Schlueter Plumbing - The No Nonsense Plumber

After having a new water heater installed in mid-January, I recently noticed a natural gas smell from around the water heater. I closed the gas valve at the water heater and called Schlueter Plumbing on a Saturday. They arrived within 2 hours to tightened one of the pipe unions and stopped the leak. There was no charge for the repair since they recently installed the water heater. I greatly appreciate the great service and quick response!

Very prompt both in returning my calls and in coming out to my home. Our guy was very knowledgeable and easygoing. Would totally use Schlueter again. 100% recommend I had an ongoing issue unfortunately. These guys moved heaven and earth to make a same day appointment happen. Truly professional

Our toilet in our master bathroom was leaking. It went through the floor and was leaking to the bathroom on the floor below. I called Schleuter Plumbing and they got a tech out to us same day. Craig was great! He was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He identified the issue and presented me with three options to resolve it. I ended up getting a new toilet. He installed it for me same day and now everything is nice and dry and good as new!

They did show up. The simple problem was fixed. However I was charged excessively for the job. They saw a huge house & tried to take advantage of me. My father was a master contractor. He could have fixed this in less than an hour. I was charged $538. Because I have roommates I felt forced to pay this amount. But I do know I was overcharged. I was told by the plumber it was a flat rate. When I called the company, they said the charge was based on the hours needed, supplies etc. So they gave me two different reasons. Very frustrating. My father would have never treated anyone like this. The water was seen in the basement. The leak was from above the room. It was simple to find. Simple to fix. And because this is an actual plumbing company, they should keep basic supplies on them. Not need to go get them. This was an hour job. By a younger licensed plumber. There is no way possible I should have been charged this amount. I work with contractors on a regular basis. Not to mention I grew up with a contractor father. At most this would be $150 job including supplies. I asked other plumbers & each said I was very much overcharged. Was the pipe made of gold & diamonds? No a regular copper pipe.

They have done few jobs for us, including installing front and back hose faucets outside our house. The front faucet was loose after being installed and they came out and fixed it. The back faucet was tight but failed after 4 years. They replaced the outer faucet "as a courtesy" after I complained, but it, too, was loose. When I called to ask about it being loose, the manager was very defensive and said I should be happy that they replaced it for free. I just want a faucet that isn't loose, because that can damage the pipes. They "fired" me as a customer because I was unhappy. This is unprofessional and not good customer service.

From the first moment I made contact until I made the payment, I was treated with courtesy and respect. I had previously gotten an estimate from another plumber, but Schlueter Plumbing worked with my budget. Ryan & Nick worked quickly, yet thoroughly to find a leak with the Main Water Service. I used Schlueter Plumbing for another issue with a plumbing leak repair under the kitchen sink. Kreig Studer went beyond what was expected in finding the leak and repairing it. He spent time making sure the leak was fixed. Having worked with Kreig before, I continually found him to be knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I appreciate him cleaning up the job site when completed! He even went through my house, as a courtesy, and helped me evaluate the condition of pipes, shutoffs valves & faucets for any future work. Even John, as an assistant, was very eager to learn what Kreig was doing, watched him closely and listened intently as Kreig would explain what he was doing. John immediately went back and forth to the truck or tool pouch to get necessary tools and parts without complaint. Both of these young men are great assets to your company! Sclueter Plumbing did a great job and always had. When I first contacted them, they told me that they were booked and they gave me an appointment for the next day, however, I requested that if they had an opening, please call me and they should come out. I did get the call and they came out. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the plummer's name. When he got here it was chaotic. I showed him to the bathroom that needed immediate assistance. Went over everything, and he was ready to get started. My niece came in and mentioned about an upstairs toilet that was running, and he went her to see it. I told him if he can anything great. If it had to be another day, fine. I told what ever needs to be done and he can do today do it. I told if he needed me, please interupt or tell someone to get me. I went back to the chaos. Next thing, I know is he was finished and explaining what was done what be needed. I thanked him and asked him to hand me the bill and I would give him my card to pay it. I received another important call. I was rude, and took the call, he finished, and I paid. He was great and I was unfortunately rude due to the chaos. They are the first plumbers that I call, and hopefully, they will be willing to still come after this visit.

It all began with Paula at Schlueter Plumbing who answered my desperate call. We urgently needed a plumbing company to come ASAP to fix a matter in our house. Every place we called would not be able to come to the next day which meant we had to keep our water off. Paula at Schlueter, understanding the situation was able to work us into their booked schedule. Within one hour Payne and Ian from Schlueter Plumbing Showed up at our door. They charged a small flat fee to look at the situation, give us a price of what it would cost and apply that fee to the cost. The price was great and very reasonable. Most importantly they were professional, remedied the problem and extremely knowledgeable. Integrity knowledge and caring would be the three top words I would use to describe this company with the bonus that their pricing was incredibly reasonable as well . After getting no promised return calls for over a week from another plumber, I called Schlueter and was scheduled a plumber for 8am the next day. Joe Von Rissen pulled up in my driveway a few minutes before 8. What I needed was a new kitchen faucet. I opted to furnish my own so he advised me as to what to buy and left to do another job while I went to the hardware store. I was afraid that was the last I would see of him for the day but he kept in touch with me and came back as promised later that afternoon. He got the faucet installed so I could get my kitchen together for the first time in over a week. Schlueter is lucky to have a good plumber like Joe and I will definitely call Schlueter the next time I have a plumbing problem.

Chad W. did an excellent job installing our tankless water heater. His attention to detail and dedication to make things right made for a solid experience.update4/16/26 actually Chad make a fairly huge mistake hidden in the ceiling, incorrect pitch caused condensation and our drywall got destroyed. Kreig came out today on standard service of water heater and shocked me with a huge increase in price for this service but with his diligence and call to his manager he was able to find a error to customer benefit. I have updated from 5 star to 4 star but really it’s an increase from 2(chads work) star to 4 star(overall)

Scott came out to diagnose the cause of an upstairs tub/shower leak. Had to cut into the drywall in the kitchen to be able to properly find the issue. He put plastic down and created the minimum amount of damage/mess. Did a great job of showing and explaining the problem and giving multiple estimates for repairs and also for suggested preventative measures while access was opened up. No pressure sales and made sure all my questions were answered. Had multiple estimates in my email before he left. We have a planned renovation that will open up access from another room, so we will be calling Scott back out soon.

Great customer service and technicians are very knowledgeable and communicate well with customer. They charge flat prices quoted on the spot. Unlike other plumbers want to charge per hour. I love how the tech uses tablet to process payments and email your receipt and guarantee their work. Plus they call back next day to make sure everything was taken care of. I've used them several times and recommend them to all my friends and neighbors. They can do big jobs like sewer backup to simple installation of toilets, sinks and faucets. They are my go to plumbers

We noticed a leak last night on Christmas. We are first time homeowners and had no idea what we could be in for. Called first thing this morning and after being told from multiple people it would be days to weeks for someone to come out, Schlueter answered and said they could be here today. Not even two hours later, someone is out here diagnosing our issue, fixing it, and giving us peace of mind again. Didn't make us feel dumb or take us for a ride, just fixed our problem and quickly. We will definitely be customers for life!

Had to have a new hot water heater installed at our rental property. Schlueter made some recommendations and advised us on the size heater that we would need. They drained the old hot water heater, hauled it away, and installed a new one, and brought it up to code. They did an excellent job, cleaned up after themselves, and were professional and friendly. Schlueter is always dependable, reliable, and shows up on time. We have used their services for years!
