Roto-Rooter of Athens

Did an awesome job fixing my friends plumbing issues and charges a very modest fee. I would highly recommend them for issued they involve water backing up and not draining through pipes properly. They definitely aren't afraid to work hard and troubleshoot to find the real issue. 👏

I have used Roto Rooter of Athens several times and they were excellent every single time. From septic pumping to a clogged pipe issue. They got me in incredibly quick every time, called as the driver was on their way and the service was always friendly. I highly recommend them.

Tim and Jose were very helpful when we were told we needed to get pipes moved for a dishwasher install and they instead solved the problem by removing a metal plate that was not allowing the dishwasher to fit! They did this free of charge which is amazing and I appreciated their honesty with solving the problem we had with fitting the dishwasher in! 10/10 recommend.

I called at 8:45am Monday morning for emergency septic pumping was told tech would call when they were on their way. They called me back for my email address so I assumed all was a go. 3 pm I called to let Roto Rooter know tech hasn’t called yet and could they give me a time? She called me back tech is booked up! No call back nothing. So she confirmed that they were going to come in the morning. I told dispatch that if they were busy that could have been very important factor because I would have had plenty of time to get another company. No one is coming here after 3 pm today so we wait, (Although I did call at least 20 companies to try and find someone to help with this urgent need) So I called after 9am next day to find out the tech called in but they didn’t put us on the schedule! No call nothing. I got 2 calls for apologies but I don’t want to hear those because in the meantime I had a duplex that needed service on the septic! They did not even have the courtesy to call me, text or email (they got all my information) Don’t waste your time with these folks they don’t know what they’re doing! I will never call them again even if I have to suite up get a shovel and take care of the septic business myself!! They got ZERO STARS from my business and I wouldn’t refer them to anyone. Period! I Never do reviews but I felt like they didn’t care about my very urgent situation because nobody done ANYTHING! I told both “apologies” calls I would definitely be doing a review! Yes they stink! Worse than the septic contents! But after 2nd failure for Roto Rooter, we were able to get Stone Pumping and thankfully he worked us in! If you need someone to show up and know what they are doing give them a call. These guys are small business and you will not fall between the cracks! You have to hit one star to get any post to go on their website. I assume they earned that for answering the phone…

Roto Rooter was very quick to respond when we called them. We had called another company to pump our septic tank but they were unable to locate our septic tank. Tim and Jose were very professional they tried to find the septic tank using a probe. Then they decided they had to use the camera. We were all surprised at the location of our septic tank! However, they found it quickly and marked it with spray paint! Excellent service! I would highly recommend both Jose and Tim for your septic needs! Thank you for being quick to respond to our emergency!
