Great punctuality, communication, and prioritization of quality materials. Does not take your money for granted, fully reasonable prices, with great work. Scott came to turn off our water line for a new countertop and sink Install, and came back super quick to reconnect everything. Even went back out to get an excellent sink drain.

Highly recommended! Scott is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. His pricing is reasonable, he's quick to respond, honest, and on time. He did a great job and backs his work. All around, 5 stars!

I called them to schedule work at two different houses, one of which we are in the process of selling. I called and left a message on Friday but my call was never returned. My husband called and left them another message on Monday and still no response. I also called them yet again and left them yet another message and still NO RESPONSE!!! I guess they don't need our business !!! I will never use them or recommend them to anyone!!!

I was in need of a plumber to repair an outside faucet. I turned to the community groups on Facebook looking for recommendations. Wanted to avoid the large companies as have had bad experiences in the past. In the Bartlett community group 3 people recommended Scott. I e mailed him explaining what I need done. He responded back quickly with an answer and a apology that he could not get to it until tomorrow. When Scott arrived to start the work he realized it was something out of the ordinary and instead of saying that he couldn't or didn't want to do it, he explained the options to me. Once a decision was made Scott said it would take a second trip out to finish the job and he was very apologetic about not being able to finish it in one day even though it was not his fault but the fault of a previous contractor. Scott arrived the following day to complete the job. He explained that because the work involved was more detailed the fee would be more then quoted, once again apologizing even thought he had nothing to do with the initial screw up. I highly recommend Scott to anyone looking for a professional to plumber and person. Scott has earned all my future plumbing business.

Scott Marhofke Plumbing (Scott) is fantastic. We had a problem with what turned out to be frozen water service pipes to the master bath. Shower wouldn't work and the toilet tank wouldn't fill during the particularly harsh cold we had in the Chicago suburban area Jan. 30-31. We made an appointment with Scott for the following Friday. Fortunately when he arrived the pipes had thawed and even more fortunately they didn't break but Scott spent time with us to show us how to prevent the problem in the future. He also showed us how to check our water meter to verify if we have any water leaks we can't see. It was a perfect scenario with the worst cold we had in 35 years and the wind direction that problem caused our problem. Scott was a Prince. If you have any plumbing issues whatsoever call Scott! He is definitely in our call list for any future plumbing problems we may have and we will recommend him to everyone!

I had to write another review about Marhofke Plumbing because honestly Scott has bailed me out quite a few times. This last go around was because my 5 year old kitchen faucet was just coming unglued. Imagine my surprise when I found out it was because it had been installed improperly. After Scott replaced it, not only did it work well but the ease of how it worked was unbelievable. I had struggled with it all those years and didn't know. Scott of course gave the previous plumber the benefit of the doubt but there was no doubt in my mind. One knows what he's doing and many others do not. So if you are in his Bartlett, Streamwood, Hanover Park area don't even look for anyone else. This is the tradesman you want.

Scott fixed several things around my home. The biggest job was the installation of a hot water heater. He was at my home most of one day to replace the hot water heater and for two other projects that same day. He also came over two other times for other issues. He was on time, he worked quickly, and carefully cleaned up when he was finished. He was very knowledgeable about water heaters, something I cannot say about the big box store employees. He also was able to determine how long each project was going to take. Plus, he worked around my schedule. After he finishes, he's careful to make sure everything is working properly. All this, and his prices were reasonable. He is highly recommended.

I love Scott! He is just the best plumber out there. When I was living alone, I definitely wanted to find a plumber that wasn't going to rip me off and made me feel comfortable. Scott is that plumber. He explains everything he is doing and even gives some tips so I don't have to call him for every little thing wrong. He was soo great I even had him fix the plumbing at my parent's house. Scott is honest and reliable. He is never late and always treats his customers with respect. I can't say enough great things about him. If you are hesitant, just call him. After one phone call, you'll agree that he is definitely the best plumber around the area!

i was looking for a new plumber in my area of Bartlett Illinois that was responsive, professional, on time, respectful of my property and I found it with Scott Marhofke. Being a single woman he was very sensitive to what I was trying to accomplish. Explained everything in terms I could understand not to mention he was extremely fair in his pricing. I did do my research and I felt everyone else was just trying to take advantage. He's simply a good guy. We don't find that often these days. I highly recommend Scott Marhofke Plumbing. We called Scott in the afternoon around 4 and he got back to us really quick. Within 2 hours. We were able to schedule an appt for the next morning. Scott was very punctual, friendly and professional. Although our water problem didn't present itself when Scott was there, he attempted to try to fix the issue. He was also able to fix another minor issue I've been having with my shower water temperature. He charges reasonable and made aware that his hours could be flexible. Scott has provided great service and I would highly recommend him!

Scott recently replaced my leaking water heater and I'm very happy. He's very busy but you don't have to wait long. His prices are very reasonable (call around for quotes, you'll see). He did a very professional job. The next day I noticed a small amount of water in that area, where the furnaces are also located. He came out that night to check it out. Turns out the source was not the water heater he put in but was condensation from a loose pipe coming from the furnace. He secured that for me, problem solved. I highly recommend Scott.

Almost 20 years in Bartlett and have used Scott Marhofke about 8 times over the years-each call was something different. New outside spigot, busted pipe under kitchen sink, leaking gas line pipe in laundry room, all new plumbing for upstairs tub/shower, years ago repair on plumbing of both bathroom sinks after we first moved in. He's always been, fair, honest, doesn't try to take advantage of you, friendly, does what he can to get in to see your issue in an emergency - best, honest plumber ever. This review is June 2021
