Shane was the plumbing professional who serviced our home. He was very professionally and knowledgeable. He was very kind and courteous and explained our situation in great detail. A new sump pump was installed, and my family is very happy. I’d also like to recognize the communication that I received as I placed a service ticket online in the middle of the night and by 6:30 AM I received an electronic response via email from the company. I remodeled my laundry room and had to have the plumbing relocated. I have dealt with Mahon plumbing for decades. They always send courteous respectful and very knowledgeable technicians to your home. I have a very busy Schedule and they always show up on the day and the time they promised. They treat your home with respect and the work is always top-notch. When their work is completed they clean up and make sure you're 100% satisfied. I would recommend Mahon plumbing to anyone that needs commercial or residential work done. I promise you will not be disappointed or find a better company.

Wonderful company with wonderful people! Every time I call for an issue, Rose is so helpful and nice. She makes sure I get an appointment scheduled with ease & verifies information on my issue. I've had the pleasure of both Shane & Patrick visit my home to help with my water system. They are both incredibly kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful! I couldn't recommend this place enough. I'll never use any other plumbing company!!

Mahon plumbing is the biggest, most inappropriate people I have ever met. Greg Mahon might be the biggest asshole on the planet. He is building a home near mine and I have heard nothing but terrible things about him from all of the neighbors around him. He doesn't notify them of anything, has caused all kinds of damage he doesn't plan on taking responsibility for, and make consistent rude and completely inappropriate comments. I went and talked to him personally about some damage to my property and he went off on me and my wife. I mean went off. Saying that I was this and I was that. I really didn't know what to say in response as I was totally taken off guard. I have asked around about him too and Anne Arundel County officials as well as other local business owners all know and are familiar with how inappropriate this guy is. One County official just rolled his eyes and said, "we have had more than one complaint about Greg Mahon." If you need plumbing services or anything for that matter please look for another service. Mahon Plumbing could possibly be the worst people on the planet. I am not joking.

Had these guys come out to quote some work. They seemed interested in the job when here, seemed invested, but we can't get past the bitchy secretary from hell. She is awful to work with and we've lost interest entirely in working with them.

Call Millennium Instead (410) 265-8833. We had a Sprinkler pipe freeze and burst in February and called Mahon so that we could get water back. We had specifically told them on the phone that it was a sprinkler that had burst but when they got to our home they told us that they didn't work with sprinklers (shouldn't they have shared this information over the phone?). Instead the guy they sent had us write him a personal check and he put a valve on the main line to separate the sprinkler. Since it was a personal check with no receipt we could not submit it as part of the insurance claim. He told us that the sprinkler repair people would be able to remove it. When the sprinkler repair man came he told us he didn't have the tools to work with compression fittings and that we would have to call Mahon to remove the compression fitting since sprinkler pipes are PVC and they don't work with the metal. When we called Mahon back they first told us they never did anything of the sort, when I gave the dispatcher the name of the plumber they had sent she was surprised and said she would talk to him. They insisted that the sprinkler people would be able to fix it no matter how many times I explained that they had already been to our place and told me they could not. They completely ignored me and were extremely rude. I could under no circumstances convince them to schedule a visit. We finally resolved the issue by calling Millennium Plumbing (410) 265-8833 they had to cut the valve away.

I had a leaking shut off valve on the waterline to a remote garage a couple hundred feet away. This was during that recent cold snap we had where every plumber was busy thawing out pipes and repairing frozen pipes but I called Mahon plumbing and Chris immediately said give me a minute and I'll call you back he did and had a guy stop in my house between jobs within a couple hours And he brought everything he needed because I had sent a picture of the situation and from that they analyzed it then the guy showed up with all the tools he needed and a truck full of spare parts. He had the latest pipe connecting technology I knew the days of gas flames and soldering were probably gone And there's the technology that's available to us amateurs where we can push. The pipes together is also surpassed now they had the latest connection technology and the equipment they needed to implement it and I got a beautiful job done in no time at all and I stood and watched a technician, and he explained every step he was doing and it was really educational experience and then for a very reasonable price it was fixed, and he was out of there. so I gave them a five star rating For the way they operated so professionally. (Excuse the voice texting probably got a couple errors in there )

I had a new bathroom remodel done in my home in October. While the company was still working in my home on other projects, we started having problems with our toilet backing up. The remodel company tried fixing the problem, only for two day later, it to happen again After a few failed attempts a different plumbing coming came out to fix it. They told me they snaked my toilet and it should be better .... 5 days later the toilet was backing up again. A friend who is retired from a plumbing career, and was an inspector for the state, recommended Mahon plumbing to us . After struggling with this problem for a month and a half, and finally not using the toilet, Mahon came out and solved the problem!! They found a piece of pvc that had fallen into the toilet during remodel . We've are so happy to say that Mahon plumbing has allowed us to enjoy our new remodeled bathroom ..... at last!!!!

Requested a quote on a whole house repipe. A representative came out early in the week and said we would receive a quote by the end of the week, mostly likely in 2 days. A week and a half goes by and we still hadn't received their quote. I called and spoke to a woman who I found to be very rude. She spent more time talking than listening and then claimed she was trying to be empathic. I've been in customer service for nearly 40 years and have been trained in showing empathy. I would never speak to a potential customer the way she spoke to me. When I finally raised my voice and told her exactly how she was making me feel, she shut up and started listening. We received the quote the next day only to find that it was $3k+ over the other 2 quotes I received for this job. Unless you don't care about communication, responsiveness, and how much you spend, I wouldn't recommend.

Holden and Nelson showed up when scheduled and we're professional and nice. Holden went above and beyond to find the clog in our main sewer line. After they cleared it they stayed to test that the water going to the line flowed freely. I started using Mahon 14 years ago for water line leak in my front yard. Greg showed up said he would have my water back on in 4 hours. He did after digging up my front yard and busting some concrete. Had it looking like new in that 4 hour time period. 4 years ago Mahon Plumbing showed up after I had a sewage overflow from my basement toilet. They found that it was a County issue by using a camera. I recommend them for any job large or small. They post up and take care of business. Also Rose, who works in the office is super nice.

i had an outstanding experience with Mahon Plumbing!! Mahon repair gentleman was on time and so very kind and explained to me his work in fixing my toilet. My local area had a water main break and i discovered a problem when the system was turned back on. My excellent Repair Gentleman went right to work and had the correct piece for the tank - the job was completed, water turned on and i got to have a 100% fix. Since the repair, everything is perfect!! I was extremely impressed with Mahon - the Repair Gentleman was so kind and was amazingly knowledgeable. Rose in the office listened to me after the job was completed-it was great having the business helping me with getting my repair completed with a report of A+!!!! I wish all businesses were as EXCELLENT!

Mahon Plumbing's efforts for us last week were excellent. The technician was able to clearly identify our problem in the sewer line and he worked hard to make sure he properly checked every part of the system underground, including pulling the heavy manhole cover in the street several times. > > I am pleased I now have a plumbing firm I can turn to and trust. Quite honestly, nobody else seemed willing to give me a price before visiting even though I explained exactly what I needed and the accessibility of the clean outs, etc. That was annoying and I don't have time to waste. Chris let me know exactly what the charge would be before coming out. Well worth it.

I called Mahon after another plumber walked off our remodeling job before it was finished. Mahon was quick to identify issues that were left incomplete or incorrect, and was able to finish the job efficiently and for a reasonable price. Chris Mahan went above and beyond by helping to move/unbox appliances and gave expert opinions that helped in our legal dispute with the previous plumber. It can be difficult to find contractors who don't cut corners or take advantage of homeowners, but Mahon was honest and helped us out of a difficult situation and has earned a customer for life. I would never think of calling anyone else for my plumbing needs.

My washing machine kept backing up during the drain cycle. I initially called another company to come out, the tech spent about 10 mins looking at it and handed me a tablet to sign for a VERY high repair bill. Then I gave Mahon Plumbing a call. The plumber that came out was prompt, incredibly knowledgeable, and extremely friendly. He informed me about the issue, let me know things I could do as preventative maintenance, and went to work fixing the problem. The repair from Mahon’s was 2/3 what the other guys tried to charge me. The best thing about this whole experience is I know who I’m calling for plumbing from now on.

Hired them on 3 separate occasions bc they're close. Usually takes about 1-2 weeks to set an appointment, 4hr time window (always came right at the end for me). Got the job done but they can get snappy and snarky on the phone. The aesthetics of their work are not their priority at all lol. Their work has a tendency to need further updates months down the line. Reply: I called specifically for the installation of the sink vanity structure, not just to install a faucet. 5 months later it's come to my attention that the pipes have been leaking into a drawer in the structure, ruining my belongings kept in said space.
