“On Black Friday I had someone here within a few hours of calling about a leak to my water heater; he diagnosed the problem and quickly got the parts to fix it. He explained the repair and even got additional parts if I needed to fix the other tube down the road. I was very pleased with the speed of response, repair, and the price.”

“I had a new set of tenants move in and they contacted me Friday night saying the hot water heater was not working. I called Mr. Rooter at 8 am the next morning (Saturday) and it was fixed by 11:30 am the same day. Our technician was Justin and he was very nice, informative and made our experience top tier.”
What reviewers report — the concerns
Other directories bury these. We think you should read them before you call. Every concern below comes from the reviews it cites.
Red flag
Septic upcharge documented: $500 quoted with justification "it was really full" — this rationale is contradicted by the standard reason customers call for septic pumping, and the job required zero prep work from the tech.
“I personally dug up the tank and removed the lid to confirm it needed to be pumped. When they showed up, everything was already exposed. No digging, no lid removal. The technician quoted my wife $500 because the tank was "really full," which didn't make much sense since people only call to have septic tanks pumped when they're full.”
Septic pump quoted at $500 for a fully pre-exposed tank (no digging, no lid removal required) — a comparable job cost $380 with a competitor just days before.

The evidence — in reviewers' own words
Critical
“I decided to try Mr. Rotor after being recommended by a close friend who has done work for them. I normally use another company and usually pay under $400 to have my septic pumped. A friend of mine paid $380 with another company just days before my service. Before they arrived, I personally dug up the tank and removed the lid to confirm it needed to be pumped. When they showed up, everything was already exposed. No …”
Positive
“Quick and efficient service! Contacted them on a Friday, they came out the following Tuesday and sent me confirming text messages. Our technician was professional, friendly and not only did he empty our septic tank, he also fixed a blockage in our plumbing. We are very pleased and highly recommend this company.”
“I've never used Mr. Rooter for my plumbing needs before, but they will be the first I call next time.
