that, he is great! Will recommend to friends and family! Local business versus commercial that makes a huge difference! Thank you Sergio!

Sergio did an amazing job. My husband and I bought our first home about a month ago and mentally we definitely weren't prepared with finding out that with our new home, the gas line had been capped. To start Sergio was always very responsive, prompt and thorough with his work. Not to mention his counterpart Danny as well. Such nice and honest guys and I would recommend them to anybody. When all the work was done Sergio installed a new gas line going from the kitchen through the attic so that I could have a gas stove that I've always wanted. They competed the job in 1 day and made accommodations so that the job was done efficiently and fast. Sergio is a great guy and I'll definitely be keeping his number in my list of go to people. Thanks Sergio and Danny for everything! Oh! And for the shrimp burrito as well.

I used to use ABC Drain, but they were sold and the new owners I found to be not all that professional. So, I called Sergio last night because the main sewer line from our house was clogged and the downstairs toilet was backing up. I also called 2 other companies. I never heard from the other two, but Sergio called me back right away (around 7:30 pm) and said he could come out the next AM, and provided me with a verbal estimate. This AM, he showed up on time, and was really friendly, professional, and super efficient. He cleared our drain for less than the quoted price, and did it quickly. Yay! I will be calling Sergio in the future for all our plumbing needs, not just a clogged drain. He made a really good impression and I highly recommend him for a great local plumber.

I am a proud resident of American Canyon since 2011. My garbage disposal reached its useful life yesterday. Today I did a search online for plumbers and Sergio's name showed up first with great reviews on Yelp, enough to make me call him around noon. I left a message and Sergio called me within the hour and made an appointment for 2 pm. I told him about the garbage disposal to buy. He showed up with his associate and replaced the garbage disposal promptly. He gave me great advice on the product and how to use it properly. He even gave me a recommendation for a painter. Great guy, jovial personality, hard worker and will charge you a reasonable price for his expertise. I will definitely be calling Sergio back for any plumbing needs. THANK YOU, Sergio.

I am pretty handy but there are lots of things I don't know (transmissions, calculus, Finish, the list goes on) including plumbing. I need an honest advisor in those situations, someone who will help me and not take advantage of my obvious ignorance. Sergio is that guy. He is knowledgeable, honest, reliable, helpful, kind, and just a cool guy. He showed up on short notice, told me what I could do on my own (and told me how) and was very reasonable for the things I couldn't do myself. I'm happy to have found him.
