Ihn Company

I have used Ihn Company for approximately 25 years. They have worked on projects at my personal home and for other projects professionally. They always provide timely, detailed proposals. The price is competitive, scheduling is quick, and the quality of work has always been high.

Excellent Service. Professional Staff from the first call ... all the way through to the end of our Project(s). Multiple Plumbing Needs were addressed, by several Ihn Team Members. We were taken care of in a timely manner, by highly skilled individuals; and would Recommend Ihn Company to Family & Friends!

I did some research before starting my basement remodeling project. Had several companies come to provide me a quote. I learned more from Jim, the owner, about things to look for than anyone I had met with. I needed an egress window installed and I learned that they are also Master Plumbers, Radon Specialists, and Foundation Experts. I found that by hiring The IHN company I was able to get all of these services provided for my basement remodel. They were able to secure my basement from any future moisture migration along with providing a complete sump pump re-build. I had my Radon system moved during this portion of the basement remodel. The men were polite and asked if there was anything I needed before they left for the day. They cleaned up after each days work and were punctual the following morning. The workmanship far exceeded my expectations, not to mention the one source with a reasonable price.

I had a water heater replaced. I was given a global charge of $3,295.00. Thought it was expensive (as did many of my friends) but I needed to replace it. I was not given any options of water heaters as well (the water heater was $2,250.00). Being so expensive I called the company and requested an itemized report. I was there when the technician started and when he finished. He worked 2 hours no more but the report stated 3.5 hours worked. At $199.95 and hour thats a lot of money. I asked several times to talk with someone who I could discuss the overcharge with and was told someone would but it never happened. I value the money I make and honestly I was ripped off (thats how I feel knowing I was overcharged intentionally).

My husband and I were referred to the IHN company for some basement water issues we were having. We ended up needing our entire drain tile replaced. I was happy with how quickly they could get out to do the assessment, and I understood that it took roughly a month to come out and do the work. What I was really disappointed with is after we spent over $8K doing this work, they left my basement a disaster with broken tile all around and did not clean up after themselves. I would not have expected everything to be pristine, but these pictures show that little to no effort was done. I had to badger them with repeated phone calls for DAYS to even get in touch with someone. While they did offer to come back the following week and try and "touch up", we could not afford to wait as we had already postponed putting our house on the market. My husband and I spent an entire weekend cleaning up their mess. My last email asked in a very nice way for a small refund to compensate us for the cleanup work we had to do. That was two weeks ago, with of course - no response. The drain tile is working great, but I'm sorry to say I would NEVER recommend this company after they left my basement in this condition.
