Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Roto-Rooter came out after a pipe burst in our basement on a Saturday night. They were able to come early the next morning and got everything fixed the same day. Tyler was very professional and courteous. I really appreciated their help on short notice.

Sam and John were great. Very nice men to work with and they were very knowledgeable and direct. The type of work I got done couldn’t come with a 6 month guarantee but they gave me their business card and told me to reach out any time to them directly. Since they’ve come to do the work, there hasn’t been a problem with our drain and it’s running smoothly! Would definitely recommend.

Fast and prompt service. The sent a tech out within 2 hours of my call. Tyler was a fairly new technician who was very pleasant in his demeanor. He treated our family and dog very well during this visit. Tyler was very knowledgeable about what we could expect during the drain cleanout and possible maintenance we could need in the future. Care was taken not to make a mess while doing the cleanout and he cleaned up the area after he was finished. All this happen 2 days before Christmas. Surely no one wants to have plumbing issues before any holiday along with an expensive repair BUT this interaction was as painless as it could have been thanks to Roto-Rooter and Tyler. The service was way overpriced. The problem was mid diagnosed and I paid for snaking through my toilet instead of going through the outdoor access point which they didn’t look for. The camera was not able to be used so that service wasn’t available although promised as part of the service. The diagnosis, which would have had me paying over $10k more would have had me excavating an area that wasn’t even close to where the problem was. I would have been out over $11,000 and left with a torn apart driveway and a problem that was unsolved. I am so angry, I feel as though my money was stolen in addition to an unresolved problem. I will never ever recommend your company. In fairness, the people were nice but I feel as though they had no idea what they were doing. I feel as though they basically were grateful and had manners as my money was sucked out of my wallet and I was left with no clear picture of the problem or solution. I had to pay another company to come out to snake and camera the problem correctly. I feel taken advantage of and completely dissatisfied and disappointed. The sad thing is that I’m sure nothing will be done to rectify my experience. Sad UPDATE: after I took the time to better communicate my frustrations, the team at Roto Rooter made sure I was heard and offered a fair compromise. I felt that once they better understood my concerns, their goal was to maintain a long term relationship as opposed to putting a few bucks in their pocket. Thank you for remembering that business is more about people than profit!!

We called for emergency service and they were at our home within 2 hours.. they had a camera team in within 24 hours and repair team too that following Monday. I am confident the work with our insurance company will go smooth due to the fast turn around of paperwork! All the guys were great, professional and so competent and knowledgeable! Cant say enough about each team! Great job and walked us through the trying time we had with a cracked outside line.They are the best.. would highly recommend!!
