Septic upcharge documented: $500 quoted with justification "it was really full" — this rationale is contradicted by the standard reason customers call for septic pumping, and the job required zero prep work from the tech.

Quick and efficient service! Contacted them on a Friday, they came out the following Tuesday and sent me confirming text messages. Our technician was professional, friendly and not only did he empty our septic tank, he also fixed a blockage in our plumbing. We are very pleased and highly recommend this company.
I had a new set of tenants move in and they contacted me Friday night saying the hot water heater was not working. I called Mr. Rooter at 8 am the next morning (Saturday) and it was fixed by 11:30 am the same day. Our technician was Justin and he was very nice, informative and made our experience top tier. If you ever need a quick fix, I can’t recommend them more!
I've never used Mr. Rooter for my plumbing needs before, but they will be the first I call next time. On Black Friday I had someone here within a few hours of calling about a leak to my water heater; he diagnosed the problem and quickly got the parts to fix it. He explained the repair and even got additional parts if I needed to fix the other tube down the road. I was very pleased with the speed of response, repair, and the price (especially considering it was a "holiday" for several other plumbers who would not come out at all). Mr. Rooter is now my "plumber on call" when I need them!
I decided to try Mr. Rotor after being recommended by a close friend who has done work for them. I normally use another company and usually pay under $400 to have my septic pumped. A friend of mine paid $380 with another company just days before my service. Before they arrived, I personally dug up the tank and removed the lid to confirm it needed to be pumped. When they showed up, everything was already exposed. No digging, no lid removal. The technician quoted my wife $500 because the tank was “really full,” which didn’t make much sense since people only call to have septic tanks pumped when they’re full. We agreed to the price to get it done. We were later billed $888.21. When I called the office to speak with a manager, I was not allowed to. Instead, they said the technician would call me back. The explanation we received afterward was that the extra charges were for running a camera and for excess sludge. The invoice shows an $83 sludge charge billed twice and roughly $388 for a camera. If a camera was run, it would have gone only a few feet. The septic is less than six feet from the house, and the break was right at the entrance, which I had already pointed out. The work itself seemed okay, but the pricing, billing, and lack of management involvement left us feeling overcharged and let down. Offering a small discount only if we agreed to nearly $2,000 in additional repairs didn’t help. Buyer beware. I will not be using or recommending this company again.
Scheduled quickly, came in time, for the job done, reasonable charge, explained clearly. Nick was so nice and I was glad to meet him! I could not be more pleased with your service! Highly recommend calling Mr.Tooter! ( bad spell check but appropriate! Mr. Rooter of course)
