Steven did an outstanding job clearing a very stubborn kitchen sewer blockage. He showed up on time, diagnosed the issue quickly, and explained everything clearly before getting to work. What really stood out was his persistence—this wasn’t an easy clog, but he stayed with it until the line was fully cleared and flowing perfectly again. His professionalism, skill, and respect for my home were top‑notch. If you need a plumber who knows what he’s doing and takes pride in doing the job right, Steven is the one to call. Highly recommended.
Roto-Rooter was great! We had a bit of an emergency and they were here within an hour on a Saturday night. Mason was very knowledgeable and handled everything efficiently and professionally. They will be our choice anytime we have a plumbing issue.
Called for an emergency issue and crazy enough Steven can out to help. I’ve worked with him before at another location and was more than pleased with the service he provided. They were able to come out and resolve our issue quickly (1-1.5hrs) and they even sent out a camera technician to verify the issue was resolved and to give an inspection of the plumbing system all included. If you find yourself in a plumbing emergency give them a call.
This is my personal feeling and opinion. They may have good skill plumber, but my feeling is not friendly attitude for customer. Feeling would be they unilaterally impose their own ideas and methods and aggressive It seems they lack services and approaches that are tailored to the customer's needs. I paid everything before their work done, but they have not done. When we found the hot water line leak underneath the house, they took care of it immediately. After it needed to be installed drain to out our house, they are good job, but they asked us to pay for this before work is done. I was OK with the payment before they finished, but they did not say when the excavator people come, he said maybe this afternoon or tomorrow morning. Excavators came in next morning and worked to install the drain, but they did not finish the job, and we got complaints from neighborhood. Here is the picture they done. After they work done, they notice they should work more correctly, and they contacted us. On Friday, 12/19/25. 11:39 am. we had a phone call and conversation with plumber that he worked our hot water leak, and at that time he said excavator people come Saturday, but he did not mention what time, and he said he will find out what time they come in Saturday. But I have not received the update about what time excavator people come in Saturday. On Saturday, 12/20/25. 8:47 am. He called me and excavator people will be there, but we were not home because he did not update what time excavate people came on Saturday. Plumber said we will come Tuesday, Not Monday. We have nothing to do to fix or figure it out for our possible leak more than 1,696 gallons...that we received the Irregular water usage from City...

Use anyone else other than this completely rip off company. Not only do they outright lie, they charge far too much for an easy job I could have done myself. My house is close to 7 years old and never had any issues until suddenly our drainage stopped. No toilet would flush. Tried using a snake and even removed the toilet as we thought a toddler had put something down in the drain. Nothing. Called for service and they came out. Just to flush the line with their snake was $399 after a discount. That only took about 15 minutes. They put a camera down into the sewer line and said there was a broken pipe. Said the line was 4 feet deep and they had a way to go in and repair it without digging up the yard. Cost was $3,000. What choice do I have. I'm old and can't really dig down 4 feet. Or at least didn't want to so we agreed. Guy came out to do the work the following morning. Suddenly he is driving away. Salesman calls and said there was some sort of data line and they would have to dig it out and do the repair. The cost is now $4900 but would only charge $3200. That changed to $3000. Said they would bring in digging equipment and blah, blah, blah. He said they would be out first thing in the morning two days later. They didn't show until right at 5pm. They only used shovels and we found it wasn't a data line, but the sprinkler pipe. It had been broken even before we moved in and miraculously lasted all this time. But the pip was barely 2 feet deep. No digging equipment was used after he made it sound like this grand undertaking that was necessary. I sent the guy a text and asked him if his price was anywhere close to fair and he said yes. I stated 3 guys who used about $30 worth of parts and were here and gone within 1 hour 45 minutes was really worth 3 grand. He said the cost going to an emergency room wasn't fair, but he had to pay. He was turning into a real jerk. They lied about the depth and when they didn't even have to dig as far as he stated, cutting their time by a massive amount you would think they would discount their already outrageous price. He said he was coming out to put a camera in the line to make sure it was done properly. After my questioning he never showed. He turned out to be a worthless piece of garbage liar. I never mind paying a fair price for service. I hate snakes who use the situation to get as much as they can. He was one of those snakes and the company he represents don't appear to be much better. Told the person on the phone and rather than do something about it, just said file a review on their site. You can't! NEVER, ever use them. Wait until a reputable plumber can get there. They are overpriced thieves in my opinion.
started as an electric water heater (6 yrs old) making a noise. when they left I called them back re: a leak in the wall. ended up a pipe under the master bathroom with water shooting up into the closet, bathroom, around vanity and into dining room. we went 2 days with the water shut off to the house. they came to repair. trenched out hole under the bathroom and fixed the pipe with the small hole in it. quoted price and set me up with financing with no interest. I had to digitally sign several times for the water clean up. the invoice I was given the plumber said he was leaving out the water restoration costs but my insurance would know and it was included in the financing. I started getting calls from restoration companies in NY, CA, San Antonio TX and Ohio. I didn't sign a thing with any of them and the company in Ohio is telling me I signed with them using a digital signature and it's the cost of my deductible. they have taken my digital signature with a local company and sold it or something to these frauds for payment. I had zero work done by any of them nor did I sign anything with them. I have the total costs financed and made my 1st payment. PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM. THEY ARE NOT TOTALLY FORTHCOMING AND SOMETHING WEIRD IS GOING ON. I will NEVER use them again and I will 100% not recommend them to anyone. I had used them a few months prior to clean out the pipes from the house to the city. I also was conned into a filter on my hot water tank. which was also said that he was leaving it off the bill but was included. because I asked him about the warranty. they took more dirt from the tunnel they made under the house than what they put back. they said they fill the hole with water then put enough dirt in to complete the fill. and that the dirt will expand over time. no it's going to settle and the dirt is gone to fill it up with. all the plumber, liaison , and the water restoration guy abandoned us when these 3rd parties got involved. the third parties have been nothing but nasty. I don't owe some lady living in Ohio anything. I asked them to cease and desist. but it's still going on.
We contacted Roto-Rooter because our washing machine was causing water to backup into a wall. We shared we had just bought a house and believed the problem was the washing machine pipe had a 2 inch output whereas the wall drain was 1.5 inch. They sent a "drain technician" to the house who said he didn't think that was the problem and said the line just needed to be cleaned. He snaked the line and sold us a cleaning solution. Total cost was over $500. Right away, as soon as we did a load of laundry, the same thing happened. The pipe does drain water - it always drained water - but cannot handle the output of the washing machine. We contacted Roto-Rooter to convey the situation. They said the line cleaning was warrantied for 6 months and they would send a technician to clean it again. After some back and forth, they agreed that a dirty line was likely not the problem and said they would send an actual plumber who would be qualified to fix the problem. I was not aware the first employee was not qualified to do plumbing work and, since we conveyed what we thought was wrong from the onset, I'm not sure why an unqualified technician was ever sent. The problem is Roto-Rooter completed unnecessary work. While they will now send an actual plumber, they said the repair will be completely separate and we will have to pay again. I asked if they would apply the funds from the unnecessary work and they said no--since there is no way to prove there wasn't some level of clog as well. We will be using another company for the repair as we obviously have no confidence in Roto-Rooter, and there is no reason to use them since they will treat it as a completely different charge. We are now in the same situation we were in at the start--except we are over $500 in the hole. Save yourself from our mistake, call someone else.
My kitchen drain was slow, I searched internet and found Roto Rooter with good reviews, so submitted a request online. A technician called Eric came to my house yesterday afternoon, not only he made problem worse but also created new issues and left us with all the mess. The sink is now completely clogged with new leaking at three different places. He broke my under sink pipes and waste disposal connections yesterday, asked me to change to new pipes and a new waste disposal, we agreed. So he came back today and installed the new pipes and waste disposal. We tried to test it after he completed the work, he said no need to test. We insisted to test it and the pipe connections started to leak within two minutes. First he tried to find an excuse but then committed it was an issue, he tried to fix the issue without success so decided to leave it as is. We paid him 50% yesterday and agreed to pay another 50% after completing the work, but with all these issues we decided not to pay the rest 50%, he threatened us to call collecting company to get the money. We called their customer service but they would not come until tomorrow knowing our kitchen sink is completely out of order because of their work. This is the WORST experience we've ever had.
Update : In October 2022, I had a shower valve replaced and it cost approximately $750. On May 11, 2023 (after days of calling to try and get someone out to my house) - Roto-Rooter came out to replace the shower valve cartridge in the same bathroom; however, immediately we noticed that when the hot water was turned on, there was a loud noise, so today (5/23/23) Roto-Rooter came out again and told me that in order to fix the problem they would have to rip out the tile (which they would not be able to replace) and then it would cost $1,500 for parts and labor. I asked the plumber (the same plumber that did the original work in October 2022) why he didn't tell me this option back then and he said that we got a free cartridge on May 11, 2023. This was an incredibly rude response and shows that he does not care about the customer at all. Overall, I am extremely disappointed in this company and will never use Roto-Rooter again and will make sure everyone in our neighborhood knows about the awful customer service I experienced.
Last night around 6 PM, a pipe burst under our kitchen sink. We called Roto-Rooter, and they assured us someone would be out as soon as possible. Ken, the water damage field supervisor, showed up quickly, assessed the issue, and thankfully confirmed that our water damage was minimal. He was very professional and upfront that it might be a few hours before a plumber could come since they were handling some big jobs. Around 9 PM, the home office called to let us know the earliest available appointment would be first thing in the morning, and they even offered a discount for the inconvenience — which we really appreciated. Robert arrived promptly this morning, was super knowledgeable, and explained all our options clearly. He worked efficiently, and our sink is now back to normal! We’re giving 4 stars only because we had to wait until the next day for the repair, but overall, the experience was great. The team was professional, reliable, and took good care of us. We’d definitely recommend Roto-Rooter!
I have had them out before to do a line clearing. Took about an hour and it was $460. That's fine. I am well off enough that it's not a big deal. But... When I call to have you come out a few months later to price gouge me on changing 2 shower valves and a toilet ball stem, because I'm willing to pay it, you don't even show up. No phone call or text. No email. Nothing. Til about 4:35pm. Appointment was for 12-4 with a $65 service fee. They call at 4:35 to tell me "Good news, we have a tech in the area to take your service call". Well it's too late. "Do you want to reschedule?" Well, if there is no service charge then sure. "Oh, no we can't do that, but if you change your mind give us a call back". Uh...no thanks. You lost out on easy money and could have charged the full amount or maybe more but no no no. You couldn't even do common business protocol. That's too bad. I'll call Belkeys! Lol.
I had a clogged drain on my patio and had previously used another company twice (in 11 years) to clear out the drain. They charged $99 but due to the current situation had increased their charge to $169. I decided to contact Roto-Rooter to get a second bid. The technician arrived and said the cost would be $365 per hour for a minimum of 2 hours. When I said that was not acceptable, he said, "What if I just charge you for an hour?" I told him that I had contacted another company and had decided to go with them. He asked what they were charging and when I answered $169, he said, "What if I call my company and can do the job for $200?". I escorted him out and thanked him for coming out. Coronavirus Gouging.
On July 4th 2024, I had a complete toilet build up. Service Guarantee: 6 Months Comment: Install new fill valve and flapper install new stop and supply at same toilet for the primary toilet. The flapper wasn't a new flapper and when we go to flush the toilet, is will run until we push the flapper down to completely seal the opening. I called today and told the agent of my issue. There is a $99 service fee. I paid $678.00 for parts that aren't even a year old. Avoid Roto-Rooter because they don't stand behind their products. No stars.
Had an appointment set up week prior. Confirmed on that Friday for Monday 8am to 10am. Called when no show@10am. Had to call 3 times. Claimed someone will call back. Called me 40 mins later. I have used before. Never again especially right before holidays. Christmas and New Years. Thanks for nothing Irving TX.
