We had a great experience with young plumbing! Jeremy came out to help with our septic issue and he was fantastic. He was on time, very knowledgeable, and took the time to explain what was going on without making us feel rushed. He was honest, professional, and easy to talk to. You can tell he really knows what he’s doing and genuinely cares about helping his customers. If you need plumbing or septic work done, I definitely recommend young plumbing and especially Jeremy. Oh, what a lovely morning with two brilliant young men from Young Plumbing Services! It’s an old house that was built on love and other ideals; now it’s time to set things aright. All those little annoying issues that would not go away, regardless of how much work had been done, will now be removed entirely and this house will flow naturally, normally and in peace, with peace of mind. A call was made to the office on late Monday; an appointment was set for Wednesday. If a slot became available sooner late Tuesday afternoon, I would be slid into the schedule. Sidney was ever so patient and kind with me, keeping me informed every step of the way. But an early morning phone call today, Tuesday, from Sidney at the office got the ball rolling quickly. The two gentleman made a courteous phone call to let me know that they were on the way. Alberto and Mekhi arrived calmly and professionally. They patiently listened to me with all the details and concerns I had to share about the plumbing issues in this old house, but the current toilet issue was my immediate concern. Alberto and Mekhi kept me informed every step of the way of their findings and suggestions. Both were personable and professional. Both treated me with the utmost respect. They earned my respect, in many ways. Tomorrow begins the work that should have been done initially, many, many years ago. The galvanized and cast iron bits and pieces, the dysfunctional bits and bobs, the on and off issues will be a thing of the past. All things will become new and this house will be a safe haven for another lifetime and then some. And Alberto and Mekhi ... I will remember them as my special friends for a very long time. I reckon they may know more about me now than most folks do. Young Plumbing Services: Just give them a call. You will be well cared for. But wait, there’s more! Matt, Jeremy and Kole teamed up on day one and began the process of digging out, digging through major root balls and chipping away at understanding a mountain of ancient connections. Richard and Jeremy took over on day two, in the pouring rain! Jeremy doesn’t like to get wet from the rain, but not once did he hesitate to work in the muck, mud, mire and ... other brown stuff. On day three, Richard and Jeremy were joined by Caila, Jacob and James. Richard, by the way, arrived driving his big white steed with that Bobcat in tow. He is a master at what he does as it happens. I watched it all with my own two eyes. And if I were being totally transparent, I would tell you that he solved issues that I’ve been begging and praying for the past 13 years that someone would come along and offer lasting relief. He did what no one has been willing or capable of doing. John Wayne would have serious competition with this one. Rooster Cogburn, indeed. Jeremy went above and beyond to match the black caulk with the black toilet seat. It was a long day, that day, for all involved. The Young team worked past 8 PM on a Friday, no less. Laughter and respect were always shared, keeping everyone moving along and honoring me the entire time. A few nicks and scrapes here and there, minor punctures in foreheads happened, but after serving them milk and cookies, they went right back at it until all was completed. They clean up after themselves too. My home is better than it ever has been because of Young Plumbing Services. I am well loved and loved well in the hands of Young Plumbing Services. Wouldn’t you agree?
Josef arrived on time today to assess my needs of removing the old water heater & discussed my options for replacement to my satisfaction - Matt arrived shortly after with a new water heater & all necessary parts for any upgrades to water lines , connections, gas line, etc. He answered all my questions and was knowledgeable regarding installation. A professional job was done in a timely manner & appreciated! Thanks Young Plumbing for having well trained friendly employees.
Dishonest assessment of repair needed, overpriced quote of $5400, never received a copy of what I signed on an iPad, fear tactics used, high pressure to commit, was told I needed to replace water and sewer line, they were new PVC and replaced less than 3 years before when I bought my house-confirmed by another plumber, I paid a $2000 deposit on 4/18. Called several times to confirm what I was receiving because the quoted price was to replace both lines and I never received the quote, was sent to an AI bot, received a text back on 4/20 promising a full refund of my deposit. On that same day I called another plumber, he came out and fixed the cracked pipe at the meter box, exactly where the city water department employee said the crack was. Young plumbing said the pipe was not cracked there, that the leak was farther up the line and I need to replace the entire line. I will post the video of the leak on my facebook page and on all local group pages since I cannot attach it here. As of 5/29 I still have not received a refund. Young Plumbing cashed and kept my entire $2000 check, promised a refund, promised a replacement refund check, and now are not responding to my requests for my refund. I have filed a formal complaint with the South Carolina department of consumer affairs. An honest plumber came out on 4/20 and repaired the cracked pipe that was exactly where young plumbers said it wasn’t. It took a couple hours, and I paid $225 total for the repair. A tree root had put pressure on the pipe and caused it to crack. The honest plumber saved me $5175.
I've been experiencing issue with water backing up and seeping out around a toilet and flooding my ceiling in my garage. Charlie and his teammate were very thorough in evaluating the issue and offering possible fixes. In short, it was a construction issue from the builder. I really appreciate how well Young plumbing services addressed the issue and explained it. I can recommend them and will use them for future issues should they arise.
