Roto-Rooter will never see our business again! My fiancé is currently deployed overseas, and I found myself dealing with leaks in the bathroom alone. After contacting Roto-Rooter on 8/10/24, they sent two men to my home the next day. One was polite (Isaiah), but the other acted more like a pushy used car salesman. He assured me that my insurance would cover the repairs and even pressured me to sit down right then to submit the claim. I trusted that the claim was submitted, as he insisted, but it wasn’t. The leak destroyed my floors, and their demo team came out to remove them. The salesman promised I would still have a functioning bathroom and could stay in my home during repairs. The demo team, however, told me the opposite—that I couldn’t live there until everything was put back together. Little did I know it would take over 2.5 months to finish this nightmare. I was repeatedly lied to and disregarded. Roto-Rooter scheduled repairs multiple times, but they never showed. When I called the dispatcher, they said I was never scheduled in the first place, even though I had taken several days off from work to accommodate them. The lack of respect for my time and situation was outrageous! To make matters worse, I found out my insurance company had never received the claim, despite the salesman’s assurances. After weeks of trying to reach him, my insurance agent finally took the claim over the phone, which took several hours of my time. While the demo guys were kind, they damaged the toilet in my secondary bathroom during removal. Roto-Rooter had the nerve to charge me $995 to fix their mistake! It felt like they were taking advantage of me, knowing I was alone while my fiancé is deployed. Roto-Rooter showed a complete lack of professionalism and care for my situation. They won’t be getting a second chance. .

I needed a drainage issue in my basement diagnosed. The technician was on time, knowledgeable and explained the issues. His work was priced fairly. Everyone I spoke with was friendly and understood the joys and challenges of maintaining an aprox. century old house.
