Quick, professional, and reliable service. Fixed my plumbing issue efficiently. Highly recommended in Rowlett!
Clogged grey water in master bathroom. On time, actually came an hour early. Scoped all our grey water lines. Unclogged a major toilet paper back up due to my old cast iron pipes flaking. Brandon & Damon were very professional, explained everything and offered suggestions in the future - with our old pipes flaking and with our newer 1.5 gpf to double flush after a #2. tVery reasonably priced, very happy!
Simply the best! Whatever you need, they can handle it! Prompt, courteous and very efficient!!!
Horrible service
I was not satisfied with your customer service's response, but there was nothing more to say. Your representative felt justified in what I believe was an overinflated charge, and I did not. That pretty much sums it up.
I recently had an exceptional experience with Legacy Plumbing in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and I want to share why I highly recommend them. It all started when I noticed my daughter's sink wasn't draining properly. Initially, I thought it was a simple fix--just some Drano--but I remembered to check my HVAC drain pans and water heaters in the attic. That's when I discovered one of my water heaters had been leaking into the drain pan. I jumped on Yelp to find a reputable plumbing company in Denton County and came across Legacy Plumbing--their reviews were stellar, and I quickly saw why. Even though it was 9 PM, I called the number listed and was pleasantly surprised to reach a real person, not an automated system. The call service took my details and assured me someone would reach out in the morning. Sure enough, I got a call first thing the next day, and they had someone available the same day. They were upfront with pricing, which I appreciated, and scheduled a visit for 3-5 PM. To my surprise, I got another call shortly after--they had a tech who could come by 10:30 AM. That kind of responsiveness is rare. Jake, the plumbing specialist, called on his way over. He arrived on time, clean, professional, and courteous--he even wore shoe covers. He patiently listened, assessed the issues, and explained everything in detail. As a fellow veteran, I appreciated the rapport and the time he took to walk me through the problems, especially the failing water heater, which turned out to be 17 years old. Unfortunately, both water heaters needed replacing--not what I wanted to hear, but Jake broke it all down clearly: the parts, labor, and why replacement was necessary. He coordinated with his apprentice, Nick, who arrived shortly after with the second unit, and by 3 PM, both water heaters were replaced and fully operational. They also resolved the separate issue with my daughter's clogged sink (thanks to hair ties and long hair!). From start to finish, the speed, professionalism, and communication were phenomenal. Jake and Nick were excellent, and the entire Legacy team--from the office staff to the service team--was equally impressive. I especially love that they hire veterans and deliver top-tier service. If you're looking for a reliable, honest, and high-quality plumbing company, Legacy Plumbing is it. I'll be recommending them to all my friends and family.
We recently renovated a house we bought to retire in. Demolition and construction caused debris (several tile fragments, a towel, and large amount of grout) to fall into the toilet drain and cement a clot in the drain line. The contractor denied responsibility and blamed it on a sagging main line pipe (drain belly). We were about to pay more than $10k to cut into the foundation to trench and replace the entire main line. Meanwhile, two other plumbing companies came and offered illogical diagnoses. One of the plumbers nearly broke his fiberoptic camera when it snagged on a sharp tile in the pipe. We had another plumber who tried to hydrojet it out and failed. We were about to pay another $4k to hire sewer specialists to access the toilet line from the outside wall closest to the toilet. Finally, we called Legacy Plumbing - who'd always done great work for us previously. We didn't call them at first because we assumed they'd gone "corporate" after being bought out by Ace Hardware. We were so wrong. Legacy plumbing rearranged their schedule to urgently send us plumbers to help us before we wasted thousands on unnecessary and inappropriate repairs. Luke and Kyler diagnosed the problem. They devised a strategy to break off the large clot from the pipe walls into smaller pieces that could be irrigated out of our toilet line and through the mainline. A lesser-skilled plumber would have dislodged a big chunk from the 4 inch toilet pipe and gotten it stuck in the 3 inch mainline. This would have stopped up every single sink/toilet/shower in our house, costing $10-20k to repair. Luke and Kyler had that rare mix of being confident, but humble, courteous and compassionate. I nearly cried when I saw the entire drain line completely cleared. They also checked for potential cracks in the pipe that the sharp tile fragments might have caused. If anyone has any fears about Legacy Plumbing losing its core values as a business..... please don't worry. If we'd called them first, our problem would have been resolved weeks ago, saving us many sleepless nights and time off from work, and incalculable costs. I am very, very grateful. Nikki
It's been a few years since I've reviewed Legacy Plumbing and want to make sure we keep sharing what a great job they're still doing. We've used them a handful over the years and most recently had them out to replace both our hot water heaters. We knew it was a big job and knew we wanted a reliable and trustworthing company handling it so we gave Legacy a call. Our original call was to schedule an inspection of our water heaters as we couldn't get one to light. We were told they'd inspect it and should they find it's broken, which was likely as it's almost 10yrs old, they'd have water heaters with them so they could install same day - score! Travis and his colleague arrived in the window provided, with ample heads up they were on their way. They inspected the broken heater and determined it did need replacing and since we bought both at the same time it was wisest to replace both at the same time. They worked tirelessly removing both old ones and installing new ones. Poor guys were dying it was so hot up in the attic, but they never once complained. They laid down plenty of floor coverings to ensure no debris or dirt was tracked onto our floor and were incredibly kind and polite while they were here. Travis had to come back out to adjust something our city inspector requested, and even then he was kind and polite with a smile the whole time. Legacy Plumbing is relaible, honest, hardworking, timely and they don't cut corners. We are still happy to use and refer Legacy Plumbing!
We decided to finally get a plumber to fix a problem after not being able to fix it ourselves. We called Legacy and spoke to CS Rep Sara for a quote for the job. Without hesitation she gave us 3 different quotes for 3 different scenarios that could potentially happen with the repair, which we truly appreciated! Not many of the plumbing companies will give quotes. It made me more confident in the company since Sara understood the situation. I didn't get that with other plumbing co reps. The day of the appt the plumbers got to the property 30 mins later than the original ETA but the job got done for what was quoted. One thing we didn't like was the lead guy started right away with "so is there anything else that needs fixing, the water heater"? Then wanted to see the water heater. Then a bit later he hinted around about something else that would be nice to add to the property. We were already stressed about having to pay for an expensive repair and with them being 30 mins later than originally expected that put us behind getting to work, so we didn't want to hear a sales pitch. We were impressed that the guys had shoe covers in hand as they got out of the truck bc most repair companies don't. In the end, we are very relieved that the repair is done, that they saved the piece of the sheetrock that they cut to get to the pipe so there wouldn't be a big hole left and so the wall could be patched easier. Was told the repair has a year warranty, which is also a comfort.d
I can't say enough wonderful things about Legacy Plumbing. We had a broken pipe issue no thanks to the builder.Hubert from Legacy came out and evaluated the problem. I didn't feel any pressure to commit to their services. At the time I did not decide to move forward as I wanted several quotes. There was absolutely no pressure. Legacy's pricing was better than other companies. Same bang, better buck. The value, level of knowledge that Hubert exhibited, his friendliness, and honesty won me over. After committing to Legacy Hubert explained the process from beginning to end. Not only did he repair the problem, he placed items back in the flowerbed the way he found them. As a rather neat person I was truly concerned about my flowerbed not looking the same. No problem there. Hubert to the rescue. I couldn't understand how this pipe situation could happen. Nor did I completely understand the process of the repairs. Again Hubert broke everything down to the least common denominator. He even gave me some really good advice that paid off with the builder. The pictures and videos were icing on the cake. Mind you this situation occurred in 2025. Fast forward to February 2026. I was finally reimbursed by the builder. I have Hubert and Legacy Plumbing to thank for properly diagnosing the problem and completing the repairs. I highly recommend Legacy Plumbing any day of the week. Ask for Hubert. He is a veteran. He is upfront, considerate and knows his craft.
My hot water heater stopped working. After trying to re-light the pilot several times I searched Yelp for two plumbers. I wanted companies with over 500 reviews and high scores. Legacy was one of the 2 I received a quote from. They text me a photo of the tech coming to my house, Logan Frank. His resume said he had 17 years experience. His shirt said ACE Hardware and Legacy Plumbing. He showed up on time and he was clean and professional looking. He answered all my questions about my options. I even asked some questions based on my research and he answered correctly. (I wanted to see if he was telling the truth. He was). Within a short time he was able to give me a quote on all of my options. No pressure. Not even when I turned down the monthly service option. I went with the standard gas heater replacing a similar but older less efficient one. The price was over $1,500 less than the other quote. I mentioned that my guest bathroom has a long wait to get hot water. He told us about an option of a Comfort Pump. The cost was reasonable. They were able to install the new water heater in about 2 1/2 hours complete with the additional pump. I was very pleased with the company and the tech, Logan Frank. I'd have no problem calling them for future services.
My hot water heater in the attic gave up the ghost after 15 years of good service so I got busy and did my research. I was very pleased to find Legacy Plumbing who clearly had the best reviews for plumbing services in the Dallas area. I asked them to send their top-notch expert technician, and I was very fortunate that they sent Jason and his excellent assistant (Ricardo) to my home the next day. They carefully removed (and disposed of) my old water heater and did a beautiful job of installing the new one (it was made by A.O. Smith Corporation). The installation job required several hours but it was clearly done properly. During the entire installation process, Jason kept me well informed. I highly recommend Legacy Plumbing for any plumbing or water heater installation needs. This is a very professional company what goes out of its way to provide exceptional customer service. There was no sales pitch and no pressure. As I have always said, selecting a reputable company and high-quality equipment is important, but having it installed properly by a team of highly knowledgeable experts is the most important aspect of the job. Jason and his wonderful team did exactly that.
Aaaaaaaand Legacy Plumbing continues to be awesome! I called them recently because my 15-yr-old condo's upstairs toilet was making some odd noises and flushing weirdly. You know how you can't always adequately describe the noises something is making...I did the best I could. And after the previous water fiasco (see my previous update on this review, the issue that Logan and Matthew bailed me out of) I remain in permanent PTSD mode when it comes to any possible water issues. So the words "upstairs" and "toilet" and "possible issues" will cause me to break out in hives. Alex and Jose quickly figured out that it was just the internal parts in the tank that had aged and were starting to malfunction. Not wanting any more water adventures, the guys were patient with my questions and I ended up asking them to replace the entire toilet (you thought I was kidding about the PTSD, didn't you?). Kudos to the guy at the LP office (Nick?) who worked out some scheduling to make it happen the same day! I'll sleep better at night. Plus, this new toilet is more water-efficient than the old one. These guys are great - call them for any plumbing needs!
I called Legacy to repair a slow water leak in an interior wall. I have used Legacy for years and once again it was a pleasant, stress free experience. Tyler and his apprentice, Logan, could not have been nicer and more professional to work with. Before cutting the drywall we discussed a strategy to minimize the size of the opening but still determine if mold growth was an issue. Tyler ran a camera they use for pipe inspection down the wall and showed me what he was seeing as it descended. The repair itself was fast, efficient and looked great! As with all of the other Legacy plumbers I have interacted with, they are also happy to answer any plumbing questions you have unrelated to the job at hand. I also want to give a big shout out to Legacy's apprentice program. Legacy takes young adults with no plumbing or trade school experience and teaches them to be a licensed plumber. I asked Logan about his experience as an apprentice and he said it was like being part of a close family. He was very grateful to be with them and for what he was learning. I highly recommend Legacy Plumbing!
Had another great experience today with Legacy Plumbing. Johnny carefully looked over the work we needed and offered excellent options on how best to approach the job, which included cost-savings by bundling the toilet tank rebuild instead of just the bolts and gasket, and replacing the shutoff valve (which was way overdue). Johnny also found the most cost-effective solution for diagnosing our tub faucet and handles replacement. I really appreciated his thoughtfulness and professionalism. Work completed and tested thoroughly. Excellent! Appointment was made quickly, and follow-up calls were received to confirm the day before and day of, which gave me confidence on the time window. Everyone's time is valuable, so this is really great customer service. We previously had a great experience with Kelly, who expertly diagnosed a pipe leak from our water heater and got it fixed perfectly. I highly recommend Legacy. Thank you, Johnny!
