I had a hot water tank that was leaking from the bottom of the tank, I contacted Roto-Rooter they sent out their service repairman Joel. He did arrive later than the office rep told me but when he came he was polite and happy. He explained the finance options they offered and informed me of all that was involved in replacing the hot water tank. Any questions I had he answered. Joel completed his work quickly. The price was high but I found Roto-Rooter to be quite comparable to other companies and I was able to use their $50 coupon. Joel provided excellent service and gave me tips on how to maintain my hot water tank to make it last longer. I appreciate that and I'm glad to have hot water now!
Christian was such a great person and help. Oh my gosh did he know his stuff. He was totally respectful to my mother and my dogs. I would recommend him to anyone. He was very knowledgeable. He cleaned up completely afterwards and didn't leave anything behind. We really appreciate his work. Thank you.
Aaron Linley provided outstanding service while completing our water heater installation, toilet flange repair, and tub & shower faucet replacement. He was punctual, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He took the time to clearly explain the problems we were experiencing and completed the repairs quickly and safely. Aaron paid close attention to detail, thoroughly checked his work, and made sure everything was functioning properly before leaving. It’s rare to find someone so committed to doing the job right. I highly recommend Aaron for his professionalism, expertise, and quality workmanship.
I hired Roto Rooter on May 12, 2026, to address a sewer blockage that had resulted in a minor wastewater backup into my laundry room. To access the line, the technician removed and reset my basement toilet and performed drain snaking services. The total cost exceeded $700. During the visit, I was advised that a camera inspection would be recommended but was not performed. I was left with the understanding that the blockage had been addressed. Within approximately 24 hours of the service, the same toilet that had been removed and reset began experiencing issues that were not present before the visit. The toilet began losing bowl water and developed flushing problems. When I contacted Roto Rooter regarding these concerns, I was informed that I would need to pay additional charges for them to return, remove and reset the toilet again, and perform further work. Unwilling to incur additional expenses for issues that arose immediately following the original service, I sought an independent evaluation from another licensed plumbing contractor. On May 31, 2026, the sewer line was professionally scoped and recorded. Based on the findings, I was advised that the drain cleaning performed by Roto Rooter was inadequate and failed to properly clear the line. The video evidence showed significant remaining root intrusion and obstruction within the sewer pipe. The contractor specifically recommended that I contact Roto Rooter regarding the quality of the work performed. I paid more than $700 for a service that did not resolve the underlying problem and was then asked to pay additional fees when issues arose immediately afterward. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Roto Rooter and will not be using their services again. Upon discussion with management, I was told that “the line was cleared as per our plumber and there’s nothing more we can do”.
There is a water leakage in the basement from the fridge are in the first floor. The guy came without a snake camera. He insisted he had to cut a opening in the drywall (which cost $337 & he won't restore the drywall). After cut the first opening, he said he still can't identify the cause so he needs to cut a 2nd opening. I refused. Later found another plumber, with a snake camera & without even use the opening he cut, it was fixed. Now I have a hole in the wall! It's very hard to believe for this kind of price ($337 to cut open a piece of drywall) the guy is not even equipped with a snake camera. It's also very hard to believe that Roto-Rooter plumber is so unprofessional. Me and all my friends certainly will not use their service in the future.
