Outstanding service, support, and attention to detail from Quan and Eric. This was a massive undertaking and they handled the situation with the utmost skill and professionalism. I’m grateful for their efforts and expertise - A+ across the board.

It was already beginning to rain but my sump pump and piping to the street needed repair. Adam arrived and spent many hours replacing my sump pump and cleaning out the drainage pipe! Great job! I thank Roto Rooter and my neighbors thank them!

Had a great experience with the Roto-Rooter crew after today’s call. They were professional, responsive, and very clear in explaining the issue and next steps. Communication was excellent, and I appreciated how efficient and respectful they were of my time. It’s reassuring to work with a team that knows what they’re doing and follows through. Highly recommend.

It was an awful experience. Had them inspect a water tank leak. He knew what was wrong, but pretended he did not and started to criticize everything you could think of. He talked for about 30 minutes about how everything had been done wrong and was just really letting me know how stupid I was for hiring the guy who had installed my water tank. Started to talk about how I might need to get a new water tank and a new furnace when it was only 5 years old, and redo everything like re-plumb and replace everything. Went on and on about this needing to be fixed and that needing to be fixed, and pretended he couldn't tell how many gallons of water the tank held. He spent a few hours wasting my time away from work, just to empty out the entire water tank and fix absolutely nothing. I ended up having to miss work that day altogether. He told me he can now fix it after the tank is empty, but it will cost a lot of money. Made the entire situation sound much worse than it was, when it was a simple fix, while trying to charge me more than it was, which he had already done for just showing up and emptying my water tank, fixing nothing. I let him go and said I needed to think about the quote since it was very high. Additionally, the quote kept changing throughout his criticism of the water tank, the plumbing, and various other aspects. He started to say things to scare me about the kind of damage, and he might not be able to come back later if I changed my mind about having him fix the leak. About how I will not have hot water to shower if I don't make a decision now. Almost a threat to get a little lady homeowner to spend so much money on a fix that was not what he said. I think he purposely emptied the water tank to get ready to "replace" the tank that did not need to be replaced. I discovered all of that when I found someone else to come look, and it took 10 minutes and was free. The reviews about Roto-Rooter were true, in that they overcharge and upsell more than necessary, except that the reviews also missed how they create issues that do not exist. Stay away from this one. Incredibly dishonest business. Forced to give one star, but wish it could be a negative 5 stars.

Well I see I have a "PC" response so I will reply back but I doubt I will get one folks. Its the way for companies to make them look like they are doing some good. Hello I seriously doubt you can do anything about this but I will give it a try. As to why I doubt you will do anything is after several phone calls to various departments in which I left a message too and not getting any response and 2 letters I have no hope as to any action being done for this. I will however make sure others do not fall prey to your service charges. I would give me more information but I just think you post this "PC" response to make your company look good. So I will see if you actually respond to this email and maybe we can go further but if not I can and will continue to make sure others do not fall victim to your over charges (What I mean is your Labor charges)

Roto-Rooter was able to get someone to the house within an hour which was great. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience wasn't as good. When I made the appointment I was told there were no flat rate fees for clearing a drain. After looking at the standing water in the shower drain Noah told me that it was a flat rate of $405 to clear the drain, no matter how long it took "whether it was 5mins or a few hours." He also said that the work would be warranted for six months. My husband had tried to clear the drain the night before with an electric 25ft. snake which we told Noah. After about 15 minutes he told us that it might cost more due to the difficulty. After I reminded him of the flat rate he asked if I wanted him to try again which I did. After awhile he came down and let me know that his line had been ruined and that I could have him try some more or have another technician come to use a camera or open walls. I had him try some more. Eventually, he was able to break thru the clog, but said it didn't feel right so he wouldn't warranty the work as he previously promised. We will not be using Roto-Rooter again.

Scam and horrible service. Never use this company. They removed my toilet to clear a clogged line and did not reinstall it correctly. Did not replace the original sealant around the toilet base and did not install the wax ring correctly, causing the toilet to leak over time when flushed. When I called them back, they claimed no warranty/guarantee and blamed the issue on root invasion. When they scoped our sewage line, they did not find any root invasion. Rather the clog was due to old cast iron pipes. They asked for $400 to replace the wax, that they removed and did not replace when I paid for the original job. Most other plumbers only charge $100-150 for this job. Technician was hostile and aggressive - asked me to speak to a manager who did not pick up the phone for over an hour. Do your homework and get a quote before looking into their services. They will scam you the whole way and try to upcharge you on other services.

Not responsible and very expensive! $800 charge for one bathroom, invoice # 515-24873107. Worked less than an hour. Didn't fix it: tenants said the pipe plugged again in the bathtub two days later. In the same bathroom. Didn't want to fix the problem. Wanted to charge one more time for the same issue. The high price the plumber explained by 6 months warranty, but didn't mention it in the invoice. The plumber promised to send me the invoice and photos and forgot to do that, didn't reply to my calls. The dispatcher said later they didn't give warranties. All together about 1.5 hours of discussions after which they eventually fixed the problem in 5 minutes! 5-6 times spoke to different plumbers/dispatchers/managers explaining the problem. I'm very disappointed with this service! My opinion: very bad!

Water had leaked in the bathroom, under tile and out into the hallway soaking the carpet. I remembered Roto rooter, humming the iconic Roto rooter song as I called them. They arrived promptly and said it was the toilet and replaced the seal and charged 434.00... Half an hour goes by and I call Roto rooter back because the water is still coming. The same plumber comes back and says it will dry up. When I suggest maybe it's something else, he says "well you have warranty on the toilet" I had to call another plumbing company out who cut into the wall and discovered it was my neighbors water line leaking into our bathroom. Roto rooter came out and charged me 434.00 to fix something that didn't need to be fixed. I feel like I was robbed by an old friend that I've known my whole life.

Andrew was great and incredibly helpful! We had another plumber come out about two weeks ago and paid a pretty significant amount to fix a toilet clog. While they temporarily cleared it, they didn’t really do the due diligence to figure out what was actually causing the issue. They removed the toilet but never ran a cable or camera to confirm the pipe was fully clear. Sure enough, today the toilet clogged again. Andrew came in, properly assessed the situation, ran the auger and cable, and then used a camera to confirm everything was completely cleared out and flowing properly. Really appreciated the thoroughness, professionalism, and transparency throughout the process. Thank you again to Andrew and the crew!

This business is a scam. They arrive quickly, which is great, but when they arrive they give ridiculous fees for work that don't make any sense. We have a toilet with a week flush that has some hard water, he says $350 to clean the water. Surprised about the price, I said oh wow, ok, so what does that process entail? He says "well I can't tell you because then you can go and do it yourself, we don't give free advice". Um, ok, I can get that on internet? Interesting business strategy. The sink was a bit clogged, he quotes $450 to snake it. Shows me some dummy sheet with randomly assigned prices. No thanks, scammy company doing bad business, stay away!

Don't use this company!!! We called them because the shower was draining slow. The arrived in a timely manner and tried to snake the drain. Said that they needed to remove the toilet to access the drain better. After removing the toilet and running the rooter through, the service tech said it was fixed. We didn't use the shower for a day. The next time we did the shower didn't drain and the other bathroom started backing up. Called them again to say the messed up the plumbing to the entire house and they came back with sorry but for $3400 they could fix it....again. DONT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

When I called, I asked for pricing for a clogged kitchen sink. I was told they had to see it to advise me. When theb plumbers got here, they gave a glance and said over 500 dillars. Then I said that was high, they said it was standard. Why wasn't I told that on my initial inquiry? Then there were problems, much work. 4 hours later and the cost was over 1,200. I had to okay the cost, but what else could I do? Leave the sink unusable? After they left I had to wash the floor 4 times. But the worst thing is that the sink still does not drain properly.

I’m a first time customer of Roto Rooter from Lakewood. I m impressed with their service team! Gabriel and Steven are great! Gabriel is very experienced and knew the problem from looking into what’s going on in the house. He resolved the issue right away by using his clog clearing machine. He’s efficient. Steven made it all clear to us and made us understand the problem with the use of the camera and what to do next. He also assisted us with our water shut off valve and arrange a staff to do the fixing. It’s a great experience!
